Making a pallet bed frame for our new Emma matras. I just do things my way: all for fun. Hope you enjoy the making off! XX / marloeswonen www.marloeswonen.nl/
I am so doing this! I have switched to "floor sleeping"- sleeping on the floor with just a mattress topper, but I'm so creeped out by the thought of bugs crawling in me- this design probably still really firm because of all the slats. Thanks for the video!
👋 Hi, I'm so glad I found this video!! I will build this bed in two weeks for my new apartment and am excited already. For my version I will modify it though and add 9 posts to make it a futon bed. I will tag you in the finished results! 🙌🏻
I csn definitely see myself building one of these when i move. Love the decor too. Matress is great too, though expensive. Great job. Have been to University
Personally, I would have created the pallets as two recangles, representing each half of the bed, and just slid them together. Trying to move that about when you move housr will be tough!
Great Video and can be rest assured that bed isn't going anywhere. I'd say an overbuild for sure!!! I want mine a bit higher off the floor, but your overall design is great!
What lightweight & strong material do I need to make a Murphy style type bed with legs. It will be put in a campervan. 35" width by 72"? I don't plan on using any gas shocks either. It would be nice if the frame is around 50lbs or less. The mattress will be an additional 50lbs.
hey can i ask what the names of all the tools you used are? also did you drill holes before putting the nail? really beautiful im hoping to make this soon
hi i was wonder what kind of wood are you using in this video to make your fame? like the size of the slates you used and are those 2by 4s i have a project in mind and your bed frame stucture is great start for it
hey, mag ik vragen waar je de balken en planken heb gekocht? ik zou graag de afmetingen willen hebben enzo maar wil het gelijk ook zo goedkoop mogelijk houden, dank je well
I feel like all that lumber costs as much as just buying a nice bedframe. I did something similar with drift wood. Just notched and built like Lincoln logs. Mine was free save for the screws.
Could someone tell me how much the bed weighs? I'm just going to put it on the wheels and hide the bed under the podium, but it seems to me it will be too heavy construction xD Maybe someone knows the type of lightweight board
Brilliant! Great tutorial. I can't help but wonder, though, why are the boards on the bottom not evenly spaced? Not sure if I could sleep knowing that!! lol
Also, did someone in the US make this project? What sizes did you use for a full/queen bed? I am just starting and this project looks amazing, I just don't know what length wood I should use
Hi there! Thanks for the great video! Could you please provide the dimensions of the 3 wood pieces used? Thanks. Also, how has it held up since? Is it a squeaker??? :O
We are moving house tomorrow and have only a double mattress. Need a bed so I will check how can we build the same bed. 🤗 I could cover the frame with nice material so no mess under the bed ;)
HI! I know this is an old video, but if you can, can you tell me what those little pads at 2:19 are for? I'm about to go buy the materials for this, just wondering if I needed those too. Thanks!
Awesome and practical frame. I’m in my garage right now about to build it for my granddaughter. Great job. Thanks!
It's soooo easy! This is what i've been looking for. Thank you so much!! ❤❤❤
Your video was easily demonstrated and better than any other DIY video I’ve seen! Good job👍🏻😁

you handle power tools better then a lot of men i know and you knows how to make a bed, that pretty much puts most of us guys to shame...good job!
nice. you could probably raise that off the floor with 5 solid posts. looks very sturdy. goodjob!
Wow!
U got to show how to make a bed can be easy. Thanks for that.
You go girl!
Love it!
any reason you chose to screw 2 x 2x4's together instead of just buying some 4x4's?
landis69 most likely cheaper and also gives a cooler look imo
It gives you the pallet look and cost less.
Hahaha...
And no twisting

You make it look so easy 😂😂😂 how did you measure it before buying to get the exact measurements of your bed?

well done.. perfect.
Very good! Was that a nail gun that you used to attached the top layer of the bed together?
Love that.
seanviv2 хуйня!!!!!
perfect,,, good idea
Nice bed, bravo.
Does anyone know what tool was used to attach the smaller boards at the end and why it was used instead of the other drills?
you really have talent
Good job!

Wat leuk dat je zoon je helpt !
Beautiful furniture
how long the distance between one small boards to another?
how long the high of small boards? is 4cm enough? thank you :)

Marloes doet graag boodschappen bij de hornbach en praxis XD Leuk gemaakt zou hem zelf wat hoger maken.
nobody noticed the unequal distances between the beams. Any reason for that? Anyway thanks for the video, I will build this as well.
480shenanigans lmao your comment is gold
480shenanigans 😂😂😂✅
Fuck it it’ll do lol least she was self sufficient!
Hi do u have a list of the wood u used?
I loved it but u did not go into detail with the wood u used or wat sizes or length
Perfect
Браво!!!!
Super genial gracias 👍🤗🇨🇱🇨🇱
Add drawers in the cut out at the bottom :)
Looks good, although you could have easily done that with less than half of the lumber used. It would be cheaper and lighter.
do you have measurements you would use for a king size?
great vid :)
Bravissima ,complimenti, bel letto.
nice!!!👍
wow very nice😍😍😍👌
Is it more comfortable than the usual bed?
Great job
cute!
