Did you cut anything in the new grille surround? I ordered the parts from Amazon (same part number) and the parts don’t look the same, the surround has 3 vertical bezels in the middle. Trying to do the same on a 2014 Mustang V6 base.
Julio Lopez no cutting necessary. Thankfully the 2013-14 mustang shares the same front bumper as the base model v6 so all you need i the gt grille surround to serve as an adapter and your good to go!👌🏽
Brian Islas thanks for the prompt reply! Oddly the parts I received do not fit on my bumper. And as I was following your video, the surround you were using looks a little different than the one on the website you listed. I’ll try ordering from another place and see, trying to avoid the dealer as don’t take them back if they don’t fit. Thanks again!

Gerald Managuit it was just a simple replacement. I swapped out the front grille support to the gt support so it would fit the grille as well. You can find either one at a Ford Oem parts retail store online!
Brian Islas okay, did you have to remove the bumper when you did it by any chance ? or did you just simply pull both the v6 grill and v6 grill surround out forward ? And how are the halo LED’s holding up today ?
Brian Islas I just got my GT grill surround & GT grill yesterday. I even superglued some LED’s in the fog holes exactly like you did Lol I just have to wire the LED’s & put the grill in 👍🏼👍🏼
Yes ! I had to remove the entire front bumper off because it made it easier to get to the little tabs holding the grille and grille surround in place. It makes for easier work .
