I was looking out a window at work one morning and thought something similar, how little and insignificant we are. Oddly enough, it gave me a sense of solace instead of fear. All my worries, anxieties, problems. What are they compared to the vast, fogged treelines I could see then? If me and all my issues suddenly ceased to exist, it wouldn't be changed in the least. And I felt a strange beauty in that, even now I couldn't even begin to describe it. Like no matter what problems I've got in my life, this sort of peace before me will remain.
i love being nice but i feel like i get no excitement in my life, i am not social and prefer to be alone, but at the same time i wish to have a woman in my life and a collection of friend groups, i assume it´s societal pressure but still, life can get better.

Well it is very gloomy compared to many many sets of silent hill thematic, but... is not cold like aphex twin ambient works 2, or the magnificent void of steve roach, that frozen my mind, i kind of think i am going to sleep with this aural noir melancholy, will travel this foggy midnight oh yeah in my secret heart i rest, dark waters of peace, AMEN
i live next to a state forest and there is a huge field that is often heavily fogged in the early morning it reminds me of silent hill visuals but im more worried about the bears charging at great speeds through it at me 💀

Yeah, it has definitely the same style! I use a lot of the same sample libraries, Akira Yamaoka used for all of the SH soundtracks. I just can recommend to play it one day! ^^

So did Yamaoka stole his style from bands like Portishead or Nine Inch Nails (or even from the sample librarie companies) ? I give enough credit to him and the SH franchies in many of my videos. Think it's clear, where the influence come from. ^^
