Aight I'm getting flamed in the comments so I'm gonna add this to be real;
I do think I could have explained why the conclusion wasn't something I agreed with better, but I was too caught in the emotions to consider thinking. The Review of Bowser vs Eggman will have an in depth reason as to why I think the way I do, but for the Armies (which is the one I've seen the most), Bowsers Army is more loyal and Harmonious, but Eggmans army just outright has the stat trinity. More detail will be later, but yes I will fully admit I was consumed by salt (which, like, it's Death battle, salt is par for the course here)
its okay bro, we all say somethings when we are in the heat of the moment, but talking about the stat side, it will not matter if the army does not know how to use it as a team, if you look the whole war was eggman sending 1 at a time while he could've used full power at once, but he simply does not trust his own creations and will not be willing to care about it, plus eggman is very, very arrogant, if in his mind he created a scenario where his move won he will stick to it just like trying to fire the death egg 2 times, the stat part just goes down the drain like this

Not sure how they have the stat trinity when Bowser's army had higher finite ends without power ups, both had the same infinite multiversal scalings as high ends [chaos emeralds and grand stars/pure hearts/dream stone going from universal to multiversal], and Bowser's army had more reliable methods of stat manipulation and item manipulation. Everything was pretty much there in the conclusion and black boxes
bowser does win army, lmao. Bowser army is bigger, works together more efficiently without sage, has power ups and BILLIONS of variations and the overal quantity of heavy hitters would outdo the biggest stars eggman has. Hell IGGY KOOPA alone can copy the stats of his opponents like mario and luigi- meaning iggy GOD DAMN KOOPA alone could keep metal sonic occupied
Metal Sonic solos most of Bowser's army (iggy is not keeping him occupied) Everything else you've said is true tho, Army DOES go to Bowser since his army does have better teamwork and is a lot more loyal. Eggman on the other hand, hand even make his machines sentient, because the moment he does, he gets betrayed. He got betrayed by Metal Sonic, Infinite, The Deadly Six, Eggman Nega, another one of his creations from the Sonic Advance games (that i forgot the name of) and a lot more.

@@kvendiio you'd be surprised, bowser jr directly scales to most of bowser's feats despite being a child. Hell bowser and jr have got in fights before and JR HAS WON. I doubt bowser was going all out but that's still an impressive feat- and the koopalings should match that level of power naturally. Combined with their transmutation magic and the koopalings + jr can absolutely handle metal

You should have listened to the explaination at the end. They literally explained every single category and then you wonder how Bowser wins certain categories? Come on, man, listen. That's entirely on you. Bowser won easily.

Dude it was probably the most hectic our watch party has ever been I could barely hear the conclusion because of the pure disbelief everyone had seeing bowser win (the majority of us, me included, predicted eggman would win but i got to yell my lungs off for bowser winning which you didn’t get to hear since i was ahead of everyone else)

I kept hearing a lot of them mentioning the Time Eater not being shown in the actual fight, but in the end analysis they showed multiple alternate scenarios such as Eggman going Super, or him using the Metal Virus, and yes, also the Time Eater. They showed Bowser still had counters to them like the Metal Virus through his transmutation magic, Super Eggman was hard countered by Wonder Bowser's Universe level reality warping, and the Time Eater was countered with Dreamy Bowser's wish abilities. I think they showed another one where Bowser used the Star Rod, don't know what form Eggman took. Point is the animation is literally just a show. What they showed us was simply for entertainment, the end analysis is the only thing that goes into determining who would win. Bowser had the better Stats, Bowser had the better Powers, Eggman was far more intelligent, both had insane Trump Cards, so it was a tie, and Bowser by far had the better army. His army was bigger, actually loyal, and their abilities were busted. King Boo had far better mastery over illusions and reality warping than Infinite and could also being intangible, Kamek was busted for being able to cancel out enemy abilities (Like Metal Sonic's biological data copy), buff his allies, and being able to steal or swap items around. I think it's fair to say Eggman's army had a stronger destructive output compared to Bowser, but Bowser's army had more "Hax" to be able to mess with Eggman's army. Also, the fact that Eggman's empire at most only ever managed to take over the planet, while Bowser's army managed to take over most of the Universe, TWICE. He's clumsy and goofy, but unless you know the lore most people severely underestimate him. They didn't even mention the fact that aside from Bowser surviving Black Holes and Supernovas, he literally pushed himself out of a Black Hole. So not just an insane defense feat, but also an insane strength feat. Or the fact that Dry Bowser is actually heavier than normal Bowser, meaning he is denser, and is often a more powerful version than his normal self and not just an undead version. I mention all this because Bowser himself is part of his army, he fights on the front lines. With much better leadership, I can get behind Bowser's army being the stronger in this bout.

I think the only way Eggman won was if they brought in the Eggzalamander or the Eggwizard. that there I didn't even win with Bowser Dreams

But really the extent of Bowser Dream's dream power is unknown, and the eggwizar is a robot that surpasses the power of the sun emeralds and the chaos emeralds, powers that surpass the understanding of the mind. Furthermore, the eggwizard has existential control and greater destructive power. Furthermore, it would not be strange for the eggwizard to have invulnerability to alterations of reality like those made by Bowser Dream, since the chaos emeralds have already resisted existential erasures, and the eggwizard transcends that power by quite a bit.

If you look after the K.0, Orbot and cubot are casually deserting to join bowser team since eggman abuses them alot meanwhile Sage is currently plotting against bowser when shes joining bowser army(i probably see her using the star rod to bring back eggman for revenge)

Lol thats a common problem with reacting on discord the constant drops can be a pain and the delay makes it hard not to talk over each other or the video. I love how they had alternate animations for stuff that would be brought up but didn't make it to the main animation, like yall kept bringing up how they didn't have time eater but they showed an alternate animation during the breakdown of time eater still losing.
Me personally, I said they never brought up Time Eater because I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't in the animation since it was by far one of Eggman's biggest trump cards. So to see it in the animation at some point would have been amazing, but I am satisfied with what we were given!

Bowser didnt even have his water army or his koopalings lol. Army 100% goes to bowser. I am a huge Sonic fan, eggman is a horrible leader. Bowser is a great leader. Not to mention that once metal was out of the fight it was ggs. Bowser, kamek, king boo, and bowser jr alone I think could win this fight.
For sure, the only main gripe I have is that Kamek was underused and the other versions of metal weren’t used and the fraud Infinite was instead

It's a live first viewing, ain't no way in hell are we getting absolutely EVERYTHING, that's literally why I said "I don't buy the outcome, but I'll have to rewatch the conclusion", because I didn't process everything that was said in it because the whole watch party were gushing over the fight that just happened.

We barely made the conclusion out, there was like 5 people talking at once. I'm going through it multiple times for my review to really point out my issues. though yes salt was there, that's cuz it was a heat of the moment situation. Happens a lot in this community

Hi, guy with the Joker pfp in the video here. I'm seeing a lot of comments annoyed at us that we didn't pay attention to the conclusion, which I think is a fair argument. In our defense, we had like, seven different people talking in our ears, and a good chunk of us, obviously, were salty (myself included), which made it hard to even hear to their reasoning for Bowser winning lol. I won't say it's a good excuse since we could've, let's say, gone back and rewatched the conclusion in this video once everyone calmed down, just so y'all could see we gave it a fair shake instead of having to take our word for it. At least, that's what I plan to do when we get to the AmongGuys reaction, which I assume we're doing since the video was still generally well received.
I don't have much to say about the comments disagreeing with us about the verdict, but just a reminder, versus is subjective. Just as we have a right to believe Eggman should've won, you have just as much of a right to believe Bowser's win was deserved. There is no "correct answer." It's a huge misconception.
Actually, it’s pretty objective when it comes to versus. A lot of people like to think it’s subjective because they insert their own opinions of the characters into the battle, thus leading to a belief on who should win. This case is pretty cut and dry, as Eggman struggles against beings like the deadly six and has been shown to be fairly weak when he doesn’t have his tech, which bowser easily counters most of in base form, and Bowser can use the power of the power stars along with him and his troop being able to use all of the OP Mario items, along with them straight up having the power to steal the emeralds outright, it meant that Eggman didn’t have a lot of options that Bowser couldn’t outright counter or nullify. Like it was outlined the powers and trump cards sections, Bowser either has the abilities that Eggman’s mechs do without needing outside help, is a master of dark magic, but also has powers that Eggman has never been able to have without outside help (example: traveling through time and space) they don’t explain it very well, but it’s clear that Bowser wins, and that’s objective, not subjective.
@@EndieMusic Is that also just....not your interpretation? Everyone's going to believe they're correct when they have reasons to do so, but even when someone who is supposedly the "word of law" draws a conclusion, that doesn't settle things "once and for all" as death battle used to say. There's a reason they completely dropped that before the fight itself, so congratulations for completely missing the point of storms's message.
Yeah at the end of the day its all make believe and Stan Lee said it best, the winner is whoever the author wants it to be there is no right or wrong answer.

@ There’s the act of pulling from canon, and then the part of how you interpret it. No one’s going to come to a consensus on that once you take the source material and make your own analysis of it. What you may think is correct, someone else may not, and vise versa. Maybe it doesn’t apply to every single possible factor, but there are a good portion of feats (I turn to the galaxy 1 and 2 sun and black hole shenanigans) that no one is going to come to a mass agreement on. At the end of the day, there’s never going to be a real correct answer, because people will always find new things or argue different viewpoints to your own. That, and you never know what new material pops up and throws off your view point.
