I think the Chenille-it adds some fun and texture to a quilt. I love the way this one came out. 💗💗💗 It looks like your co-worker was sleeping on the job! lol 🐈💤🐈💤🐈 Thank you for sharing. 😊🍁🍃🍂
Hi April, Love all your videos. If you want to find the right side of fleece, stretch the cut edge and it will curl to the wrong side. Also the front should be nubby and the back should be smooth.
That's beautiful April. I will say I have found every pannel for the pannel quilts you have made on Amazon. 😁 I love your window pane quilts. I bought a Christmas pannel with horses on it and I'm going to make it into a rag quilt for my daughter for Christmas this year 😁 She is 10 and starting to ride horses now. I dont have horses anymore but a friend of mind still does... Another great project from April
Thank you so much for sharing that ... people ask where I buy them but they are out of town from where I get them ... that is awesome to know they can find on amazon! Thanks for watching April
What a cosy comfy blankie for your granddaughter and what a good idea with a panel for babies. I think if you mitred the Chenille-it at the corners like doing binding then gave it a snip once turned out it may be would have covered the corners better don’t know but it is an idea for another time x
Love your channel! You are making me smile every time I see your videos. I understand about the grandkids. I have seven and one on the way. I feel like if I make one i need to make seven. Lol.
Wow! I have 4 or 5 fleece & flannel projects that are a must get done pike before my grandkids age another year! I've never heard of chenille it (ok I've been hiding under a rock or something) 😅😅😅 Thank you for the inspiration! P.S. I have a great granddaughter who is almost 1 year old, so of course I need to do that too! Keep on posting videos please! I laugh and learn from each one! 😂🎉❤
So cute! When doing this type of project, round the corners. It's much easier to turn a round corner that getting your trim to square up. I'm out of chocolate, great-granddaughters found my stash!
I made a baby quilt something similar to your quilt, but I had the same problem too. I corrected that by putting a tied bow at the corner, that now does even show by boo boo of a big mistake
Hi April. That panel is just adorable, plus it can be used for either a boy or a girl. I've never used Chenille-it before but I like that fluffy look it gives after washing. I'd love to see the little one using it. And what's Oliver doing sleeping on the job? LOL ~~ Hugs, Lynne
Such a darling panel quilt!!!! I love the way you embellished the edges with chenille, (you really got a good deal on that chenille). Thanks so much for sharing your videos!!!!
That is one amazing quilt. You are so full of wonderful ideas. They are endless. The panel looks like what the teddy bears would be doing after the teddy bear picnic. Simply gorgeous. Thank you for taking us along. Enjoy your time with your granddaughters.
I just used that panel last year for my great nephew! I have 2 more of the same for future use 😊. Love your idea - and it will take less time than my original! Thank you!
Hello April I like watching your videos I love your skills I was wondering if you could give me some insight to making a women's handkerchief quilt out of old handkerchiefs
Never used chenille, but thought about rick rack. I have a Frozen panel and flannel for the backing. Should I put the rick rack on after I turn it out or before?
I did get my Chenille it there, but it was on clearance and I haven't seen it since. I think they stopped carrying it. Sorry. Thank you for watching. You should be able to find Dritz's version of it at Joann's. April
Here’s how to tell which side of fleece is the right side: Put your hands a few inches apart on the non selvage edge and pull. The edge should roll. It rolls inward toward the wrong side. If it doesn’t curl/roll, pick the adjacent side.
@@christinedwight6896 Over the years, I’ve made hundreds-yes, hundreds-of fleece blankets for children in Israel who are living in group homes due to family situations. I came across this tip from one of my many “internet adventures!” BTW, I now serge around fleece blankets, rather than tie them. This saves so much time!!!

Never used chenille, but thought about rick rack. I have a Frozen panel and flannel for the backing. Should I put the rick rack on after I turn it out or before?
I was thinking rickrack also. Jumbo in the seam like scallops and regular or baby size for the top stitch after turning it right side out. 🤗
I agree with @Becky Blankenship a big Rick rack and after you turn it right side out. You can use it when you top stitch all the way around.
April
Yep. I totally agree. Rick rack would look great. Especially a great big chunky one.
April
So cute!
Thank you so much!
April
Hi what are you using to wrap your fabric on for storage?
Comic board inserts ... ( I buy them from Amazon) ... I have a link in the description (hope that helps)
April
so jealous that you can even buy chenille it (not able to find it in Australia) let alone the price , oh and the quilt is very cute too
Wondered if we could get it anywhere down under, greetings from Geraldton Western Australia 🇦🇺
@@AnitaSouthall i have been able to get a roll at the quarter inch shop here in Tassie but they dont stock it any more ??
that is so sad you can't get that there ...
I am so sorry
April
maybe they can order if you guys request it ???
I hate that you don't get it there ...
April
I went to Hobby Lobby Yesterday and ask for Chenille it and they did not know what I was asking for. Did you not get it there?
I did get my Chenille it there, but it was on clearance and I haven't seen it since. I think they stopped carrying it. Sorry. Thank you for watching. You should be able to find Dritz's version of it at Joann's.
April
So cute. Not sure what chenillette is
Awww ..thank you Cathy
April
What type fleece did you use?
Just really what I pick up at hobby lobby / joanns or my local quilt shop
Thanks for your question
April
Has anyone ever used the cheap fleece throws as backing for a quilt,,, or even as batting? If so, how did it work out???
I used a pioneer woman throw once -- it wasn’t cheap -- but cute and
It was so soft
April
🥰😍🤩
I have never used chenille it
gotta try it ... game changer!
