Hey Carlitos! Thank you so much for watching my den tour! So glad you enjoy the cigar boxes! Hope you have a great week as well man! I’ll be tuning in to your conversation with Ben soon!
Thank you Joe for stopping by to watch! Really glad to hear you enjoyed the video! Ha, it's all good. Having things in order is a great feeling, especially if it's something you're passionate about. So no shame in that. Have a great day man!
Hello my friend!! Always appreciate you stopping by to watch my videos :)! And you're very welcome! Yeah, I would say too well stocked. But it's all good, it's a fun and healthy hobby. And the fiance can also enjoy those great scents, so there's that also. Hoping you have a great week and a good Christmas!
Thanks, Aaron for showing your shave den! Great passion for shave gear collection! I was impressed in your taste, less for hardwear, more for softwear, especially in soap scent! Keep it up your passion & good interpretaion of soap scent! Have a great week!
Hello Hoon! Thank you for watching my den tour! It is my pleasure to show it off! Yes, I am very passionate about my shave gear, especially the software. The soaps and scents are my favorite part of the hobby. Soon though I plan to dive deeper into razors and brushes. Thank you for your encouragement and kind words, my friend! Hope all is well over there! You have a great week as well!
Hey Jim! Thanks so much for watching my den tour! Really glad you enjoyed it. Hey man, there’s beauty in every den so have no shame haha. I’ll be keeping an eye out for you den tour video! Happy holidays to you as well brother!
Thanks so much for watching my friend! I'm really glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, I know a lot of people who have tons of brushes but I guess at the moment I just don't feel the need to have a lot of them. Like you, I just use these couple I have since they hold up really well. But there are definitely cool looking brushes out there that I've had my eye on. Maybe at some point I'll get more. Thanks again for your support and hope you enjoy your week!
Great collection! Lots of great soap to choose from each day. I was surprised to see so few razor blades; I seem to be unable to resist ordering tucks of 100 on a regular basis and so have enough for quite a few years, on hand. Your approach of more soap and less blades likely makes more sense! Thanks for the tour.
Hi Steve! Thank you so much for watching! Yep, no shortage of soap in this den haha. Yeah, I used to have a huge supply of blades but I let them run down quite a bit. Will be time for a refill soon. I think when I do I’ll buy a ton so I don’t have to worry about buying more for a while. So having a lot of blades on hand definitely makes sense to me. You’re welcome for the tour and hope you have a great week and Christmas!
Man, I love the efficiency of your den! I'm always looking to make mine more efficient. I totally need to steal the cigar box idea and put my razors in one. I love the Astra greens too.
Thanks so much for watching David! Thank you! Yeah, since my apartment isn’t that big, I wanted to reduce my den to one shelf and didn’t want to have shave stuff all over the place. I do like the way it turned out. I’m happy you liked the cigar boxes! Do it up man!! Hope you have a great day!
Thanks for the tour. I am afraid of keeping my brushes, razors, and blades in the bathroom due to the high humidity in my particular situation. I like the Astra Greens. They were the first large box that I ordered, but they aren't very long lived. I have come to prefer the Nacet blades. They cost a little bit more than Astra Greens, but I also get more shaves out of each blade. They seem a little sharper to me.
You're quite welcome! And thank you very much for stopping by! Yeah I've thought about the humidity situation. I figure the medicine cabinet blocks a lot of the moisture (hopefully) so it's all good. Once I start noticing rust I'll move them, but until then I'll just keep them in the medicine cabinet. Thanks for sharing your blade thoughts. I have heard lots of great things about Nacets. More shaves out of a blade sounds great to me. Maybe I'll snag a pack soon. Hope you have a great week!
@@dappershaves Yes, the Wizamet SI blades may be my favorites, but they are not easy to source, nor are they inexpensive. I think I have nearly 500 of them in my hoard.
@@ivermec-tin666 yes not easy to source and more expensive than others but so much better shaves and longevity. a vendor here imported 7000 so they are easier to obtain for now, I took 500 for long term storage as I shave with straights. maybe I should get a few more just in case… regards dapper shaves
Thanks so much for watching Derek! Appreciate you stopping by! Yeah, Wholly Kaw has been on my list for a while. I smelled a few of them at a store I went to a while back (including fougere bouquet) and really like it. I also liked merchant of tobacco. Thanks for reminding me about them. I'm sure soon I'll purchase one of them. Enjoy your day!
@@WesternRAM Thanks for the encouragement man! I'm sure at some point soon I'll pick one up. Would love to review it. Thanks again man and enjoy your night!
Thanks so much for watching Randel! Yeah, I do enjoy the van yulay soaps I have a lot (puros La Habana and Poseidon). Her scent selection is crazy, I look forward to trying more of them soon. Have a great week!
Happy to hear you enjoyed it there! I’m jealous, I still have yet to venture out there to visit. I totally love their website and all the products they offer. Definitely one of my top companies in wetshaving. I especially love all the soap samples they offer.
Thanks for watching Razor Blade! Yeah really, that one is quite unusual. But somehow it works. I think if someone smelled the aftershave and they didn’t know what it was supposed to smell like, they would say it smells like sprite. I’m happy you like the cigar box idea! Go for it! Have a great week and holiday!
Hi Kirill! Thanks so much for watching my den tour! And you're very welcome, it's my pleasure! I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed my cigar box idea! I hope you have a great new year!
Thanks for showing your setup and collection. I’m glad I haven’t had an interest in collecting soaps/scents as that’s almost endless. I am in the hunt for the best razor though. Which is your favorite thus far and why?
Thanks so much for watching! You’re very welcome! Yeah you’re not kidding…it’s a deep rabbit hole. Luckily I’ve slowed down A LOT and haven’t been purchasing many soaps nowadays. It gets to a point where it gets a bit ridiculous, and you look at your collection and think “wow, that is an absurd amount of soap and aftershave”. I also just don’t have the closet space/money. I’m not a razor enthusiast by any means, but my top two right now are the muhle r41 and the maggard v3a razor head. Both are pretty aggressive but I prefer that due to my coarse facial hair. They are also very affordable. Thanks again for stopping by and hope you have a great day!
It’s funny but we went in opposite directions. You went with software and I went with hardware. I had maybe four tubs of soap and two brushes but fifty razors and thousands of blades. I have since gotten many more brushes, like twenty I’d guess and about the same in soaps. Most recently, I’ve been interested in aftershave and have been focused on getting sets. Many soap fragrances don’t last long and I want to enjoy the scents I like for longer. Very interesting tour. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching Eric! Yeah, one of the beautiful things about this hobby is that each person sort of has their "area" and mine is definitely software. I guess because the scents are a big part of what drew me into the hobby, so naturally I ended up with a lot of soap and splash. I agree about the sets, I want the scents to last as long as possible. But since I've started adding more razors recently, it's easy to see why you guys fall in love with them. There are things I love about each one of them. Very cool you added some brushes to your collection. I want to get more soon as well, specifically a higher quality badger. Have a great Christmas man!
Hello Glenn I appreciate you stopping by to watch! Thanks for the kind words, I am very glad to hear you enjoy my den setup! The cigar boxes are great. Hopefully they never lose that great smell! Have a great week and a merry christmas!
Nice shave den Aaron you have a solid collection! My issue is, I fall so deeply in love with certain items, it’s hard for me to use others. Whether it be razors, blades, brushes, soaps, etc. So surprisingly my collection is extremely sparse, which I’m okay with. Just interesting to see everyone’s items! Loved the video merry Christmas Oh and I’m definitely going on eBay and buying some cigar boxes now lol
Hey Dave!! Thanks so much brother for checking out my den tour! I’m happy to hear you enjoy my stuff! Yeah I agree with you. Happy you liked the cigar boxes too! Merry Christmas to you as well man! Hope it’s a good one!

Hi Robert, thanks so much for watching! Yeah, even with your amount you should be set. There's definitely no need to go all out like I did. However I don't regret the money I've spent, since I know it's going to support the artisan soap makers. I definitely need to buy less stuff in 2023 though. Hope you have a great week!
