Having owned an A5 Sportback and A4 Allroad from this same generation, I have to politely disagree with your comments about the placement of the cruise control stalk. Having that function - including lane-keep assist - on an easily accessible stalk keeps them within reach and keeps the steering wheel free of tons of buttons. That is one feature of modern car design I loathe: filling steering wheels with so many buttons and text it looks like a Dr. Bronner’s bottle.
I am 6'2" and I can fit comfortably in the back, it's just a matter of how far the front row seat is positioned back that your leg room may be compromised
Exactly right. I'm 6' & my son is 6-2... he fits comfortably back there. Indeed, it's why we went S5 > S4... simply because he had more leg room. His nugget is really no closer to the headliner, but he does have to duck & weave the roof swoop getting in & out lol. My guess is if someone is 6'+, it comes down to torso length vs. leg length. For us, it was all about that rear leg room... that we got a (mini-)minivan/CUV for the footprint of a car... plus also approximate interior dimensions made the 5 a done deal.
It nearly offends me that US-domestic companies turn a blind eye to such low-hanging fruit. I realize that I say this, as the same companies have been TRYING to get out of car sales for the last 5 years... but Audi doesn't even market the Sportback hard, yet it's the top seller of the three 5 models.
I traded in my 2021 TTRS for a 2023 S5 Prestige Sportback, with the S sport package. Not nearly as fun or quick as the TTRS, however with all of the additional options and much more practical than my RS I made the right choice. My wife will again ride with me in this vehicle. My Rt foot had a poor relationship with the RS, oftentimes doubling the posted speed limit by two times.😂
Love my 2022 Audi S5 sportback. Just got done upgrading the intercooler and intake, as well as suspension mount. Cant wait to tune it next. Absolute blast to drive
I have taken Audi Car Care for the first 4 years. Would they refuse to honor it if I do the tune?
@@sujitroutray1 they could. I take my care to a German car shop, cheaper and better service. If I need warranty work he can set it back to stock before I take it in

Nice review….love me some sportback sedans…the coupe styling with more practicality is an awesome combo…Audi’s sportbacks, bmw gran coupes and Kia stinger are great looking vehicles

This thing is borderline undriveable in comfort mode. Audi dynamic is basically equivalent to bmw comfort.
