I REALLY enjoy looking at all the original mechanics in this game. A great blend platform fighting and traditional fighting DNA. Was hesitant, but now I am looking forward to this game. 😁

The lifebar where it shows PSI is a little confusing it looks like it ticks down then fills back up
I feel like there’s way too many things that utilize the defensive gauge. I gotta keep getup attacks in mind?? Unless they’re different from regular platformer getup attacks and is as strong as reversals. I think it should just stay with air dodge, air tech and reversals and make there be less bars

Only uncool thing is the need to put Fox and Falcon in every platform fighter. People need to stop copying Smash and make their own identity

Not really. It’s pretty clear who they’re trying to emulate.
People are drawn to new games by playing familiar archetypes. If you can understand why there’s a shoto in many fighting games, you should be able to get where I’m coming from. imo jingo and achilles are distinct enough to not be an issue

Agreed, everything else looks pretty good though but the characters are kinda ugly lol. But maybe they will grow on me overtime.
Jingo is short and stubby but achilles looks great and has hype comboes imo.

Concept of the game sounds awesome. The character design execution is a bit meh.
Hate to say it but this looks DoA. Focusing too much on the competitive side is what killed Icons: Combat Arena. It’s basically all mechanics but no vision.
Well that's because the video is focusing ON the competitive side and mechanics. On the other end there's a ton of modes that appeal to the more casual players and an interesting story which I think people will like. The biggest reason we didn't cover that side is cause... Well we were covering the mechanics 😅
