Where a child who was taken by the steward/captain as a protegee try to discover the government secret about how the vote for the end of the civil war was manipulated, while avoiding the government enforcers trying to maintain the truth hidden.
Not just Unit 731 did this kind of "research". Yes they were more brutal than the German counterpart but at least they didn't distuinguish between ancestry or religion when it came to victims. Which in my book is more respectable. Still, what they did was unforgivable don't get me wrong

I am proud to say that, after seeing your no generator run and being inspired by the prologue challenge, I was able to successfully beat the Prologue on Captain difficulty without the dreadnought generator! I did have to pause and flick it on and off to complete the objective, but I never used it for any heating purposes! Thanks for inspiring the idea and challenge, I've been having loads of fun with Frostpunk 2 and finding new ways to beat it in an unintended manner only makes me enjoy it more. ^^

I don’t yet know if it works indefinitely and if it would work in the rest of the campaign, but it does work long enough in the prologue. If you’re curious on seeing it in action, I did record a video of it and posted it to my channel!

That's not that cold I dont speak Celsius but I do know 0 is 32 in F therefore i assume 17C is at least 50F therefore all you need is thick socks and you'll be fine

For anyone thinking of getting this game, you don't need to be quite so hands off in the end game to maintain good standing and get the special event. The option for ending fighting while doing that path is specifically that you're separating out the radical factions from each other trying to use a minimum of violence. If you do one of the other paths you'll notice that you have other options that cost less guards, but also kill people or cause other problems. Also shoutout to this man for getting higher trust while never turning on the generator than I did in my standard playthrough, and also having less problems during the whiteout.

Ok so, the heating hub doesn’t GENERATE heat, and that’s an important distinction. It only lowers heat demand in the districts it’s connected to. The problem with this, is that it cannot ever provide heat for the central habitat. You can get heat to zero in districts with adjacency bonuses + laws, but you NEED heat dispensers to heat the central district

When I play the Frostpunk games, I always wonder how people manage to survive in the frostland without a generator. After all, people in the city start dropping like flies when a whiteout hits. Now I understand.
this is my first time seeing frostpunk 2 and when i saw the pilgrims i was like “wow these guys are based” then they started getting absolutely blazed on oil and now i’m like “WOW these guys are BASED”
The heating hub also provides heat too. Have a strip of varying hubs with two lined up districts and on either side, each hub will impact 4 total districts for peak efficiency 🤓-me lol
