Any faction with artillary can steal artillary from an enemy army of the same race. Back in warhammer two, farming revolts was a viable strategy for certain factions in the very early game for both loot and the chance for early cannons or trebs or plagueclaws. You might not have seen it because you need an empty slot in your army, and is only something like 10% chance.

Do other people notice that the Elector Count Screen is broken? I'm pretty sure it's been broken since release, it's gone through a few different stages and various issues, but it's still broken... Why is it still broken? For anyone who doesnt realize, just look at the south of the Empire, Solland isnt coloured in, only one of the 3 regions in Wissenland is coloured in, the Minor Settlement in Averland is also not coloured in, and niether is the southmost Vampire Count Settlement, pretty sure it's schwatzefan. I really hope they at least fix it in the next DLC, which includes Empire, I think it'd be weird not to have it fixed after that.
Now all I wish is an ability to have other races in the empire as Elector Count's if they are there and they just replace whoever they killed. Just imagine a game where Festus, One-Eye, any Skaven Faction, Dwarves and Cathay were all part of the elector counts with Karl Franz as the emperor. Soooooo much chaos but so fun.
Stealing artillery is a mechanic for all factions. You just need to fight the same race as yours, have empty space in your army and an artillery piece in theirs to steal.

However it got nerfed a lot (base chance nerfed, increased chance due to corruption nerfed, increased chance via tech tree nerfed, and from skill tree nerfed as well). Both chance of ressurection and HP of ressurected troops btw. So even with all the maximum buffs possible to ressurection, getting back more than 50% of an army is very rare, and is now decently beaten up (tho if they get resplenishment and then raise dead they can fix and patch up their losibg armies with trash to keep pressure on.

When you're surrounded by enemies, both potential and actual, it's best to be thorough when it comes to unifying the Empire. And by "thorough" I mean become Canadian and turn the Geneva Convention into a checklist.
man they gotta reduce the upkeep on those state units... they are only barely better but sometimes cost more than double the upkeep of the normal version... or change the state troops entirely, maybe giving different bonusses depending on in which empire state you recruited a unit to all units
In the previous update you need to appoint your electors, otherwise no special units The new update remove the civil war and changing into how high or low the people of the empire feel about you. It also add new powerfull machination, the best one is, for just 1500 prestige, be able to insta recruit in a select army the troops queed ( can be upgraded ) You can recruit 2 mercenary units...yeahy i guess But the elector council is still the same Forgot to add, you can also use prestige to improve/decrease relation with extra faction
the reason that gelts army routed despite them still having a lot of usable units is do to how the game calculates army losses, because you did a lot of damage without many of your units being damaged, army losses kicked in sooner than if you had done a pitched battle, where both sides ran at each other. the artillery captured part is not an empire mechanic, any race with artillery can have it happen, however there are some rules, if i remember correctly, at least one cannon must survive(the actual gun, not the unit) so if you trying to get a piece of artillery, it's best to use calvery to kill the units manning the guns, second you must have a free slot in your army, and third it must be a battle with the same race as yours. Lastly, its around a 5-10% chance for it to occur, so i would not count on it happening to reinforce your army, unless you are going out of your way to farm it, such as letting the units manning the guns flee and not finishing the army to allow you to try and get multiple chances.

The main strat for empire as karl was sacking fort for free mortars, but CA in one patch delete mortars from level one fort so RIP

man they gotta reduce the upkeep on those state units... they are only barely better but sometimes cost more than double the upkeep of the normal version... or change the state troops entirely, maybe giving different bonusses depending on in which empire state you recruited a unit to all units

In the previous update you need to appoint your electors, otherwise no special units
The new update remove the civil war and changing into how high or low the people of the empire feel about you.
It also add new powerfull machination, the best one is, for just 1500 prestige, be able to insta recruit in a select army the troops queed ( can be upgraded )
You can recruit 2 mercenary units...yeahy i guess
But the elector council is still the same
Forgot to add, you can also use prestige to improve/decrease relation with extra faction

the reason that gelts army routed despite them still having a lot of usable units is do to how the game calculates army losses, because you did a lot of damage without many of your units being damaged, army losses kicked in sooner than if you had done a pitched battle, where both sides ran at each other.
the artillery captured part is not an empire mechanic, any race with artillery can have it happen, however there are some rules, if i remember correctly, at least one cannon must survive(the actual gun, not the unit) so if you trying to get a piece of artillery, it's best to use calvery to kill the units manning the guns, second you must have a free slot in your army, and third it must be a battle with the same race as yours. Lastly, its around a 5-10% chance for it to occur, so i would not count on it happening to reinforce your army, unless you are going out of your way to farm it, such as letting the units manning the guns flee and not finishing the army to allow you to try and get multiple chances.
