Mayuri is my favorite captain, and he tends to get downplayed alot. But to see you give him the respect he deserves makes me so happy. He is so underrated when it comes to powerscaling and people always assume he would just get blitzed or he always needs prep time. Which is obviously not the case. 10/10 video 🔥
This is lowkey pretty nice scaling for Toshiro too since it confirms Toshiro going Bankai can both blitz and one shot Mayuri. This same Mayuri that can fight and react to a Perninda that adapted to Kenpachi's power level. Which makes sense considering Bankai Toshiro 1 v 1'd God sized Gerard for a bit while the others were taken out by him. So even without his Adult form, Toshiro is on that top tier captain/elite Sternritter level
@@shonenkon2456 Toshiro literally blitzed and killed him multiple times over when going Bankai. Mayuri's drug played out the reality of what would happen. The same Mayuri that was causally reacting to Perninda who adapted to Kenpachi etc That and Toshiro wasn't using Shunpo or his own flight speed either. And we know that his flight combat speed could let him not get tagged by Gerard for an extended period of time while this same Gerard tagged Shikai Kenpachi with his eye patch off who was actively trying to dodge It's pretty consistent. Whole reason why I brought it up was because Toshiro's pre Adult form/Immature Bankai scaling in the war is always overlooked/downplayed, but un-ironically, he's on the upper tier of captains even before Mature Bankai I'd do a video on I myself but I don't have the editing capabilities to show panels without getting negged by RUclips so I just speak on it in comments. Helps other RUclipsrs channels and gets some info out there for an underrated character
The scariest thing about Mayuri is that he hates fighting and violence, yet in all his fights you can tell he has skills and combat ability even without the science and gadgets. If he ever spent more time actually in the field or training, he would be more complete and dangerous.
I rank him higher than 8th. I'd say 5th. Why I say that is. Think about what he can do. Yes is his spirit energy on the average captain level sure is. But tools, knowledge, strategies, and infinite counters to nearly all abilities or powers he faces. With barely 20 minutes of prep, I don't see anyone really standing a chance. You'd need above and beyond power like Kenny or Yama, where you'd crush him with spiritual pressure or have a beast like will to kill. He'd be able to switch fights against the royal quincy guards and win against everyone, but Gerald. But then again, maybe he could. He basically won the war single-handedly. Countered the zombie, beat the soul kings arm, easily beat espada. I'd say only Uquliora would stand a chance. He's legit, my favorite character, without a doubt. And he gets no respect when he's no joke. At the series end. He's the 3rd strongest captain behind Shunsui and Kenny. But I'd say Mayuri probably beats them in a 1v1. Due to poison, strategy, and tools. But that's a big if.
Bro my hubby mayuri kurotsuchi is a fuckign goat his so godly he is my favorite character in the entire series. He may be a psycho but he acutally cares about the soul society and the members in it even though it doesn't always seem like it his experiments he does are to benefit the soul society. Oh an ps he is the hottest member of the soul society bro I know he hates being perfect but his still hot without ears .
is not the we underrate him is that during SS ishida literally stated that his Reaitsu was unstable so we can assume he is the lowest tier of Grade 3 and his fight with Szayel seems to prove that as Szayel should be the lowest of Grade 3 in the Espada with Zommari at Mid, Grimmjow at High and Nnoitra at Top, with Ulquiorra and above being Grade 2. in the Bloodwar arc he did get more powerful and had reaitsu on par with Toshiro pre Adult but his combat instinct are low.

How is TYBW mayuri being above ~ in speed to Toshiro without the use of Heirienkyaku mean Toshiro can blitz him in bankai.
