How am I STILL learning new things?! Ancient fruit artifact from a deconstructor?? Kissing spouse restores energy?? I didn't know these.
Kissing your partner doesn't restore energy, it just gets rid of the exhaustion mark.
I know right

I've always liked winter.
It is way less stressful than the other three seasons so I can tend to my animals, produce artisan goods or harvest wood.
Winter is also the best opportunity to work on your farm layout. Things like creating new fields (with sprinklers) or new paths.
Or going to the mines 😃
@@Lando_HotelStory
Yeah, that as well.
Winter is also a good time to befriend the people in Pelican Town. Save some of your crops to give them away in winter.
Or maybe you already have the greenhouse. Then you could produce seeds for next spring. I have done that with strawberries and ancient seeds for example.
Yeah, I feel the same way. Winter has so much potential, I do not get people who sleep through it. Seems like a waste of time.
Its best to just mine in winter
People forget about the bug cave in the sewers. Leave it for some time and go get fiber and bug meat.
just completed the 100 bug meat quest and totally forgot about this ☠️
@Sofia da Costa shame you wouldve been able to finish it in like 3-4 days with the burglar ring
for farming weeds and mixed seeds, go to level 80 (or 20) in the mines and reset level 81 as that floor has the most weeds usually (i think) :)
To adress two parts of the video at once: Your first winter can be more profitable than your first fall (potentially even more profitable than your first three seasons combined). Just make sure you get the fiber seed recipe through the Community Cleanup special order and spend your winter planting tons of wild winter seeds and fiber seeds. Sell your first round of them before the first year is over, that way you can purchase wood extremely cheaply from Robin. I had a run where I started year 2 with 25k wood (while also spending some of my earnings on other stuff and was already in the process of "kegging it up"), and that's obviously the excess that didn't get turned into tea saplings.
The bottle neck for fiber are mixed seeds, as it was so rightly stated in the video, but as long as you are smart enough to not just plant them and do a few fiber runs in the mines that'll also yield seeds, you can go completely nuts with the tea sapling strategy while also being ready for your 663 deluxe retaining soil so you can fill every spot on Ginger Island with ancient seeds without ever having to water them once you get there.
You need the gold clock to reach perfection in the game, but I agree that it's not worth it until you're at that point.
I farm winter seeds for foragables (later to make tea tree saplings) and do runs in the skull cavern to get iridium in winter. Second year on, I go for making my perfect Ginger Island farm with fairy rose honey and ancient fruit for wine.
Great video! Unfortunately, I have made many of these mistakes in past playthroughs, but at least now I know better. Also, kissing your spouse relieves exhaustion?? I never knew that one! Just another reason to get married, I guess.
You take Scout to get the 2nd tier ability that reduces the time it takes for your special move to recharge. If you're using a hammer, this is God Tier due to the ability to stack hits by mashing on the attack button during the special animation. You can one shot most enemies if you land it right. It also works in tandem with the enchantment that lowers your recharge for your special.
Much like forester it's a good idea to take fighter in the early game, but then respec and take scount at some point in the mid game once you get a decent hammer.
If you're min maxing, every crop is better in either a preserve jar or keg. If it produces juice, put it in a preserve jar, if it produces an alcoholic beverage, put it n a keg.
Thank you for the extra content! I've been waiting for this!
I mean you can:
One head to cinder island and use the farm there as your weed farm (for fiber people)
Or just take the time to plant fiber seeds, you say it's hard to make but it ain't really hard for me
The hard part is making enough grass so that the farm animals won't eat it all up then go after the hay before winter (rain days exception)
Haymaker enchantment nets you 500+ fiber in like half a day of resetting floor 80. A few runs of that and you've got multiple stacks. Plus, the hay you no longer need to buy from Marnie and mixed seed drops.
Funny Fact: I am at the end of year three but NEVER found an ancient fruit seed in the mines, and I was there a lot of times on the bug levels. But you know where I got it from? Strawberries. To prepare for third spring I put 150 Strawberries in the seed maker and got 4 ancient fruit seeds from it. I guess this is a win.
I wonder how that works it must be super rare to get ancient seeds from seed makers but still its awesome
@@afriend4835 as I said, 150 Strawberries in seed makers.
Bugs in the mines, artifact spots, fishing treasure chests, artifact troves, seed makers are all ways to obtain them.
You can also get your fiber from the Desert Merchant! That's what I have been doing. Save up the stone from the mines and then on Tuesday 5 stone per fiber
Trade your rubies for staircases, put them in deconstructers, use the stone to buy fiber.
@@PekiNim You mean jade
For the golden clock:
Certain floors of the mines have ridiculous amount of weeds in them. You will get WAY more seeds from just going back and forth in there.
The bug cave in the sewers also has a TON of fiber just harvest it everyday and you’ll have like 1000 in no time
The trash bears second demand happemed to be the mango rice thing and i JUST got a mango tree......
I get the point of the golden clock, but I don't think it's worth it. I suggest hoarding all your Mixed Seeds you get from day 1 just for Fiber seeds, and then just repeat the process since the Fiber grown from the seeds will drop some Mixed Seeds as well. The debris on the farm aren't much to really get a good amount of Fiber, and not even counting that it will also spawn logs and rocks (and god I hate repairing those fences lol).
Hey, great content! I love it! Keep it up!
With combat lvl 5, you go scout rather than fighter as then at lvl 10 you have the option of acrobat which is very good to have
Well the clock also stop fences from decaying
i dont have the golden cocktail yet. does it both effects your farm and ginger island ?
Thanks for this very good video
Wait you can break the bushes?? Do you have to have an iridium axe to do that?
i think steel axe is enough
I’ve never used retaining soil before, it doesn’t seem very useful when you can just use sprinklers, unless you’re on the beach farm I guess
If you use a deluxe retaining soil in a pot... you won't need to rewater it any more than once
Golden clock still worth it for the flex.
True!
that's why I have it
Yeah, if you can afford a gold clock, then you probably already have tons of sprinklers anyway. Unless you’re playing the beach farm and running a truffle oil empire or something.
Either way, you can also hit up the mutant bug lair for some fiber.
I'm tired of weeds destroying my floor. Looking foward for the clock.
the spouse kissing is new to me, thank you!!!
Where do you get the deconstructer
lmao, i wish we could kiss away our exhaustion like that in real life. cute
I still need a dino egg and cannot find one. I’m in year 4 and it’s the only thing I need to complete the museum. Very frustrating.
Just a nice little story i have about ancient fruit seeds.
So i got my first one. So great! Well... UNTIL LIGHTNING DESTROYED IT.
haven't planted one since ;)
Crazy that youre at 140k subs by now. You had a couple thousand only a year ago.
I'm on my first playthrough right now I found it easy to upgrade my watering can the day before it rains. That way when it's finished I'll need it again
Ha, when I play with my husband we never marry each other in game. He always marries Penny. 😂
🤨
If you get ancient fruit seed before the artifact then just put that seed in deconstructor. You'll get the artifact which you can donate at museum and get another seed along with the recipe to make the seed from the artifact. No need to first grow the seed which you acquired earlier.
Does the exhaustion work with Krobus? 😂
7:03 recognized death by glamour
How do I purposely chop down a bush I've only ever been able to chop down 1 and even then its a rare thing for me to get the ability to
Love the Lud and Schlatts Musical Emporium Music!
Edit: 6:57 wtf your kid do?
How do i plant fiber?
Scout>>Acrobat is OP Proffesion mixed with Artful on the Galaxy Hammer. You one shot everything with very little cooldown. I would respec into this for endgame.
I did buy gold clock in stardew but it was no misstake had to much money and needed it to 100 percent game
FIFTH TIP IS SO SWEET I HAD NO IDEA
Wait did she say not fish well I don't think it takes anytime to upgrade a fishing rode
wait ... u guys don't process all your produce? like, all the time? o.o
Lud and Schlatt ost omg
Don't destroy the golden clock since it helps to not decay fences which can be a pain otherwise
Your video is very good
What’s the reason to use deluxe retaining soil
So you don’t have to water your crops. It’s great for garden pots because then you don’t have to water them everyday, or ever!
i have a tip: THINK AHEAD! get water retaining soil to plant your seeds in case of a watering can upgrade. get a bunch of cherry bombs for mining in case of a pick upgrade.
I built the golden clock and now I’m collecting every hat in the game 😅which mean I can’t find living hat so I find out I need to destroy the golden clock but I want to know what’s gonna happen when I destroy it so thanks ezlilyy ❤
My pleasure 🌸
I really have to go back to stardew after watching all these video
Lily I just want you to know that Terraria has a Junimo in the new update!!
Oooh!
That is so cool!
I had no idea
Gold clock is awesome I dislike weeds just grow the seeds or use the mines for fiber
I made a mistake by choosing rancher for lvl 5 farmer
For winter just winter forage farm
The mistake that really makes my angry is accidentally bombing my farm lol
What's the music at 7:49 ?
Death by Glamor from Undertale

When weeding I always leave 1 or 2. They will spawn more weeds. So every week I go around weeding esp. behind Joja mart and beside the Community Center. If you clear it out completely nothing comes back. Good for the early game before you get Fiber seeds
