@james howlett This 'some random youtube channel' has 13.4 milliong subs.
@james howlett shoulda added a /s
@james howlett indicate it is sarcastic
@@ferretforrent1144 And that is still a size so insignificant to a corporation the size of Dell that they won't even think twice. And, in reality, of that 13.4 million, only about 1/10th to 1/15 watch the videos on average. Which is already a number so small to a corporation the size of Dell that any negative effect it's likely to have is within a rounding error. And, let's face it. Of that...say, 0.9-1.8 million viewers, only a small percentage of them are in the market for a computer or laptop during any one particular year. And, between that time frame and the sheer number of videos, the majority of those people will pretty much just remember, "Huh, LTT does a lot of videos about Dell" rather than any particular detail.
Pretty much the worst consequence that will happen out of this is that the PR rep that sampled the device to LTT might get reprimanded or fired. Otherwise, Dell really just doesn't care. For every 1 person that learns anything of value from this video, there's thousands that will just go to Dell to buy a laptop because there was one that was cheap and because Dell is a huge manufacturer, so "they have to be good, right?".

Now that is a sentence.

@@MrNicoJacAh, but a paragraph can be made up of one sentence, am I correct?
@@gamerleal9265
Technically, no it cannot.
A sentence should cover one idea/thing/part. By contrast, a paragraph should contain how the idea/thing relates to the wider context. (speaking in the broadest sense of what those words can mean)
Therefore, whenever a paragraph is one sentence, it's actually a badly-written and underdeveloped paragraph. It's incomplete.

Maybe it's just me but I love the keyboard on my Lenovo Y545 (front-load like the Alienware) You don't have to press the key down a bit before it has any effect, the instant it moves, the action happens (moving, jumping, etc.). @Linus: Did you try out key combinations like WASD + arrow keys? Some 3 key combinations don't work - there is a ghosting problem. It only detects 2 keys pressed at the same time for W + D + right arrow, for example. Dell Alienware support isn't being super helpful in this regard. Ah yes, my mushy silicone dome dell keyboard is a mechanical if I call it a mechanical keyboard
Reminds me of Razer's marketing nonsense of "Mecha-membrane". I mean, I'll take it over just membrane but come on.
@@monkeywithocd I bought one of those thinking it was a cheap mechanical keyboard. I hated it so much I ended up giving it to a friend
@@marcusmeyer3266 Unfortunately since I use one of those gaming keypad things (currently using the Tartarus V2) I don't have any other options unless I went with a second-hand product. The only other option from Razer is one with analog keys which would mean no tactile actuation point which, having used things like the c64 keyboard, is not something I'm going to put up with since I know I'd get absolutely no use out of the analog capability.
@@monkeywithocd Razers mecha membrane are very tactile rubberdomes with a leafspring to make the sound.
"I appreciate the little extra bit of effort"
I appreciate your application of ISO 9000 management standards. It's frustrating to have an employer who smacks you down (or just fires you outright, in my case) for showing a gram of initiative.
2:20 I lost it! Totally nailed it!
16:30 Probably the best feature of this thing. Who needs a friggen trackpad?
I'll be sad for the day my MSI GT83-VR is outdated. It also has a full Cherry MX Brown keyboard.
