Skatepark is located at Keating Street, next to the footy field (Donald MacDonald Reverse).
This skatepark is a simple skatepark but sometimes the simple things in life are the best! We start on the quarter pipe I'm glad that they made this really wide and a decent height, it’s around 5 foot tall and around 15 meters long. It also has a grass mound next to it that was fun to play on.
Then may I direct your attention to the center of the park where you will find a classic ledge, nothing fancy just a perfect across and down ledge, unless you go up it and then it’s an up and across ledge.
We keep heading in that direction and you will find a tiny quarter that we skated it out of the park! I know it is a little unconventional but that’s how we roll.
Over to the p-rail. It’s a short little thing and really low, it gave me lots of confidence to try anything on because of it’s stumpy short nature.
And laying beside this chote pole is a fanny pad, did I just say fanny pad, I meant Manny Pad, sorry.
Wrapped in angle iron you can grind, roll, jump and have hours of fun here.
