Odd question. What does the crystal discriminator do? As I have a PRC-77 chassis without one and one with one. I’d greatly appreciate any help with this. And a radio frequency scanner I’m using can’t seem to pick up any transmissions from my radio, I hear the static stop on the scanner when I Key the Mic but no audio comes out.

Perhaps TM11-5820-667-12 would help you, I did fix the glitch on mine one by this manual
