  • I'm not a mechanic so I'm not responsible if you break your machinery.
If you have a GC series like mi GC1710 don't forget to clean the transmission suction filter whit solvent or kerosene and let it dry completely.

Hello. I bought my 1710 in 2018 and it just rolled over 300 hours. Your videos are very helpful. Thankyou from North Eastern Ontario.

Thanks Mr T Bear. Very good tip and I can see that someone could easily neglect to clean the filter. You did a good video on this procedure. Thanks. It makes it much easier for me when I see someone had already do this before. Nicely done. Thumbs up.

Changed hyd oil in my GC2300 today and also removed the hydraulic suction filter to clean it like you showed. Some glad I did, man was it dirty. I have over 850 hours on the tractor and this was the 1st time I checked this thanks to you!!!

Thanks for doing a video on this screen .This is the first video that i've seen on the screen being cleaned everyone else just says to do it or that they did it but don't show how they did so thanks for showing and telling us how it's done.

I know I saw this video before but am about to change the oil myself. I had the dealer did the original change but your video explains the oil change well. Did you buy new rubber gaskets or did you reuse the old gaskets? I'll do the work once I get room in the tractor shed to lay down on the floor. Man, crawling on the floor hurts now (haha). I remember I used to get on the floor and spring back up like a young man. Not any more (smile). Thumbs up. 👍

Was yours dirty when you did the 50 hour cleaning of the screen? Mine was clean as whistle. Just wondering if that’s ok

Forgot to remove this when i drained my transmission fluid. Can I do this after the fact without draining all of the transmission fluid or too late?

Good question I think you will have to wait until next oil change because I don't think there some valve to stop it from draining it self .

No need to remove the wheel, it will easily come out without removing the wheel, much easier

Maybe but I needed to oil some control I ride on the road whit it in whiter and there allot of salt that make some part to rust.
When I did mi 50 hour oil change mi mechanic(from mi Massey Ferguson dealer) did it and show me every thing to do to and he told me to remove the wheel, he thought me allot of stuff, thing I would not thing about. He's a really good mechanic. If you it remove you have better access to every thing.
