One of best restoration on YT !!
Top notch rebuild! I am looking into getting into rebuilding trailers. Just something to do on the weekends away from web development. I want to learn new skills.
Bushings was one area you cheeped out on and it does come back to you if you use this trailer a lot. You put the nylon bushings in and iv done that as well nice quite ride but they wear through. For not that much more you can get bronze bushings and what a difference that made for me. 2004 trailer I did them once with nylons around 2010 and once with bronze around 2013 never had to touch them again.
Nice ! It would be good seeing it back at work . Perhaps a box on the front for tie downs etc
Great job! AND you know exactly whst you have! & satisfaction in a job well done. As with so many thingin a redo, we get over budget!
AWESOME job on the re-due, I would love to have that trailer, could have used it to go get my daughters car a couple days ago.
Thanks man! It's ready to go to work, just needs a new owner now 😎
Excellent job fun to watch
Cool Bean's.... Would absolutely be grateful for a trailer like this!!!

enjoyed your resto series however, how much is a new pj trailer just like it?
You did a great job 👍 no pin stripping. Kidding
No pin striping this time! I think it looks cleaner without 👌
This is great Bro I've been following your build. I'm up here in Niagara Falls and I'm doing the same as you with an old trailer. I wish I could post pics here to show you.
Anyways, wicked spin on an oldie!
That's awesome man, thank you! Hit me up on Instagram, I'd love to see progress pictures! Happytrailersales on Insta
Great job restoring that fledbed trailer 👍
Hey I live in Caddo Mill, few miles for you and I have weird small trailer that I love more than anything because it served me good working on some really tough jobs, do you what to look at it for laughs, it’s foldable and everywhere I go people have a crack at it. I want to know it it’s possible to restore it and make it really cool and seriously durable.
Anyways, great show
That sounds really cool! Definitely need to bring it by so we can see it!
Came out lookin siick bro 🔥🔥
Thanks dude! I'm pumped with how it turned out 😎
I didn’t realize trailers had to have same restoration as a automobile. Great work.
lol
Dang. nice work sir. I have a small trailer that I would like to get restored. I bought it in 1972 when I was about 10 years old
That's so cool! That's definitely an old trailer. It's never too late!
@@HappyTrailerSales looks like I'll have to get y'all do the work. My wheelchair just does not get underneath trailers anymore
Did you make that spare tire carrier?
It's actually called a stake pocket spare tire mount! It drops right into the stake pocket and is bolted in.
I can appreciate bringing old trailers back but jesus man. I bought a heavier new 2023 18 footer with a tool box for $5,200. I mean if its your dream trailer cool but thats a ton of money
Hey man I just picked a used car trailer and the trailer tire have some camber while hard turning on uneven terrain with a load. Is this “normal” for a tandem axle? Or are my axles bent? Otherwise the tire drive straight down the road with and without a load. Any help would be appreciated.
Hey sir! You'll always notice some camber while you're turning or going over terrain, that's just the suspension doing its job. If you start noticing tire wear on the inside of your tires, that's a sign of a bent axle. Also, if the tire is cambered without a load, that means the axle is bent. I hope this helps!
@@HappyTrailerSales thank you so much that’s the answer I need it
Are these videos ads? Seems to always be the same brand PJ trailers
Wow ,gotta do more of the work your self to cut the cost eh!😅
This definitely wasn't the cheapest restoration out there 😂 it was a fun project though!
No way I'd spend that on an old trailer, I bought a brand new 22ft 14k trailer, led lights, steel floor, bulldog hitch, elec brakes, 12k winch with remote for $3,000
Brand new?? I'd love to know where.
Cap
Where id like to see that
