What's confusing about the Legend of Zelda timeline? It just to be a mass of tiny connections and vague implications, but since they went and released a canon timeline it's a pretty straight forward (and rather boring) affair.
Belmont in the manga mentions he befriended Jiren's master when he was just starting out, which makes it even stranger that he would already be training a replacement. Maybe every universe governs itself in slightly different ways, which is why 7 had five kais while most had one. And maybe 11 gets a new hakaishin every quarter of a million years, which is part of why Belmont is weaker than Jiren. Or Dragonball makes up too much off the cuff.

Zane Yates Marron is a midget like Krillin so I can see that. At this moment trunks and Goten are what 12 and 11? They still are short because their saiyan genes. Goku wasn’t shown growing just small then timeskip and he’s tall. Gohan is anything is the weird one by growing slowly

Actually, that a good way to explain a lot of the weird things that doesn´t make sense, someone collected the dragon balls, and suddenly there were dinosaurs, or robots, or whatever. After all, the reason King Furry is the ruler of earth, is because an ancestor of him gathered the dragon balls and wished to rule the earth.
I hope you do more of this. Because I am still so confused by the fact that in history of trunks, Trunks was 14 and right now super Trunks is 14. They do not look the same at all. By that I mean Trunks should look similar to his future counter part at 14.

Justin Barker Any living creature can get god ki by training including saiyans except when a saiyan gets god ki it reacts to their body by changing it's base appearance which is why Goku's hair doesn't go up in super saiyan god but changes colour. Saiyans have cells that react to different ki types and abilities. Look at Ultra Instinct The angels have it all the time and they don't get an awesome aura. So the Ultra Instinct technique must've reacted to the saiyan cells in Goku's body by turning his hair white to resemble the angels So yes all species in Dragonball can get god ki but only saiyans can get a god form through god ki because of their anatomy

Goten and Trunks not growing actually has a canon explanation. In the Jaco manga it is explained that Saiyans have abnormally long childhoods. They stay small up until their late teens where they get their growth spurt. It's why 15 years old Goku was still very small too. My headcanon for Vegeta being extremely tiny during the Saiyan Saga is that he is a late bloomer. Now I don't know what's happening with Marron.
Your Vegeta theory makes a lot of sense, since he not only was very short but was also supposed to be shorter than Bulma in the saiyan saga, while a couple of months later at the end of the Namek saga, he was already shown to be as tall as her and during the years he became taller than her. He was already around 28-29 yrs old in the saiyan saga(so fully grown in theory), but since Goku has also grown up a lot since then(he used to be shorter than Yamcha and just barely taller than Bulma)it's still believable. The real explanation is probably just inconsistencies from both Toriyama and the animators, but I like your idea more xD Marron is a mistery tho
@Titano Man XIII TBH, when you follow Dragon ball closely, you have an idea, where the characters should be at in their respective age and timeline. You don't need to cross check every release in the Franchise and you don't need hour long explanation videos. But then again, I am used to time travelling head aches from Star Trek as well. :P

EDIT: By the way, the story har hundred of hour of cut scenes, how do you expect to resume it in 10 minutes or so? Unless you go only for the absolute biggest plot point with no details whatsoever of course. Try doing that with Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Full Metal Alchemist, Inuyasha or any other story heavy anime, it also fits perfectly with the series and book series (the previous point does too).

Okay, so you know how the 12 universes in Super are paired up into twins? Like 1 is 12’s twin and 7 and 6 are twins. Well what if instead of 12 universes, there were only 6. And each pair of twins were a single world? Would Frieza and Frost be in a war for territory (with the latter pretending to be a good guy)? Would Hit have been hired to eliminate a villain like King Piccolo? How would Beerus and Champa handle working in the same universe (since world fusion would mean each universe would have 2 destroyers)?

Is it safe to assume that each universe shares the same time rings? Cuz when Gowasu shows Zamasu his time ring box, he states that "just" appeared was due to Trunks coming back to warn the gang about Black. There's also the U12 time traveler to factor in as well.

I forget when the dragon balls appeared on Earth. I always speculated that dragon world or dragon Ball Earth was quite like our Earth before the dragon balls. Maybe the planet had a catastrophe and counting years was restarted. Also the dragon balls may have restored the planet, brought back dinosaurs, and someone wanted to become a animal hybrid. Maybe I missed something, it's strange seeing something our Earth related in the series.
I always forget dinosaurs are supposed to be a normal thing in the DB universe. It just feels so weird and out of place, just as everything that came from the original Dragon Ball before things got more grounded.

For Beerus' existence as a GoD, wasn't the god of destruction's life tied to the supreme kai of that universe? Unless i'm mistaken, the previous supreme kai was by Buu; or is beerus' life tied to the elder kai?
Oh! The first points actually bring up a possible What if: What if Universe 6 had a different God of Destruction. As simple as "What if Beerus and Champa switched places" or, what if ANY of the other Gods of Destruction had been in charge of Universe 6 instead?
Here's a weird one: The first mention of Baba in the timeline is when she began her fortunetelling business around Age 250. And then Roshi, her younger brother, was born in 430! There's even a scene where she berates him for not visiting their parents, who are somehow still alive? Is their whole family immortal? Also, it still bugs me that Super made Pan older than B̶r̶a̶ Bulla. If Bulma had been the pregnant one in Battle of Gods, rather than Videl, literally nothing would be different.
Maybe the grand elder Kai was locked in the Z Sword by Beerus, back when the multiverse still had ALL of its original universe pairs intact, not just the 12 that remain now. And the elder Kai "slept" through the transition to the new status quo, completely unaware that an entirely new calender system was put in place. And while he was checking off days or years inside the Z Sword, his time system was based on one vastly shorter than the one used now. So his 75 million years is actually something more like 150,000 years. Alternatively though, the calendar system in place now, according to Jaco and the galactic patrol, works on much larger time frames than earth does. And one of their days is equal to weeks or months of the old system. So Belmod's 87million days or 240k years, would be roughly 310 times longer than the time frames we are looking at based on earth times. And the elder Kai could have just been using a time scale familiar to Gohan when he told him he was locked in the sword for 75 million years, rather than confuse him with a system unfamiliar to him. He would have the knowledge or ability to divine the system Gohan would be used to using and instantly do the conversion in his head as he spoke. Just my two cents. Some kind of ass-pull to make this make sense.
It actually makes sense that Goten and Trunks still look like kids. If you remember Gohan and Goku, because of how saiyans age (retaining youth till late age probably around 70-85) this also means they don’t grow up till about 16-19 as we saw with Goku before the 23 budokai tenkaichi where before that point he was still a kid then suddenly he had an adult body. Or how Gohan where he’s 18 in the Buu arc and finally has an adult body. If we have another 5 year skip after super or it lasts another 5 years in the show trunks will be 19 and goten 18 thus they will have their adult bodies.
The thing about Lore in Dragon Ball is that ultimately it isn’t always essential to the story, only when it needs to be relevant. Dragon Ball has always been a character driven series with simple stories and arcs. Before it was about finding the balls before the bad guys do with a healthy dose of action. But as the series shifted towards more action, the simplicity in the storytelling prevailed, even if it was to a larger scale. Grow stronger, break your limits and beat the bad guy. It’s not a hard concept to grasp, and when tidbits of the lore get revealed they’re a complimentary side dish that lead to more exciting stories and more action. That’s the charm of Dragon Ball, it’s easy to keep track of how the world works, but even if you don’t care about the lore, the larger than life action will keep you engaged regardless. It’s simple, fun storytelling that doesn’t overindulge itself too much. As such, there’s a little bit here for everyone. The theorists who obsess with lore have the history of the Dragon world to dissect, whereas other fans are content with character driven stories, slice of life episodes and fantastic fighting scenes. I feel that it’s a healthy balance that not a lot of other series can achieve given how convoluted timelines can get. Of course, Dragon Ball can become confusing if you look over it with a fine comb (any timeline will, if you try hard enough) trying to piece together everything, but the basic idea as a whole is pretty simple to understand.
In the case of Chiaotzu, I think he's a Jiangshi, a vampire from the Chinese folklore. That's why he doesn't age. Like Kirsten Dunst in "Interview with the Vampire".
Dragon Ball World is supposed to be 3 centuries ahead of us.. Case Point: Remember when they find the pirate treasure running away from the RR Army.. They reach the pirate seaport where there is a sentient robot guiding it, with submarines and even security cameras and computers.. When Bulma tries to shut down the robot, she mentions that she cannot understand these old computers, bcoz it was not of her time, but they were of ours..
I find it hard to get invested in any lore of DB nowadays, what with all the retcons introduced throughout DBS. Toriyama's "off the cuff" writing style makes for some amazing individual moments but it's horrendous for telling a cohesive story.
Just thought of the fact that trunks could’ve just traveled back and stopped dr gero from creating androids or cell in the first place. He could take care of Gokus heart problem by talking to Dr briefs and mentioning research for that or something.
The dinosaurs existed for a very long time, he can have easily wiped them out and then new ones having evolved to take their place as the dinosaurs in our world also witnessed multiple "extinctions"

I think there's more to Vermoud than meets the eye, i'm not saying he's a bad guy here, but i think he's something of a chaotic neutral and this character might return in the future of DBS series provided if the manga continues to get that far.
You know that none of these things would be that big of a problem if only they started DBS with the Future Trunks Arc and made it a point that his blue hair is an indication that this is another time line and that's why everyone is younger and things are just a little tiny bit different. Then we wouldn't have to put up with all the soft recons and soft rebooting that goes on.
If only we had some kind of force or “patrol”, if you will, that could correct timelines. Maybe led by the Supreme Kai or better yet a Supreme Kai that specifically worked with time. Just pitching ideas here.

Wait what? Son goku should be older than Bulma now, considering the time chamber effect and all. After all: When son Goku and Bulma met, in the Manga of Dragonball Goku was 14 and Bulma 16, so only 2 years apart. (at least in the German translation, which I am currently catching up with.) - this kinda explains the state of Tunks and Goten as well. At least somewhat, since Gohan looked way more mature at the end of the cell games... But that has been discussed several times in other videos as well.
What I dont get is the divine calendar. To me, the name suggests it was created by the Gods, yet they've only been keeping track of it for 780 years as of right now. We know there was intelligent life before this time as Buu, Beerus, Supreme Kai, Zeno ect are all said to be millions of years old. How did they keep track of time before this and why randomly 780 years ago did they decide to start keeping track?
I was just looking up information regarding time and how its affected by gravity. The science states, time moves slower the closer you are to immense gravity. So I'd love to know since Goku and Vegeta have both done insane gravity training...how much time slowed down for them.

EDIT: By the way, the story har hundred of hour of cut scenes, how do you expect to resume it in 10 minutes or so? Unless you go only for the absolute biggest plot point with no details whatsoever of course. Try doing that with Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Full Metal Alchemist, Inuyasha or any other story heavy anime, it also fits perfectly with the series and book series (the previous point does too).

Maybe it is a mistranslated from Japanese so 87 million years, rather than days.
There is also a possibility that's not a "normal" day but a "god day" or something like that and it takes longer than our day. It happened in Super before.

I forget when the dragon balls appeared on Earth. I always speculated that dragon world or dragon Ball Earth was quite like our Earth before the dragon balls. Maybe the planet had a catastrophe and counting years was restarted. Also the dragon balls may have restored the planet, brought back dinosaurs, and someone wanted to become a animal hybrid. Maybe I missed something, it's strange seeing something our Earth related in the series.
I always forget dinosaurs are supposed to be a normal thing in the DB universe. It just feels so weird and out of place, just as everything that came from the original Dragon Ball before things got more grounded.

For Beerus' existence as a GoD, wasn't the god of destruction's life tied to the supreme kai of that universe? Unless i'm mistaken, the previous supreme kai was by Buu; or is beerus' life tied to the elder kai?
I would think Old Kai.. which still is weird because he gives his life to revive Goku in Age 774 before the Kid Buu fight. So.. there's that.
Oh! The first points actually bring up a possible What if: What if Universe 6 had a different God of Destruction. As simple as "What if Beerus and Champa switched places" or, what if ANY of the other Gods of Destruction had been in charge of Universe 6 instead?
Here's a weird one: The first mention of Baba in the timeline is when she began her fortunetelling business around Age 250. And then Roshi, her younger brother, was born in 430! There's even a scene where she berates him for not visiting their parents, who are somehow still alive? Is their whole family immortal?
Also, it still bugs me that Super made Pan older than B̶r̶a̶ Bulla. If Bulma had been the pregnant one in Battle of Gods, rather than Videl, literally nothing would be different.
Maybe the grand elder Kai was locked in the Z Sword by Beerus, back when the multiverse still had ALL of its original universe pairs intact, not just the 12 that remain now. And the elder Kai "slept" through the transition to the new status quo, completely unaware that an entirely new calender system was put in place. And while he was checking off days or years inside the Z Sword, his time system was based on one vastly shorter than the one used now. So his 75 million years is actually something more like 150,000 years. Alternatively though, the calendar system in place now, according to Jaco and the galactic patrol, works on much larger time frames than earth does. And one of their days is equal to weeks or months of the old system. So Belmod's 87million days or 240k years, would be roughly 310 times longer than the time frames we are looking at based on earth times. And the elder Kai could have just been using a time scale familiar to Gohan when he told him he was locked in the sword for 75 million years, rather than confuse him with a system unfamiliar to him. He would have the knowledge or ability to divine the system Gohan would be used to using and instantly do the conversion in his head as he spoke. Just my two cents. Some kind of ass-pull to make this make sense.
It actually makes sense that Goten and Trunks still look like kids. If you remember Gohan and Goku, because of how saiyans age (retaining youth till late age probably around 70-85) this also means they don’t grow up till about 16-19 as we saw with Goku before the 23 budokai tenkaichi where before that point he was still a kid then suddenly he had an adult body. Or how Gohan where he’s 18 in the Buu arc and finally has an adult body. If we have another 5 year skip after super or it lasts another 5 years in the show trunks will be 19 and goten 18 thus they will have their adult bodies.
The thing about Lore in Dragon Ball is that ultimately it isn’t always essential to the story, only when it needs to be relevant. Dragon Ball has always been a character driven series with simple stories and arcs. Before it was about finding the balls before the bad guys do with a healthy dose of action. But as the series shifted towards more action, the simplicity in the storytelling prevailed, even if it was to a larger scale. Grow stronger, break your limits and beat the bad guy.
It’s not a hard concept to grasp, and when tidbits of the lore get revealed they’re a complimentary side dish that lead to more exciting stories and more action. That’s the charm of Dragon Ball, it’s easy to keep track of how the world works, but even if you don’t care about the lore, the larger than life action will keep you engaged regardless. It’s simple, fun storytelling that doesn’t overindulge itself too much.
As such, there’s a little bit here for everyone. The theorists who obsess with lore have the history of the Dragon world to dissect, whereas other fans are content with character driven stories, slice of life episodes and fantastic fighting scenes.
I feel that it’s a healthy balance that not a lot of other series can achieve given how convoluted timelines can get. Of course, Dragon Ball can become confusing if you look over it with a fine comb (any timeline will, if you try hard enough) trying to piece together everything, but the basic idea as a whole is pretty simple to understand.
In the case of Chiaotzu, I think he's a Jiangshi, a vampire from the Chinese folklore. That's why he doesn't age. Like Kirsten Dunst in "Interview with the Vampire".

They reach the pirate seaport where there is a sentient robot guiding it, with submarines and even security cameras and computers.. When Bulma tries to shut down the robot, she mentions that she cannot understand these old computers, bcoz it was not of her time, but they were of ours..

I find it hard to get invested in any lore of DB nowadays, what with all the retcons introduced throughout DBS. Toriyama's "off the cuff" writing style makes for some amazing individual moments but it's horrendous for telling a cohesive story.
Just thought of the fact that trunks could’ve just traveled back and stopped dr gero from creating androids or cell in the first place. He could take care of Gokus heart problem by talking to Dr briefs and mentioning research for that or something.
The dinosaurs existed for a very long time, he can have easily wiped them out and then new ones having evolved to take their place as the dinosaurs in our world also witnessed multiple "extinctions"

You know that none of these things would be that big of a problem if only they started DBS with the Future Trunks Arc and made it a point that his blue hair is an indication that this is another time line and that's why everyone is younger and things are just a little tiny bit different. Wait what? Son goku should be older than Bulma now, considering the time chamber effect and all. After all: When son Goku and Bulma met, in the Manga of Dragonball Goku was 14 and Bulma 16, so only 2 years apart. (at least in the German translation, which I am currently catching up with.) - this kinda explains the state of Tunks and Goten as well. At least somewhat, since Gohan looked way more mature at the end of the cell games... But that has been discussed several times in other videos as well.

What I dont get is the divine calendar. To me, the name suggests it was created by the Gods, yet they've only been keeping track of it for 780 years as of right now. We know there was intelligent life before this time as Buu, Beerus, Supreme Kai, Zeno ect are all said to be millions of years old. How did they keep track of time before this and why randomly 780 years ago did they decide to start keeping track?
I was just looking up information regarding time and how its affected by gravity. The science states, time moves slower the closer you are to immense gravity. So I'd love to know since Goku and Vegeta have both done insane gravity training...how much time slowed down for them.
