- Build yourself a DIY Sprint Block for doing BMX sprints. This tool has been making the rounds and it is quite an upgrade from the previous version I built a few years ago. Sadly, I left mine at the local track and it got picked up so I needed to build a new, BETTER one.
Details for the build:
Total Height = 11"
Bottom 2x6 = 16"
Middle 2x4 = two at 13"
Other middle 2x4 = one at 13", but run on the table saw down to only be 1.25" thick
4x4 = 13.5" long cut at a 14 degree angle
Two drawer glides attach
Top pedal area is 8" long on the top square side
SB4000 love it and the safety sandals
Safety Second (always) 😜.
The guy that makes these is local to me. Great concept and sure beats the high price tag of the plastic one. And if you can DIY, even better.
That's cool he's local to you. I live the DIY life so I just needed time to be on my side to put this together.
@@TheDriveTrain nothing wrong with that!
you need the spring and custom paint for sure
Everything always needs to be custom with you 😜
What did you use to attach everything with? What kind of screws and what did you use to attach the top block to the slides?
Most of it I connected with basic drywall screw. I think the draw glide I used something I had with a wider head. In the end it was just stuff I had around the house.
hey what the angle of the cutted bottom triangle ?
I checked it and looks like it is 13 degrees
