    I know you didn’t ask for my advice BUT on your gate form…. I would try and eliminate that little Back pedal. You are immediately making your front pedal higher which acts like a hard gear when coming up that high. The back pedal should natural come from the pulling on the handle bars. Try adding a little force onto your front pedal during the cadence and give your brain the task of only pushing down on that front pedal and not allowing the “back pedal”
    So my brain forces me to help give guidance when I see these thing. 😉👊🏼 now back to the video

      I really appreciate this, especially since I’ve been going to your videos for everything the past year! Missed you in Hampton unfortunately but hoping you come back next year. Thank you!

    I dig it man. I’m gonna give this a shot on my next one because I really like your steps to innovate. I left mine at the track one day and it is long gone. Be good and happy riding. 🤙

    1-your feet are in the wrong place, 1st shoe lace lines up with the pedals axle
    .. 2- your front fòot is too low.back pedal lines up just below bottom bar....3- when sitting on the bike,on the gate,you look at the top of the gate ,when you stand up,you look at the end of the concrete ramp,this straighten your back, & bring your hips thru.I have been racing&coaching for 30years in Australia.

    Looks great, looking fwd to build mine as well, can you shear dimentions and angle, thanks.

      @pedalstrikeracing  2 года назад +1

      I would have to measure angle, but do what I did in the video, and just draw a line using your cabinet sliders from top of one side until bottom of the other, and cut along that line.

    How long did you make the piece where your pedal goes ? Looks like about 6-8” ????

    • @pedalstrikeracing
      @pedalstrikeracing  Год назад +1

      I never measured it actually, I just took the length of the pedal I had and added probably an inch on either side and called it good.

      Not bad. I see that it moves around alot before take off. Maybe more spring tension? I totally think the actual sprint block is a great tool but come on $250?!? It's literally made out of $20 worth of material. Have you kept using it? What are your thoughts now?

    • @pedalstrikeracing
      @pedalstrikeracing  2 года назад +1

      @@chadhelvey7827 it could use more spring tension. These wore out, but honestly, once I started using it frequently I became much better about keeping it stable and not moving much. I use it about every other day for practice and it has made a huge difference for me in terms of speed.
