Hello Super GT, Suzuki Swift Driver here! 💩😂 Sorry to everybody, I have distracted or even killed that Race. The fact, that I had such an underpowered Car, made me laugh. Racing against Super GT with such an underpowered Car, made me laugh even more. So basically I was laughing the entire Race... 😄 And I had the Stream running while racing, not the best Idea 😂
That swift looked really good. It's like the original Mini going up against the classic muscle cars of classic Touring Cars Racing

The fact that 1st and 2nd were within a tenth of a second of each other and 3rd was 6 seconds back shows how truely mental race 2 was
I remember seeing that 2nd race on the stream. Was like watching Michael Schumacher take out Villeneuve all over again ... that feeling of having your racing idol betray you by displaying the sheer filth that they are all just underneath the skin.

It really does suck that the Atenza is so overpowered. Nothing against the car or people who want to use it, I just want all the cars to be fairly balanced to encourage a nicely mixed grid of cars with different strengths and weaknesses. Right now, Group 3 races may as well be one-make races.
I agree, kinda insane a mazda is this overpowered as well, there is nothing that comes close

Gran Turismo is just such an amazing series, there's a lot of problems at release but at the end of the day it's just my favorite series

I cant race that Daily Group 3 track at all right now, tried a few times and there's always 1 or 2 guys in every field who just make it their mission to take other racers out as soon as they lose a position. Had a solid 2nd going into the final lap, guy in front just barely touched the grass causing him to lose enough speed that he has to let top spot go, and all he does is swerve right across the track to take me out because he was still in control of the vehicle. I ended up 8th. Will not race that track again. Too frustrating to put in 30 minutes, race clean and get sideswiped because someone can't just accept they made a mistake that will cost them 1 position. Edit: btw, loving the videos from Canada sir, love the British wit and dryness of your sense of humour.

@@andrewsmith4575 I just wish there was a way to identify very obvious and intentional bad driving and rather than just give them the 5 second penalty, just remove them from the race. The guys taking me out get the 5 second pentaly, but it takes my car 15-20 seconds to get straightened out (depending on the track and the angle of ramming), so it hurts my results more than theirs.
Two days ago I went from position 1 to 8th in the final lap in this daily B just because the 2nd dude couldn't handle the fact that he was going to not get 1st. Rammed the shit out of me in the first two chicanes. He ended up getting 1sec penalty while I ended up losing 7 positions. Dude finished 2nd or third. It was a B-S lobby for the most part (couple of B-As). Goes to show S ranking in sportsmanship in this game doesn't mean shit. You're always gonna have these dudes. I didn't play much of GTS's online but I recall there was a system that sort of prevented purposeful ramming and made it so the rammer became a ghost before hitting you ? Or was that in Forza?
@@legendhavok1723 yeah if they could fix the cheating detection algorithm then they could increase the penalties and punish the guilty drivers. Yesterday someone tried to ram me off, then they spun out, and I got a penalty for "causing another car to leave the track" or something like that

I just ran my first two Sport mode races in GT7 over the last two nights in the daily race b with the Supra.
The first night, I qualified 5th. During the race, I made my way up to 2nd, but made a stupid mistake on the second lap and spun out, going all the way back to last. I scrambled back for an 8th place finish in that first race.
The next night, I started on the pole. I maintained about a 2.5-3 second lead over 2nd place the entire race. So I got the pole, the fastest lap of the race, won the race, and a clean race bonus.
Not too bad for my second outing…

I quite enjoy Dragon Trail at the moment. Using a few different cars to see how each one stacks up and even with BOP there's some clear advantages to certain units for sure. Cannot do well with the Viper, middle of the road with the Mustang, do much better with the Supra, but i havent bothered to buy the Atenza since that seems to be the dominant car and wheres the fun in that?
@@legendhavok1723 I see your point about the atenza I was reluctant to buy it but can’t really compete against it properly in any other car and I want to raise my DR so had to buy it
@@samrackham4774 Yeah, might just have to, all the other cars im driving i can lap times to just over 1min39sec but no better. The straight line speed of the Atenza has no equal
@@legendhavok1723 I've been driving the megane and I'm enjoying it a lot, you can be quite late on the brakes and still stop the car at the right spot, but yeah the atenzas just eat me alive on the straights lmao
@@legendhavok1723 try the GTR it's good. I've been using that and beating the Atenzas. I do low 1:38's in race and did a 1:37.9 in qualifying

I just got this game a few days after it was released. So much fun. One of these times, maybe I’ll catch you when I’m on Super GT.
That race was very diffcult. At times I couldn't finish higher then 10th till I realized I didn't have the right tires but still had a hard time with the s-curve. Great stuff!
I enjoy so much to see you racing! I'm watching your channel for 1 year now and I think it's amazing how many things I learned from you. When I go online racing I literally have certain situations when I can apply directly your strategies and they work most of the time. Your approach on racing is so calm and well thought. Your channel is educational and funny in the same time. Top quality content!

This track is located between Baska Voda and Makarska in Dalmatia, if anyone cares. The village you can see in the backgground at 2:35 should be the village of Bast (thats the name). The Ilands at arround 6:30 are Brac and behind it Hvar. You should go check them out they are beautiful. Cheers
The thing about those sausage kerb is, if you get the car pivoted just right and throw the car into those corners, you get a massive overspeed down that back straight.
Damn GT, I haven't wanted you to win a race more than that one. That was truly the knight fights a dragon energy.

I just had a race like this. I was having issues at the race start from pole and the Autodrive did the first lap. I fell to p6 the guys ahead we’re all crashing into each other leading to a massive pileup and I got 2nd lmao.
That carnage race resembled all the races that I have had at seaside this week. Every combo this week is a punters paradise.
