The m6 isn’t big, just nearby cars get compressed under its gravitational pull and look small in comparison
That is not how gravity works.
Human beings get shrunk by gravity because we are soft bodies, but the mass of the earth is pulling our feet with more strength than our heads.
Cars, being more rigid objects, would get stretched by the M6's astronomical weight

At the start of the race when you flew the drone into the tree, it had my 4 year old daughter and me laughing so hard 😂 she loves GTS and GT7... Future of racing 🤩 thanks Steve
It's always been baffling to me why RWD is so odd in racing games. Almost all the truly incredible handling car universally are RWD. Yet in games they're always a spinning tired, oversteery fucking nightmare. Nice to see some games making positive steps forward with stuff like this.
Yeah .. the Corvette C6 Zr1 in GT7 does not drive anything close to how magical it drives in reality ...
My guess is that RWD is not a huge nightmare to work with in real life, but good God do I hate RWD in racing titles.
That’s because drivers in real life have talent and traction control , both things you are probably missing
True racing sims on PC have done it well for a long time now. I'm glad GT is improving because I love this game!

What you experienced on lap 8 is exactly what you experienced in the MX-5 at Silverstone "dirty air" going through Eau Rouge. Don't tuck in slipstream for high speed turns. Stay out. Tuck after.

The MX-5 have basically no downforce though, so not the same.
When people say "My oh my, how the tables have turned!" they're not referring to tables. They're referring to an M6 GT3.

Polyphony improved rear-traction but all my homies want the brake-bias back, that made the M6 so good in GT sport. Made it turn in so much better, it's braking is already really good.

I knew something had changed, my PS5 downloaded everything automatically so I didn't even know there was an update. I started ripping a few laps and was like damn RWD cars actually exit a corner how they're supposed to!

I reckon you could have carried a bit more rolling speed through t1. It seemed odd you were losing 3-4 tenths in t1 alone.
That update that fixed this car among others helped me get gold on the Nordschleife circuit experience. I never thought I'd get it but with that update I felt confident in the car and managed to do it. I play on controller so it was a real godsend.

I feel like I deserve an extra 6 mil for completing it before the update, I spent 5 days straight trying to finish it and lost a lot of hair in the process 😅
@@Savage_247 I tried so hard to, but never got even close to gold, always kept spinning off in the tight high speed corners, I'll stay start trying again I guess
@@Savage_247 I had the exact same thing, even lost it once on 1 tenth of a second. Felt like picking up a bat and destroying everything even closely resembling a PS5 and/or TV. Maddening.
@@Savage_247 I completed it once pre-patch but I was 7 seconds off gold though that was good enough for silver on my first completion. I didn't try again for a couple weeks but then I heard about the patch and went back to trying again and ended up doing it. I had help though; the RUclipsr Doughinator had a video on his channel that included pace notes for the lap which I listened to while doing my runs because I just couldn't remember the whole lap and those notes really got me over the top. I'd link it but you can't put links in comments anymore.

Super fun race, you can really see the BMW lacking in areas when you point it out. Solid drive at the end holding that pack off, enjoyed this one GT

Great race. I was noticing that in the beginning of the race Evan10 was making best lap one and one again, and he was at 5th position. At some point in the middle of the race he was right behind your car... That fight between the 3rd and 5th position seems to have been very interesting as well

The Hyundai is a very underrated Group 3, solid pace on it and no glaring weaknesses. It's become one of my favourites to compete with as I'm often the only one in it and it's nice to spring a few surprises. Little kick of oversteer but nothing unmanageable like the BMW was or the Ferrari, Ford GT etc.

When the composure is this high, I'm amazed anyone can pass each other with these group of guys. Qualifying is unbelievably important with this level of skill. I think I'v been influenced to pick up the sticks again & see just how rusty I am at sims.

The update really fixed a lot of issues with the RWD vehicles big time. I haven't tried Driving my M6 yet. Not since before the update 1.13. I'll definitely check it out before I go to work. Right now I'm really loving the GTR GT500, And BRZ 300

Actually the Lexus was keeping par with the Subaru if anyone is looking for alternative, I actually posted a win at spa this weekend. It also has good tire life and fuel management

I think you should experiment with slow corners more, looks like you need to do a 99% perfect job to get same exit speeds like other cars.
Something feels odd on the slow corners, but i can't put my finger on what is making it slow. For sure the car needs more tweaking from the devs.

If you already own the Gr.3 and Gr.4 cars of your chosen brand for the Manufacturers Cup, do you get to use them, or does the game still loan you those cars for the season?

Does anyone know how to zoom out on the rain radar? Since I got the game mine has had a radius of half a mile which ends up pretty much useless, as it only tells you its raining once it is.

Ive been busy and i have a few entertainment niches and have been checking here and there in my free time. 24 minutes. Damnit lol

Bro that drone footage was too real. first time i flew my new drone i flew it over some high trees and lost it immediately. in my searches for my drone i found another lost drone but not my one.
My only problem with the "physics" update is that while they used some fancy phrasing like "updating the physics geometry", I'm pretty sure they just adjusted some variable that sets the grip or coefficient of friction for rear tires.
Suddenly certain cars like the WRX Gr.4 and Huracan Gr.4 feel like they have a 10:90 F/R brake bias, like you're pulling the e-brake and locking up the rear tires, leading to massive oversteer and instability under braking. Most people probably just wanted more rear tire grip during cornering, but it seems to apply while braking in a straight line also.
Still well worth the tradeoff, but I hope they nuance it a bit.

I've been thinking about what manufacturer I want to go with and have no clue which one I'll pick. I'm thinking of AMG, Citroen, Subaru, Ford, Dodge and BMW I think. No idea which one to choose. I'd like Citroen or Dodge for something different but have no idea how they fare with BoP as I don't own them yet.

Haven't played GT7 for a while, just bought a wheel (Logitech G29 ) so i need to get it set up correctly as i've never raced with a wheel before.
It would be nice if GT could get the License for the GT3 M4. Or make a concept GT3 M5 that is AWD.
