What is the difference between this Guitar Bass VI vintage series and 6 string B-650 bass progressive series? I want to buy one but I don't know what about the differences between them you know?! Can you help me please?! Great video! Fantastic sound it was! Thanks! 🙏🏻 👍🏻 🙂
I order this instrument about two weeks ago and having a luthier set it up with a heavier set of strings (.024 - .100). This video has provided me another option for clean playing. Wonderful. Thanks.
@@demejiuk5660 Well, all sounds good up to the 12th fret. Intonation is lost higher up. Perhaps adding mild overdrive or reverb can disguise the imperfection. I’m getting to the point where I done searching for the good inexpensive guitars (ie, under $400). Best to save and raise my budget for higher quality. Makes sense?
@@southjersey10 I get you. But with a tune o matic bridge surely intonation can be configured? I didn’t see any reviews that mentioned poor intonation.
@@demejiuk5660 I will continue to test play the instrument and tweak as needed. A few commenters indicated that slightly heavier Bass E string can be helpful to keep the instrument in tune (sorry, I don’t the name of the reference video I viewed …. 🤔
Peter Green gave his Fender 6 to John mcvie and it was to auctioned recently. Checkout Green manalishi live Boston 70 or live Paris Theatre London April 70 to hear Peter use it , including a long solo , just him and Hihats from Mick FW❤
Nice playing, but I think a demo of a Bass VI type instrument needs to include some playing lower down the neck. Let's here those low notes! Although you can hear the different tonality, this is all in the guitar range.
It's like you guys reading my mind sometimes... this the 5th in a row i talked with my friends about stuff and you guys upload something that is the thing i've talked about. Today it was the GuitarBass... HB doing Magic Tricks.
Great presentation of the lighter side of ERGs. I really dig mine for its ability to create a huge clean sound. Admittedly, I've replaced pickups with a PAF style and a P90, but it's only because strat is not my thing ;)
It's concept is that of a short scale six string bass with narrow string spacing, as the string gauge that it uses isn't something you would see in a baritone guitar.
30 inch scale, set up for heavier than baritone strings, and intended to be tuned E1 (one octave below guitar low E) so no, not really a baritone... it's a Bass VI.
Best demo video yet! I’ve watched many of them. Thank you HB for making a less expensive option to have fun and experiment through. 🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿
Thank you so much! :)

This with an octave fuzz would keep me occupied for a long while.
That was quite perfect for showing the ADGBE…… now Low E in the whole thing
Krazy Kruel!! Looks related to my '67 TRUMP Baritone!!
Soooo inspiring!!!!

Just stop and take my money already 😲
This is something I've dreamed about, but thought I would have to build .
So that 6 string is nice
But what about an 8 string or a 12 string bass?
I'd loove to try the hb versions of those
SO BEAUTIFUL!!!
When a Cigar Box Guitar with 6 strings? 🫶🏼🙏🏼
Hm not a bad idea!

You: do you play guitar or bass?
Me: Yes.
Hahaha :)
This one was really hard to setup properly, I hope the new ones are better made.
The one in the vid also has some nasty buzz in higher positions.

The Green Manalishi
will there ever be color options for the ms60?
Reminds me of the Musima Eterna Deluxe.
Would be even cooler with a matching headstock!

it's a bass guitar. effectively a baritone guitar with strings for a 6 string bass.
I feel seen, thank you. needs more stoner doom playing though.
