I still use a Commodore 128D nearly every day.. its all original parts still. Have a 2nd one which also still works, doesn't get used that often tho. Surprisingly reliable machines. A500 is also quite reliable, sadly the 1200 and contemporary machines not so much, they rather suffer from leaky capacitors. If you have one, check it/get it checked, as that will damage the board over time.
Ahhh…Amiga Ownership….They really do have a mind of their own. Have a A4K that will boot but won’t reboot properly. A1200 Tower setup that can power up first time or a few times 🤷🏻♂️ Arn’t they fun… 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏻
When I had an earlier version of OS 3.2 ROMs and a newer version of OS3.2 that installed patches, my A4000 with T-REX-II would not boot straight away. The T-REX-II didn't like to reboot on its own after ROM patches were installed. But it would complete the boot cycle if I gave it the three finger salute, and the patches stayed resident. Maybe you have a similar A2500 issue. Eventually, I upgraded to latest 3.2.x ROMs and now the A4000 just boots.
Q - I NEED to know the secret of how to get an Amiga from one location to another without the courier playing football with it or them leaving it at the wrong address. Kudos to AGS and it's creator!!!!
Amigas are adventures. You never know if you will spend half your time fixing it whenever you hit that power button. Nice thing about ReAmiga boards is that everything but the custom chips are new. If you get NOS custom chips even better. I take it your daily driver is the 500 as most others you stated have not been turned on for months, or just YT exaggeration........My most recent adventure is an EATX2000 Kavanoz built for me. Expensive but fun hobby. Back to the just released Quake 2.
So my 4000d has had the same issue as yours with the on/off/on thing. I think Ive got a dodgy daughterboard - replaced it with one of the new, re-engineered ones and it seems to be much better!
What??? No Atari ST's? I am TERRIBLY disappointed. Tell you what. Just send me that A4000 and A3000 and I will set you up with a nice Atari 520ST (monitor and floppy sold separately)
You need to move the Lemmings Dude next to that A2500 so when it does not boot you can go "OH NO" Lemmings Style. I have my fair share of Amiga's all connected to a VGA/PS2 KVM Switch so they all share the same Keyboard Mouse and Monitor and they all live in a 42U Server Rack because I have no space but its Amiga Insanity a sickness there is no cure for and I have it. I do not own the CDTV or CD32 or any of the towers. Before I turn them on I pray to the Amiga Gods because one day they will fail, and yes I will cry but I have an electronics lab which allows me to bring them back to life. I have been through the fun and horrors of upgrades and one thing you must do before upgrading anything Amiga is read the damn documentation. I installed a BIG RAM Cards on my CBM 030 board and it did not work because I has to slow down the coprocessor speed that a previous owner had molded to increase the speed so yea I had to undo the mod and the BIG RAM has been working fine ever since. I have 3.2.2 in my A2000HD and its never been a problem, well not yet anyway. I hope not, I will pray as that was they only Amiga I have owned since like 1990 or 1991 and I have had to repair is several times but nothing serious. Yea you never know.

Flex those Amiga muscles, good to start your Amiga's now and then.
Started off great with F18 Interceptor, ArticFox, and SkyFox.
Ending with the best Amiga, the A3000, you can’t change my mind.

I want to see more of that rack full of Amiga in the thumbnail...
I wish I had enough space to setup more than one of my Amiga at a time...

I did try soft and hard reboots with no luck.
I liked it even before I saw the video :)
Hah! Power to them all!
👍
Thank you for your state on the stable. Cheers
I don’t know, maybe I’m just lucky but my three Amigas just turn on and work always 🤷🏼♂️
There must be something in the air. I just fired up my Amigas to check they still work too 👍
Looks like someone found the Amiga hardware rabbit hole too 😉🤟
Its the worse drug…or .. best
Sure would have been hilarious if the 3000's button fell into the case when you finally got to turning it on!
Har har har. Grrrrrr.
Amigas and guns. Great combo.
Hired Guns….
@@HoldandModifygreat soundtrack on that one.
@@HoldandModify Now tell me you have a Harley in your garage and we have same toys preferences at the end...

Package it like it’s a box filled with eggs. As for wrong address. Always require signature.

My daily driver is the A1200. If you know my channel, I have a playlist for my A3000. Which is QUITE the adventure with a ReAmiga. ;)

Tried a different one. Same issue. It’s really odd.

Haha! You and ALL your ATARI toys!! ;)
Nice collection :) Amigas never work :)
lol! Hey only one is being fussy!
@@HoldandModify 30-40 of them being fussy :D
you should fix the boot loop in a a new video
good point
@@HoldandModify - yeah don’t leave us hanging like that… poor machine….

Lemming is the true gate keeper. Also thanks for sharing your adventure process! :)
Your 500 doesn't have 1.3 rom. Looks like 2.0 haha
Yes I raised that after I filmed and posted. Oops.
