Nice video. The instruction manual that came with the Cube bike was terrible but this short vid told me most of what I wanted to know. A short description as to what each of the modes do would have been helpful too. Thanks
Word of warning. I set my iPhone up as a key to my cube e-bike. Accidentally left the app on when visiting. App drains phone quickly. On the trip home iPhone battery ran out……. And bike led started flashing white. Assuming that it thought I could be stealing it. However, it also switched off all motor support for riding.
What is the exact type of the front lamp in this video that can be operated via LED remote? Is there any list of compatible lamps available? Or it is just one specific type that works on? Cheers.
Hi Adrian, thank you for contacting Bosch eBike. Bosch do not deliver the light it is done from third party providers. The light can be controlled by the led remote. Because it is not a Bosch component we do not have a price list or a catalog. So we would recommend you to contact a Bosch dealer and make them do the purchase and recommend which lights are good. We are happy to help you locate your nearest dealer with our dealer search function at Dealer search - find eBike information, advice, test rides (bosch-ebike.com) We wish you a good day and feel free to contact us if your have any other request.
Hello! Just got a cube bike 140 with this system, I first off charged my bike and when I tried turning on the LED Remote it comes up with these blue lines up and down but then they go again up and it won’t turn on, what can I do?
Hi Hako and I'm just me, please charge your LED remotes - you can do this with a USB-C cable and charger. Please make sure your eBike batteries are charged also. We would also recommend that you pair your eBike with the Flow App - this will give you more information as to what may be wrong. If this does not work, please contact a Bosch eBike dealer. Here is our dealer locator www.bosch-ebike.com/en/service/dealer-search# Your Bosch eBike Team
As this remote can do everything to operate the ebike, is there an option to remove the main display (purion, kiox, etc)? Having a minimalilst setup is very tempting...
Hi méz geri, yes you can use a Smart System eBike with only the LED remote and remove the display. Please note: the only displays compatible with the LED remote are the Kiox300 and the Smartphone Grip. You can check out all product combinations here www.bosch-ebike.com/en/service/productcombinations. Your Bosch eBike Team
@@boschebikesystems Can I also then replace LED remote with something more minimalistic (ex. like BOSH Mini Remote)? I don't neet any indication on which support stage I'm riding, I can feel it out. I don't find this 'LED Disco' to be nice on the handlebar.
Hi Johan, we kindly ask you to contact your nearest Bosch eBike Dealer. They can diagnose your eBike and request a modification to the programming from the Bike manufacturer if necessary, since it is the eBike manufacturer who decides the limits. You can find your closest dealer here: NL: www.bosch-ebike.com/nl/service/ebike-dealers-zoeken BE: www.bosch-ebike.com/be/service/ebike-dealers-zoeken Thanks, your Bosch eBike Team
Why does it need a separate battery to function? It's already connected to the motor and the bike already has a big battery which can be charged by the user.
Hi Rolf. You need the internal battery of the LED remote to turn the eBike on. You can also turn the eBike on using the power button of the main battery yes, however this may not always be comfortable depending on the bike design. If a sufficiently charged eBike battery is inserted into the eBike and the system is switched on, then the LED battery is powered and charged by the eBike battery like you said. Your Bosch eBike Team

Glad you liked the video and thanks for your feedback, we'll pass it on.
Same with my Whyte EMTB, I was struggling to learn how to use the remote.

What are the right and left buttons used for ?
The different screens, speed. Distance traveled, time...ect.
