RUclips is great, I managed to turn OFF the light on my brand new bike but didn't know I'd did it and spent TWO DAYS fretting about it being broken, but I just needed to
hold down the button with the light on!
    Thank you Electric Bike Review!

Why does this remote need a battery and communicates with Kiox through BT? It's already connected via cable to the motor, and there's a big battery on the bike... This is really silly from Bosch. Also can I monitor the remote's battery level from Kiox or from the flow app?

So this remote won't work on a 2022 rail 7?

There is nothing wrong with Bosch prevous switch system so why run it down. You don't ride e bikes looking at pretty lights you ride looking ahead where you are riding to.

For me, the best part of the new button pad is how the buttons actually feel. They click very consistently compared to all of the previous generations. I also like that the bike can be operated without an LCD, and the color read outs actually work fairly well. I bet they chose the colors based on what most people can see, since many people have some level of color blindness (especially men). All of that said, the Purion is a great display too, it works quite well.
