I have a love/hate relationship with this trick, I use it a lot, because it makes doing eye makeup a bit easier and satisfying, but if I already have concealer or foundation on, you can tell where the tape was and how it'll pick up some of the product leaving a weird line😩
You could try doing your eye makeup before you do your face makeup! I see a lot of RUclipsrs do that when they do a dramatic eye look.
+Kendra Braun I always do my eye makeup before face makeup. :) I am quite messy, so if anything goes wrong, I can remove my eye makeup without ruining everything else. :)
I know u commented a few months ago but I saw your comment and I actually quite relate to this
Just stick the tape to the back of your hand and remove it then stick it to your eye that removes most of the stickiness but there is still enough of it to hold but not remove any of your make up hope this helps
Touch the tape a bit to get most of the stickyness off so that it doesn't literally take your face makeup off with it. Or just go back in and touch it up.
I used to get this alot, but I then tried doing my eye makeup before foundation and concealer and it works better for me 😄

I tried it with normal tape but it doesn't work too good,, my favourite tape to use is microporous tape , i think it's better than scotch tape x
