Cynthia and Bolos son recently starred alongside Matthias Hues, Kurt McKinney, Billy Blanks and some younger cast in The Last Kumite. If you ever get to watch it and see a dude with a blue jacket and a hat in the crowd cheering, that’s me 😂
The first Tiger Claws movie had something special that the sequels definitely lacked, probably because they went the way of the supernatural, while the first was simply about a serial killer martial artist. Still, there was something almost mystical about this one .... perhaps because the killer didn't seem to have any kind of real life outside of chilling at the Tiger school and killing other fighters. Almost as if he was in this world but not of it, if that makes any sense. Or maybe it was the soundtrack, which was indeed incredible, especially the end credits track: "Tiger Spirit."
Cynthia Rothrock has a charming beauty, in addition to being the best and most powerful woman in the history of martial arts throughout history, the queen of beauty and femininity.

Cynthia kicked so much ass in this one. Shame that in the second film she was kind of put in a damsel in distress role, and by the third one she was all but gone. Bolo of course steals the show and it was cool they did a "redeemed bad guy" for him on the second film.

Man, it'd be so bad-ass to see a continuation of the Tiger Claws franchise. I thought this movie was killer when it came out on VHS and part 2 along with this one was my favorite. It'd be cool if they could give more background on Chong and how he became the supreme 'Master Killer' that he is in this flick. More importantly, I'd like for them to do a backstory on Detective Tarek Richards. Plus, Detective Masterson could definitely use a spin-off showing her learning the Tiger method and becoming the new heir to the Tiger Fist style.
They actually did pretty good writing this fight sequence to have Cynthia not be unrealistically strong against Bolo's character due to the large strength advantage.
