So it's best to start off with program 1. When you're more comfortable using the red light therapy you can go up to program 4 which is very intense. You push the two left arrows first then the plus sign to choose which program to do. The results are supposed to start showing in 10 uses but some of the scars on my legs and a few pimples were going away by my 4th use. It's a must for me every time I go to the gym always after my workout because it helps to keep your muscles from getting so sore. And even if you dont workout before it's still good for you because it tones your entire body. And also helps with anti aging. Sorry for the book 😅
So no one showed me and I used this for the first time today. I just went in and started pushing buttons. I may have done a level 3 or 4 because my butt and legs had that itchy feel from blood circulation. I didn’t even know it shook!! I used the red light therpy as well.

I just tried this today for the first time. I didn't realize it had red light therapy. I know there are many benefits to red light therapy for your skin and scalp, especially if you have thinning hair. The other component to this machine not many talk about is the vibrating platform. Vibrating platforms for exercise are sold online for a few 100's of dollars. The idea is that while you stand on a vibrating platform, all the muscles in your body go into action to stabilize you. Sure enough, I felt it in my legs, my core, my abs and my back. I felt those areas tighten as they contracted. It was a great full body exercise. I hear the benefits of the red light therapy are noticeable with continued use after a few weeks. I'm totally sold! I hope to do this at least 3 times a week. This machine alone makes the black card membership at PF worth it.

I am at the Planet Fitness in Waveland, MS. The manager showed me exactly how to use it. So I guess it varies by location. He uses it himself. And was outside the room and asked me how I liked it etc. Made sure I knew how to use it. I bought the 2.50 eye 👁 protector which has a shaded lenses to you can see. As per the managers suggestion. Glad I am at a well run location. ❤️
PS. He suggested I lock the door 🚪 on the room entrance. Which is a pro tip.
Also. The tube above you is to use for balance. You hold onto the tubes to help your balance. Again the manager told me about that. Best idea is to ask for the manager if you try his machine.

That is the exact experience I had with this machine and with the staff of the closest PF by my area. I was just annoyed and frustrated. Yeah, push this button, that button, contradiction on whether I needed protective eye wear or not between the internet and staff. Then they just walked off. Thanks for posting this. I appreciate it.
Thanks. I just found out about this machine last week at my PF. I’m much less intimidated now. I kinda figured you wouldn’t get much help from the kids at front desk.

Joined yesterday they didn’t and I turned the machine on and it was just cold and white lights. It crazy how they let me go in there my first time signing up and didn’t tell me anything. Having to wear eye protection would of helped but since the bulbs just stayed white I’m sure I was safe not to wear them
Yes. They kinda suck at that piece - the actual explaining how to use it step by step. Lots of assumptions. I was frustrated.
Look on the side as you walk inside it tells you a lil about the what to do. Also those tubes are to hold on to as your in there. Also your to have your knees bent just a lil. Dont lock them while using this machine. Also your support to where the same eye protection as the tanning beds.
I have tried it and love it. At first I was a little afraid of it but the worker showed me how to use it.

When I used it yesterday I tightened up my ab muscles to give the results a boost. My tum sticks out, I look pregnant but my kids are 21 and 18. 🤦🏻♀️
Also I'm glad to see it's good foryour skin because I have stretch marks and scars from other things including where the trach was put in in 2021 when I got COVID and had to be put on a ventilator. Plus a scar from the feeding tube insertion since you can't eat or drink (or talk!) while intubated and I was sedated anyway.

I gotta be honest. I thought it was a gimic but I'm a believer now. No question it works. In so many different areas. I'm 54-6'3 270 pounds in decent shape. I've worked out consistently from high school on with fre weights/machines/cardio machines etc. My joints and tendons have gotten 25% stiffer in the lkast 5 years or somewhere abouts. I started using this 1 month ago and have gotten great results by 3rd treatment. I'm more flexible, less stiff, more energy, mood is better etc. And I lost 10 pounds to boot. I'm thinking I may buy a light for at home. Maybe for ther morings when I get out of bed/ with my coffee. Any ideas? I don't want to break the bank either so something in the couple hundred dollar range if possible. Thankjs for posting. :)

Le Elda Means u want the led. u want red light therapy.... on the light spectrum red between i think 300-600 is for skin benefits. but u only need 6 mins or less. it wont harm if u go longer it just that your skins cells (laymans way of explaining) fill up quick to utilize light but take hours to process and go back to way they were so its kind of pointless. NIR... near infrared (u cant see the light) range is around 600/820.... thats the one for pain and deeper issues. even helps with speeding up scar tissue and fracture repair. . 20 mins is time limit. u can do again after a break . red light therapy and NIR therapy lights should not heat up. u might have some warmth but its not the heating lights like far infrared saunas... thats a whole other thing (to detoxify). You do not meed eye goggles for real red light or NIR therapy. you definitely do for the green and blue lights .
ps. its not a one time and u get results thing. our bodies dont catch up (because of all the processes our mitochondria and cells and a million other things are taking place each day...) for about 2weeks to 2months. thats why you see that wording on products promising results.

Where I go at. The young lady knew what she was doing. And she set it all for me. She started me off with 1 and it was awesome and the music was great. I have no complaints about where I go to. And it's in Tampa Florida. The grew that works there are very helpful and know about everything equipment there and how to use it. The only thing the trainer that was there left. But other then that it was awesome. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Exactly!!! It took me 10 min to figure it out. I just stood there and jiggled a bit. I started on program 1.
When I asked how to use it, they said they didn’t know lol. So nervous

I went to my local Planet Fitness today to use this machine for the first time. I received NO INSTRUCTIONS. I didn't know how to work the panel and the staff was completely IGNORANT as to how it works. I felt absolutely NO vibrations. I plan to speak with management to suggest they have their staff trained on how to use the machines. It"ll probably fall on deaf ears but its worth a try.
Any update on your suggestion about staff training??

The same thing happened to me. The kid told me it was just like a stand up tanning bed and to go in and hit start when I was ready. So I just stood in there. I did this a few more times before I found this video and I’m so mad!!! What a waste of time. But at least now I know how to use it

I tried this machine yesterday. I couldn't get the floor to vibrate. Nobody knew how to work it at the Roseville, Mn club. I only stayed in a couple of minutes. The music was awesome though!
Lol that is exactly how my experience went today! There's already a language barrier with trying to talk through masks and plexiglass at the front desk but the guy who was setting it up for me had no advice or instructions to give.
dilevie I use program number 4 and it vibrates pretty hard. If it’s your first time be careful then be careful. And don’t lock your knees
I used this for the first time tonight. The employee who helped me out had never used it himself, lol. They said you had to wear the tanning goggles in there, and they had some you could buy, and some you could borrow. I borrowed a pair, and couldn't see a dang thing, lol. I was pushing different buttons to get the vibration thing going without taking off my goggles because I was worried about eye damage, lol. I thought the doors were going to shut automatically when the program started, so it almost started going with the doors open. Now that I know a little more, I'm going to try it again next time, but thanks for the video.
I work at PF and use this for inflammation. Not sure if it does much. But the members say it helps their aches and helps clear up acne. Sadly, nobody ever really explained to me how to properly go through the process 😆 guess I will go over that one. Even with the cheap peepers over my eyes, Everything looks blue for about a min after I get out. Kind of want to call the toll free number and ask about that. Still a pretty cool piece of equipment. Even if you’re not a black card, ask the manager if you could try it out. Just be weary of what kind of meds and herbal supps you take before trying!

Question ... for people like me for example...who are claustrophobic does the door have to be closed all the way and if so does it open freely whenever or are you stuck in there until it's done ? I am very curious to use both this one and the tanning one but my fear that I can't get out when I want keeps me from doing it
You close and open the door with your hand. You can leave it open, it is up to you. Closing it allows you to get the "full" effect. I guess you could turn a little every minute to get the same effect.

I used it and it changed my eyesight for a minute. All I could see was green and inverted colors afterwards because I didn't use the glasses 😆 Everything was red but then It changed back to normal and I was confused 😅
I use it with the cheap googles, and I swear The room looks blue ish for a about a min, after I get out. Wonder what that’s all about. It’s weird
Press the start button once (on/off button) then press left arrow once. The. Press plus sign up to whichever setting ou want and it will start.
Alejandra Perez i tried that a day ago cuz thats what it says, but i press the on button and then the left arrow 2 times bc the arrow just changed the volume and it looks exactly like this one cuz ive seen different looking ones, theres different speeds but the up and down arrows just change the terrible music and then the left and right arrow just changed the voice thing, a guy told me theres a bunch of different speeds but i only found 2 and both of the 2 go too slow for me

• Hop in, place feet on the feet below)
• Press start button
• Left arrow twice (machine should speak)
• Choose your program (P1 - P4) using the up and down arrows, I do P4 for strengthening
• Lights and fan will stay on, vibration will run for 10 mins on P4, I know that as that’s the program I use.
• Use the tube-loops above as handles for balance. ☺️❤️💛💙

I never used one of these. But I have REALLY tight muscles so have to go to a massage therapist fairly regularly. She also has tanning set up.
She has the red inferred lights set up in a lie down tanning bed. That really helps so I wonder if this would be the same.

I just got done using this at my PF. It was red lights for a few minutes then went to white lights. No vibration that I felt. Didn't get to hear music. The guy at the desk didn't really know about it. I'll have to try it again.

Well....my experience was the same as yours....1 year later! Word for word...except they didn't offer eye protection.
You don't need eye protection in these because it doesn't emit any UV rays. This is not at tanning bed of any kind. It transmits infrared to give your skin Vitamin D. You can wear sunglasses if the lights are too bright...or just close your eyes (which is what I usually do).

I started using the TBE a few weeks ago. I use sunglasses, and don't forget to bring footwear (flip flops).
Seems to work for acne. I'm not sure about what the shaking results will be, so we will see.
The TBE is set by front desk personnel for 12 minutes. Shaking stops at 10 minutes but lights stay on for the 12 minutes.
some people say its great, I've been in two different machines the vibration doesn t work and no to me at least it did nothing
I just push buttons until I hear the desired program however the light goes from red to white not sure why I’ll have to investigate that more
Do you ever notice how the room is a weird green tint when you exit? That's because your eyes will start to filter out the excess red-light from the bulbs which is why it changes to being more white after being in there.
My area just got a Planet Fitness and I only did the black card member for the massage options (we have both ultra massage beds and regular massage chairs), but I was considering giving this a try. Though I might get sunglasses before using this, just in case. When I was given a tour of the place, they briefly went over what it was intended to do but didn't really explain the clothes thing. So good to know.
Yeah that is confusing people say to just uncover what you want it to work but most say just go nude if you can because its hot and you get sweaty

I went in for the first time last night. They didn’t tell me Anything I thought I just hit the start button. There was no fan on the top it was open and just white bulbs the whole time and no movement. I thought the up and down button was for music there was no music playing. Just cold air and white bulbs. Kept wondering where the red was

Yeah the girl that gave me a tour knew nothing about the machine. It did have some instruction up on the wall but nothing getting into detail. There was also a knob by the door when entering the room that had went from 0-10 and had no clue what that was for. I didn't know there was a way to turn on music..

Maybe it was time to replace the light and they ended up putting the wrong ones in. Doesn’t seem right to have red light therapy without red lights

I know many people wear their birthday suit in lol (as long as it’s in a locked room). I believe some are in rooms that can be locked and some aren’t.
Where do you change if you have to be naked ?! My gym has it way out in the middle of the back of the gym... can you undress inside the machine ???
Jess L. Both of the Planet Fitness gyms I frequent have this booth inside a little room where you can lock the door . The booth is inside another small room.
How do you keep the red lights on?
They actually are at first! You just get used to seeing red. If you look at the blue clothes you have on (undies, bra, socks, W/e, they’re more blue. I look at my arms and legs and can see all of my blue veins.
My very first time and the young girl didn't tell me it would only give me 3 minutes to undressed....and no one showed me how to open the door to the machine...so I was caught OUTSIDE of the machine when it just suddenly turned ON.... this blinding bright light. I was so afraid the light would damage my eyes. I had torn one of the flimsy eye patches they gave me, and it fell to the floor. I covered my eyes with my arm against the wall and turned my back to the machine leaning on the wall for 11 minutes with my drawers around my knees! I was afraid to open my eyes and the noise was awful! I finally peeked out the door and asked some guy who was passing by, to tell the girl to turn off the machine. The girl turned it off....but it was so noisy and took a long time to cool down and get silent. I had a serious panic attack. Good thing I also practice Laughter Yoga and was able to laugh it off..but it was scary...thank you for this video...I will only deal with the manager and make sure he gives me more time to get ready. They really need to ask if it's your first time and not assume everyone knows how the machine works. I told the manager what happened and will try it again but only if he shows me how it works and doesn't start it until I let him know I'm ready. It was a terrible experience for me, but with all the so called benefits it claims to possess, how can I not give it a go. Thanks for this video, its very helpful!

From what they have told me you hit left button until it says off, then you hit the plus sign 4 times. That’s the setting I was on today and it worked like I wanted it to.

No, this machine doesn’t do tanning.
Now that I know people get totally naked I may not be using that agin it was my first time using and I had clothes on.
You will get the benefits of the vibe plate with clothes on but skin has to be naked for red light to work. Your naked body doesn't touch any part of the machine except the floor and hand rails ;)
I tried this machine at my local Planet fitness and there is/are no red lights of any kind. Just white light. What gives?
Wondering the same.. It even said that my tan was starting so I asked an employee and he swore it was the full body, not tanning.. It did vibrate alot tho!
The red light will look white after your eyes adjust to it. Since the phone doesn't have the same effect as our eyes do, you see the red light stay there. I ran into this when I used it the first time last week. I paused it by accident, and when it turned back on, it looked white. I went to the front desk, someone came back with me, and when it turned on again, the lights were red again because my eyes adjusted back. Once I stood in it for a few mins, I noticed the lights really did stay red, but my eyes were adjusting because it was bright...so it made the lights look white. You can always take your phone in with you like she did in the video to see for yourself :)

This machine at my gym I don’t know works. The bulbs when they first turn on is red, but then a few moments later they turn a slight pinky white hue. Is it supposed to stay red?

My location has instructions on wall, you don't have to get completely nude, and my location charges $5 for the UV glasses you will need them that light is not good on the eyes...and your right the workers has no clue how to use it, and may I ask have you seen some changes after using I use twice a week, its no limt on use since it is providing vitamin "C"🌞

So for this one and the tanning one do you need certain lotions and such? I have never used any kind of tanning or enhancing machines before and im confused and without information 😅
For the red light / beauty angel a lotion is not required but will help speed results if you are trying to minimize signs of aging or cellulite. It is also helpful if you start to notice dry skin after using the machine. For the tanning bed you technically do not need a lotion but it is highly recommended. I use a product called Collagenetics 2 in 1 and do the red light and tanning back to back. The two in 1 means it is designed for both machines, so for best results 1. Apply lotion 2. Beauty Angel / Red Light 3. Tan. You can shower right away with that lotion but I always wait awhile. There are other red light products and tanning lotions on Amazon - pick one based on reviews. Good luck :)

It’s good for pre workouts suppose to help with burning fat and building muscles faster. It’s also suppose to help with stretch marks, wrinkles, and just any unwanted cellulite.

Is there a lock on the room door? I would hate to be naked and have some armed bad guy come in there and literally catch me with my pants down and I can't defend myself. You can't be too careful in the times were' re living in!
There was a lock on the room mine was located in. I'm assuming different locations may be setup differently but like I said, definitely a lock on the one I was at. I would hope all of them would have a lock. :eek:

On infrared, idk that scientists have disproven that it harms eyes so that's why they offer protection- liability protection. Also idk why they say it jump starts fat loss- it just tones skin.
