*NOTE: In this video, I refer to the HydroMassage as a bed. I recently learned there's another model that is more like a bed and that this is technically a "HydroMassage Lounge." Functionality is the same, just FYI!

NOTE: I just came across a different version of HydroMassage at another Planet Fitness! Technically, the model I’m going over in this video is a “HydroMassage Lounge”, whereas there is another flat “HydroMassage Bed” model. The machine operates in the same way. Just an FYI!

Dude i love this chair. After every workout. I start with the chair. I do the kneeding muscle option. Then i go to the bed and the slant bed. I use the lower back option. After im done i feel like its sleep time. So good yet wiped out. Thank You planet fitness

Some of the massage beds seem to be older and second tier i have recently been on the latest model in another gym and i can tell the difference. Still a great bargin

Tried the hydro beds, massage chairs, and red light.
The hydro beds are one of my favorite features now.
Thanks for this video - it's very informative. I do have a question: When someone has an appointment for one of these, are they logged in under a personal profile where they can create and save custom massage options to just click on next time? It would seem a shame to waste 3-4 minutes of that precious 10-minute massage window each time in order to choose & customize options.
It was stated in the video you get a 10 min session but also a 10 min countdown.

Those hydromassage chairs work wonders they help relieve the pain and stress on my body i fell asleep on the hydromassage chair😂 it felt so relaxing i fell asleep immediately

I absolutely love this chair! Wish I had one at home! It’s worth the $25 monthly just to have access to this chair.
I pay the blackcard membership for this and the chairs alone I interchange chair to aqua bed back to chair and walk out feeling brand new again after walking in super stiff some mornings sleeping in the wrong position early mornings or late night when no ones in the gym but a few peaple you can use it without waiting for it. I also wish I could buy the aqua bed and the massage chair from bed to aqua bed first thing in the morning for 30 min to feel brand new again would be amazing but I dont have 30k to buy both . but if I ever become rich id have both of these in my in my house. the chair to aqua bed back to chair 45 min of massage whatever is open and available at the time I show up and im reset and good to go!!!

I saw you spray it down with the disinfectant however does it still smell ? people just worked out and go lay on it just curious

Would you say this alone makes the Black Card membership worth it? I ask because I won't drink any of the drinks and I don't have anyone to share the membership with.
Hey, Mel! I know lots of people get the Black Card membership for this particular amenity, so it’s not uncommon for someone to do so! It’s definitely a high-quality massage experience, is great post-workout and you can use it as often as you’d like as long as it’s not busy. The amenity I really use the Black Card membership for is to hop between different locations since I travel often, but this is a nice perk too if you want a relaxing way to recovery.

No, 😂 unless you bribe the desk employees. Some people don’t check the identity and let them go in, but some do.

Hey, Caroline! I haven’t gotten around to that just yet, but I’ll post a video on it soon!
I use the total body enhancement. It has red lights for collagen in skin and works the muscled . You need sunglasses ***or little eye protection glasses. Use machine 3 times a week. One day in between. Session. U have 2 minutes to get ready. I leave on my underwear and socks You see red lights. Turn. On 1 ) Then go in. Close door. Put feet on vibration plate marks. 2 press start button. 2 times. 3 )press right arrow >. 2 times. For fan 😮u see fan light on right. Voice says. U pressed fan. 4). Press the left arrow
Can I book 2 hydromassage schedule at the same time for a black membership card?
You can only book one at a time, in fairness of other people wanting to use it. But after your time is up, you can ask the front desk if you can use it again. As long as nobody is waiting to use it after you.

Hi, Beh Reh! No problem! PF states that only black card members can use the spa amenities and other perks, unfortunately not the guests. Hope that helps!

Yeah, I was really upset. I wanted my son to be able to use these with me. He has a disability with his muscles and this would really help. I hope my gym is more lenient.

It was stated that the hydromassage lasts for 10 minutes. However, at my Planet Fitness center, the session is only 7 minutes! Have there been changes since this video was made, or are there differences between Planet Fitness facilities? It truly is a relaxing massage, but it would be great if it did last 10 minutes!
Hey, Margo! It must be that different locations have their own timeframes for the massage. It’s still 10 minutes at my local gym!
When does the 10 minutes start after checking in?

anyone ever use the bed on youre lower back like waistline area there is alot of nerves its almost orgasmic gaves you goose bumps!!!

Can u use chairs as much as u want when u work out?
If there are appointments available, you should be able to book multiple sessions. I was able to schedule two back to back, but it may vary by location!

Hey, Marliegirl! It’s a cushioned top that is great for recovery Post workout but can also be used pre-workout just to loosen your muscles. Definitely should wipe it down!
How much water do the machines use?
Kinda weird you get the normal massage chairs with it when the hydro massage is better you’d thing the regular would be in the normal membership or just be gone
Can you lay on your side or front on the bed?
I flip 3 ways during most sessions. So good on my hips and torso!

Hi, backrack01. I don’t believe there’s a limit as long as it’s not busy and others are waiting on it. I was able to schedule a session, finish, and ask to schedule another right after and it was okay!

Thats why you wipe is down first, no different then using the gym equipment
You'd think you have to have on clean clothes for that. To be able to use it after workout make me a little skeptical. I know I'm really sweaty after a workout
