There's nothing quite like shooting trains in fresh snow, or during a blizzard. Always a plus when it's CN or CP as well. Awesome video, loved the drone shots!
😀😀😲😲 Whoever made this video, cheers to you. This is a heck of a good clip. As a trains lover, I appreciate this video a lot. There is something majestically beautiful between the sound of the train, the train ripping through the blizzard 🥶🥶, and the beautiful scenery of the white snow ❄️❄️ all over. I love trains so much that purposely, I would spy on thir hours, and sit and watch them go by. I must have been a train operator in my past life ⁉️⁉️😀 Thank you for this video. ♥️
Well Sir this is news that Christians (if you are one) believe in ‘PAST LIFE’ The Lord Sri Krishna explains that the soul is indescribable in verse 22 of the 2nd chapter of the Bhagavadgita (Song of The Lord) वासांसि जीर्णानि यथा विहाय नवानि गृह्णाति नरोऽपराणि । तथा शरीराणि विहाय जीर्णा- न्यन्यानि संयाति नवानि देही ॥ २-२२॥ This is the English transliteration below. vāsāṃsi jīrṇāni yathā vihāya navāni gṛhṇāti naro’parāṇi tathā śarīrāṇi vihāya jīrṇā- nyanyāni saṃyāti navāni dehī This the explanation of the verse Just as a man casts off his worn out clothes and puts on new ones, so also the embodied-Self casts off its worn out bodies and enters others which are new. Each word is translated here. vāsāṃsi = garments; jīrṇāni = old and worn out; yathā = just as; vihāya = giving up; navāni = new garments; gṛhṇāti = does accept; naraḥ = a man; aparāṇi = others; tathā = in the same way; śarīrāṇi = bodies; vihāya = giving up; jīrṇāni = old and useless; anyāni = different; saṃyāti = verily accepts; navāni = new sets; dehī = the embodied.; I hope you enjoyed reading this and I have stimulated you into reading the Bhagavadgita
@@harshabiliangady3211 Thank you for the info. Definitely, it game something to think about. In fact, I do believe in reincarnation. It just makes sense. 👍😀
Thank you for the kind words on my video! A LOT of work, and planning goes into making these, and trying to keep the shots creative. Great to hear you've enjoyed it, and thank you for watching!! :D
@@SD457500 In deed, it looks like you put a lot of effort on them ⁉️⁉️👍 Those are not just cheap cleps. They are intense and interesting to watch. By the way, it looks like you like trains too ⁉️ It takes a special audience to enjoy those beautiful videos. Nice work my friend ❣️ 👍 Thank you for sharing with us.
Back in the mid 70s, I worked for CN in Northern Ontario. I recall seeing many snow caked trains, both freight and passenger. The yard crews would have to knock the snow and ice off, before they could work on the cars.
These started appearing in my "recommended" about a year ago, and I really enjoy them. Shortly afterwards MODEL train systems showed up as well, and some include snow plowing too! The German systems are amazing, in scale, realistic. I'd love to see a real train / snow video with a clip of a German model railroad ... and see if the viewers notice.
Love the scene starting at 3:43. Gotta put that on my new model railroad-the angle is really cool. This is such an unusual snow; four days on and it’s still hanging on the trees despite the sun. Then there’s the continual freezing fog and cold nights which makes everything look like it’s coated in glitter. What a great atmosphere for going out and shooting trains. Thanks for posting.
When I got up that day, and saw how the ice was sticking to the trees, I knew I had to try and do something with it. Thankfully, the train, and sun, all worked out for the shot! Minutes later, clouds rolled and it was cloudy for most of the day. Thanks for watching!
Beautiful video, with great editing! I love the panning, drone footage, and the fade-aways from the consist. Too many train videos show a few seconds of lead locomotives, then you're sitting there watching 5 minutes of rolling stock. Well done!
Thank you for watching! Great to hear that you enjoyed the video, and enjoyed the winter rail action. Спасибо за просмотр! Приятно слышать, что вам понравилось видео и зимняя железнодорожная гонка.
Is it just me? CP and CN have the cleanest locomotives out of any of the north American railroads!?! CSX, NS, UP, almost always filthy. BNSF tend to be a bit cleaner, but still, the two Canadian railroads seem to keep their equipment cleaner if this vid is any indication. :)
CP with the cleanest locomotives, are you kidding? They NEVER used to be when I worked for them. It costs too much money. That's why you would see all of those GE's with burnt paint. Paint costs money.
Thanks for the comment! Canadian locomotives are actually quite common in the USA these days. CP and CN have actually taken over American railroads in the past few years, so it'll be an even more common sight.
Fantastic video great scenery capture. Very well done keep ‘‘em rolling out 👍🏻🚂🔔😎
As a Canadian national employee I approve this video! Very well done love the mood shots done in the snow!
Good,now finish up the payroll.
Thank you for the comment, and glad you enjoyed the video. We've had a lot of snow this season already!

Thank you for sharing. Enjoyed.👍
Wonderful video and editing. Thanks for braving the cold and snow. 👍🏻
Thank you very much, and glad you enjoyed it! I love this type of weather, and happy to get videos like these.
Great winter trains footage Douglas! A lot of snow in the air and almost in your lens haha 😉
Loved seeing those old Milwaukee Road hoppers!!
Great cinematography! I love trains in snow and you captured some beautiful scenes.

Thank you for the kind comment, feedback, and great to hear you enjoyed watching it!
I approve Very few things that Canada does. But the power units look great .
Outstanding video of trains in the snow! Well done! Jenny
The segment from 03:32 to 03:42 is one of the most pleasing going-away shots I've ever seen. Gorgeous.
Great job 👏
Love all of the EMDs❤

Right through the part of the Twin Cities where I was raised - sentimental on many points.
I hope this video brought back some good memories for you! Thanks for the comment, and watching!

Another excellent video!
Great video. Love the snow scenes.
Glad you enjoyed it! When the weather gets rough, I go outside to try and get scenes like this. Soooo worth it! Thanks for watching!
Very nice videos. Love the drone footage too. You sure have a lot of our Canadian locomotives down there eh?
Both CN & CP own some U.S. lines.
Great compilation enjoyed it

There's some very nice clips in here!
beautiful as always👍
Thank you! 😊 Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for watching!
Lovely video, well done !
Love the video! Old Soo tracks,, I recognize Shoreview, Little Canada and Arden hills. I model the area in N scale.
Very nice!
Must have missed the "blizzards and heavy snow" as the only real snow was when the train hit the berm from the snowplow on the street.... :(
Did you see the clip with J42? Thanks for watching!
wow...amazing train mister
Awesome
с меня лайк и подписка отличное видео

Oh wow!!!!
Egal wie ich die USA hasse aber finde solche Videos geil und mag sie
Let’s see a 18 wheeler go that fast in bad weather.
Nice video!
Glad you enjoyed it, and thank you for watching! I hope this winter snow keeps up!
Gosh, that first train wasn't slowin' down for anyone

Must be all that snow washing them down. ;-)
I had no idea that Canadian trains were permitted in the USA. Mind you, I haven't lived in Canada for the better part of 30 years.
Thanks for the comment! Canadian locomotives are actually quite common in the USA these days. CP and CN have actually taken over American railroads in the past few years, so it'll be an even more common sight.
Happy New year cheers
Nice video! How long did you have to wait in the cold for these trains?
Lots of time and planning! Many hours, but its all worth it in the end. Thanks for the comment, and watching!
Nice camera work. How many hours of standing in the snow went into making that 8-minute video?
Thank you for watching! I was probably outside for a good five to six hours getting these different trains.
Winter Impressionen Video toll gemacht weiterhin good Lucky Train 📽📽📽📽📽 a Fan aus Germany Cologne....🚂🚂🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚂
The caption says something about trains in blizzards and snow. The amount of trains in blizzards and falling snow are very few, just saying.
Never understood that exagerated use of the horn. Road crossings guarded by lights, bells and barriers. Useless noise pollution.
Does your feet stay warm
You: “Trains in Blizzards and Heavy snow”
Reality: 6 inches/ 15 cm of snow.

Pretty sad being a Canadian I don't see any heavy snow or blizzards
