Hi, just subscribed. I'm wondering if you can do a video of coolant / IAT temps when you floor it. Since you don't have an upgraded HX, we are almost in the same boat. Almost because I have Stage 2 dual pulley.
@@slowwa6741 If you can do a before and after, that would be great. I will be getting an APR CPS. My indie is an APR dealer, so if anything goes wrong, it's his fault. Since the temps will be dropping in a month, I'm torn between the CPS and Stage 2+ because after that we won't see warm temps until March, so I might have more fun with Stage 2+ in the winter. Up here north of the border, Stage 1 in cooler weather will spin the tires in the top of 1st gear before the lack of trans tune hacks you off at the knees and shifts. Stage 2 will spin them at 3-4k RPM and lack of TCU tune still hurts, but less. Curious to see temps before and after HX install. Curious to see if you stay stage one and go intake, HX and trans tune as it seems nobody has done it and I think it would be an excellent package.
Did you ever mess around and see how much temp difference there is with open filter vs stock air box ? Just wondering since you can check intake temps

I planned on doing that with the video on the heat exchanger. To compare the temps. I’ve got a merc hx otw right now!
