5:57 actually. But yes, Todd's art along with Leifeld (I find his artstyle underrated and looks awesome in some way) helped pave the way for stylized comic book and cartoon art.

Todd used to put so much detail into his panels, which clearly must've taken ages, that I almost used to get anxiety attacks just looking at the damn stuff! Especially as at the time, I wanted to be a comicbook artist myself. Probably a good thing I didn't as I very much doubt I'd have been able to handle the pressure and deadlines! (I worked at quite a slow pace).

Todd, if you had that software back in the 90's, you could have just done a few different angles of the spaghetti webbing and save the file on your computer and that would have made it so much easier on you but you truly did make Spiderman cool with the way toy draw him and today's Spiderman just feels kinda wimpy.

I think if the coloring of the webs back then were more refined, and those individual strands were rendered separately rather than color the entire bundle that grayish purple tone, it would've looked a tenth more badass. It would've had that 3D effect you were goin for. You were just hindered by the 90s tech at the time which might've been still hand painted.

When he talks about how a single piece of webbing would take hours to consistently go through a double spread page, that's why comics are like $3.99 an issue now. I've never complained about buying a Spawn comic because I've always gotten my money's worth. People said you can't sell toys for $30.00+ and Todd said "yes you can, you just have to give them $30 of value".
