@Vegan_Photographs football doesn't make sense... clubs can put players up for sale whenever they like, the reason they don't 99% of the time is because they have to give the player a cut of the money, whereas if the player asks to leave the club generally keeps all of it

We've spent millions on players and broken records for positions many times doing it. The forwards were replaced 2 seasons ago and then the midfield last season. New training ground and a refurbished the old one. Stadium improved dramatically and we are financially secure, unlike many other clubs who are bending or breaking the ffp rules. Open your eyes and look at what FSG has done to this club. We have a premier league and CL under them and many other trophies. We are consistently up there challenging for trophies. What more could you ask for. People also forget that we have many talented young players within the squad and others knocking on the door to be part of this first team squad. I'm pretty sure Slot and his staff have assessed what they need and we will get players in that will improve the team and not just sign someone for the sake of it.

3 league Cups, 2 FA Cups, 1 CL and 1 PL over a period of 14 years is not impressive for a club as big as Liverpool.

I love my club Liverpool as much as anyone in the whole world. Born and Bred , 60 years actually watching the club this year. He’s never in position, he constantly leaves us exposed and never does what we pay him to do. If I was running the team, he’d have been out the door as soon as he started talking about Real Madrid. Trent is a luxury type of player, he can pass, he can cross, take corners and free kicks, and look good doing it. I'm pretty much in your court. If you go back to early last season, nearly every game he was making a shocking mistake which resulted in the opposition scoring or being denied by the brilliance of Allison. If you took away his amazing passing ability, he would be worse than Jon Flanagan. Only Flanno was not afraid to get stuck in. Slot has to play hardball with him. If he hasn't signed a contract by the close of the transfer window, replace him with Bradley. Bradley is more your typical Slot full back anyway. Going forward and overlapping the attacker and being able to red the game defensively. Trent has to be go central long term or he has to go. I've supported Liverpool for 50 years so we both have been spoilt by incredible fulbacks. The younger generation never saw Alan Kennedy, Phil Neal, Steve Nicol. They probably even have no idea who Rob Jones was.

Problem with Trent at full back is pace. He has none, especially in recovery.

People don’t realise how little time they have on the ball compared to the rest of the pitch, they also have to be immense in tight spaces and immense at receiving the ball on the half turn or with their backs to goal. Trent is poor receiving the ball with his back to goal and does not have the awareness for a number 10. We’ve seen how bad he at receiving the ball even further back in midfield. Trents still a world class player at what he does but he’s not made to play in the 10
@@conorgillespie7832 His greatest skill is his long ball vision and accuracy. As a 10 you need to turn, beat a player and spot a 5 yard pass and move on to the area. Trent's best position would always be deeper. He may learn the defensive side of it well enough to play one of the double pivots but he came through the academy as a central midfielder and he should already know it. But doesn't appear he knows it well enough.
Trent is not in the top 20 in the prem. But he tried to win the ball back once in Sevilla game and got lucky. Maybe the message from Slot is getting through.. Still should be a back up to Bradley until he's as Carra put it more switched on..

@@PoesKlap69 a number 10 plays with his back to goal and plays on the turn as in a Peter Beardsley or a kenny dalgleish who dropped into the role a lot when rush came to Liverpool , Arnold always plays facing the goal and also doesn’t have the speed to play there. In recent times under klopp and for England he’s been played in midfield and the game has passed him by.
