Im fairly new and I hit a spin serve (not spinning with my off hand) And one guy tried to tell me my wrist needed to be in a different position. He didn't want to complete. Same as the guy in baseball who cant hit the curveball
The rule is that you cannot throw the ball up the serve would of been valid if he just had dropped it from the height he wanted instead of tosssonf it up there
It’s already banned, much like in ping pong and tennis you cannot impart spin on the ball with your tossing hand, only from contact with the racket/paddle.
same thing happened this year with badminton.. attempting to spin the birdie prior to serve creates an unfair advantage for the server.. the return is literally impossible to hit since it creates a unnatural motion.. ie the bird is like wobbly..

@@christian11111 what pickle ball needs is to expand to Asia and gain popularity there.. it will attract professional players from other racquet sports like badminton and table tennis.. the net game will change alot as more players with superb drops shots and volleys will force these predominantly tennis players push the envelope of this game and rules will change once again.. I would point out I'm still perplexed by the lack of backhand serves professionally in pickleball.. it's a common place in badminton.. it has significant advantages in terms of angle of serve..

Racquet sports are about 70% footwork. Case in point... this woman tries to return this serve without even moving her feet. Then, the ball spins away from her and she looks like her feet are stuck in concrete blocks...

I guess politics cometh to pickleball. I have theories on why this nonsense prevails. It’s all about taking power and strength out of the game. Blasting a well placed serve takes , skill practice, ability. But the counter is a block back. It’s way more difficult to return a deep serve with no power versus a topspin blast that sits up. I guess a screwball will totally get them all twisted up! 😂

@@FinancialFreebo I hit about 4 - 7 aces per couple hours of pickleball. If you can learn how to place your serve with real top spin (and especially if you can take advantage of the receivers bad positioning due to the fact that the placement of your serve is unpredictable and threatening to them), you can ace people fairly regularly. But it is a higher risk type of shot.
Ban it cause you hand spinning the ball to create a unpredictable spin. If you good enough you could spin the ball with ur paddle not get an easy spin to win a point
