Edit: long story but last year i almost got dropped out of hs because of my depression but it finally got better a few months ago ^^ I'm super proud of myself cause I changed my mindset after YEARS without taking any pills and even tho obviously I'm still not fully recovered, I feel sooooo much better!! I found beauty in life, I don't care that it doesn't make any sense anymore. I'm just happy I'm able to experience our beautiful world. I'm so grateful that I'm a part of this masterpiece. Ik noone asked but i thought this might give some people a little bit of hope?? :D

My school is really strict literally NO TECHNOLOGY ALLOWED and for people with straight hair, like me, you are only allowed to have a ponytail or plait :(

trust me girls, if you don't sleep enough but do take care of your skin it might benefit your skin too! When you're staying up make sure to drink hot water (a flask of 1 litre should help), and wash your face often (once every 1-2 hrs). And ofc don't forget to do your skincare before bed!

@@personaccount8515 yeah, it works but it might depend on your skin type too. Tbh my best advice would be to try and avoid staying up but if you have to study or you must stay up all night then this trick could work pretty well and avoid worsening your skin.

this is good advice! but the "don't be so noisy, try to be quiet" one confused me. I don't understand how that makes you clean and fresh it can also make people feel self conscious because some people have naturally loud voices

Yeah that's more of a personal opinion, after being more like myself (loud, very much sticking out of the crowd) is when I started actually having friends so it's different for everyone, if ur naturally loud, be loud, if ur naturally quiet, be quiet
No it's just for not disturbing others around you. It will make you look more attractive, trust me. But that doen't mean that you don't gotta talk.
my best advice is: carry an hand sanitizer to school, and in your lunch break you pass it in your armpit and after that use deodorant (i prefer spray, but you can use other type if you want). So it will smell good all day

pls don’t use hand sanitizer if u have super sensitive skin. i used to do it and it became so itchy i look like a monkey in school😂😂. but it works super well in terms of getting rid of the smell❤❤
Agree, its basically self care and nothing is wrong with that although not all students are privilege enough to buy some things that are mentioned here, we can't even all afford to study in private school where it's less hot. But still what we can do is to take care of ourselves and stay clean and fresh as possible. When you grow up or graduated and start having work, you would have more time and means to take care of your self. :))
That blotting paper is a no no, i used to think that it's handy and useful but even dermatologists would not approve of that. You are going to strip off your face's natural oil, just use tissue paper whenever it's getting oily.
Also, no matter how good your looks is if your hair is messy, you would still not feel good. So always include you hair when doing self care.

Bro my school so strict that they won't let us bring any makeup, clips,comb, lotion, perfume amd we can't keep hair open
i got medicine for my migraine, and it has a side effect of making me sweat less 👍 definitely a plus for someone like me who feels gross when i sweat
It's actually very healthy to sweat since it helps rebuild your stamina and other stuff! (Although I also find it gross and I hate sweating but u go gurlll slay that no sweat medication )

hi ! oil blotting sheets might make you more oily as it can strip necessary oils which will make your skin produce more oil not hating ! just giving out some infoo 💓

Try using a non fragrance lotion or natural shea butter or something I don't directly experience this but I understand that this is a problem

maybe you should try shower daily bcz it will make you feel good and comfortable and most importantly it is good for your health🙃
if you have oily hair try washing it everyday but if it makes your hair dull wash it every 1-3 days! also make sure to clean your body every single day :)
Hey! Im a year 8 (year 9 enxt year) and i know in British schools the secondary uniforms are so sweaty and uncomfy and maybe its just my school but they put the heating so high!!! For like personal hygiene shower as much as you need but don't wash your hair everytime ofc. you have a term and the holidays so don't worry but I also recommend keeping some roll on and body spray (if you want but u need deodrant especially on pe days) Dont worry about the pimples but I recommend pimple patches starface is expensive but cute I sometimes wear those out.
