Cause these videos are meant for teen girls:
1: when done correctly it can actually help a lot
2: if they are telling you to do smth complicated and unnecessary, they're probably trying to sell you to overconsumption (the idea with tis kind of skincare is that your skin is upset with you for messing with it so much, causing worse problems and making people feel the need to add more steps and spend more, etc etc.)
