Love the pots and pans. I think they're perfect to cook your wonderful food!! Definitely will be looking into this cookware! I'll check in the description below after the video! 👍🏼
Reminder to anyone making the gefilte fish, the frozen packages are RAW fish, so you definitely want to check the internal temp, or cut into it to see that sure it's thoroughly cooked throughout. Delicious!
Nice. The meat on bones that you don't know what to do with? You can braise it and add to a bbq sauce or asian sauce or a taco sauce after removing it from the bones and forking it ( shredding maybe). Then put that with noodles, as a "hot sandwich" in a bowl to fork up, or with tacos/fajitas/ burritos or in empanadas or pasties. Then the bones can be used for bone broth and braising liquid can be used in a gravy or to add to a thick stew ( can also be frozen in smaller amounts to add flavor to rice dishes). Hope this helps with some ideas?
Oh yes, I remember the first week of school! The nice part of it: You met all the other Moms searching for the same stuff at the store!😂 I am a grandma now, but your comments made me smile!
I can't get over how time-saving it is to prep and freeze ingredients like you did with the beef for your sirkaniz. I've even short-circuited my "out of sight, out of mind" problem by keeping a small magnetic dry-erase board on the freezer door so that I can just glance, grab, and go! Highly recommended.
Hi Sonya, happy Shabbat all your dishes looked so yummy. I especially want to try to make the one with meat, rice, chickpeas and carrots. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Sonya, Thank you for sharing the Caraway pans information! I was looking for a non-stick grill pan that would not have toxic components! The colors are beautiful! Many blessings to you and your loving family!
Since watching you I started using the aluminum pans with parchment liner for baking fish. Hoping once a week isn’t too harmful. Love the video as usual,
For the chickpea and rice dish, have you ever tried putting in coconut milk? In Guyana, we have a similar dish and I typically use 1/2 water and 1/2 coconut milk. Also found that you can also use the coconut milk powder if you don’t want to use the liquid milk.
If you hear the doorbell ring and you see an old gray haired woman holding out a plate asking for the mere clubs from your table please it's me. I wish my cellphone had a way to smell what your cooking. Goodness that looks so good. Like you I prefer to use Avocado oil.
I love your channel and am fascinated how you do all that.... Question.... So the next day you put everything back in the oven to reheat? What temp and how long does it take? Prepping is a game changer!!! 😍
Shalom Sonia and Family , sending Blessings to Your Family from My Family .The new Format of Sonia's Prep is Excellent. And All Prep Meal of High standard .Will definitely make Maroocan ChickPeas and Vegtable baked Rice Dish .Shalom. U.K.
When you fried the fish I remember that a relative of mine who is married to a Buchari served fried fish dipped in lemon juice that had fresh coriander and garlic in it. Do you do that too?❤
Hello Sonya, I am not Jewish but I love watching your video’s and I do cook quite lot of you recipes. I understand that Shabbat is a Saturday rest day and all the meals are cooked prior, do you keep your meals warm or are they eaten cold? Warmest thanks ❤
It would be lovely to hear more of how you celebrate Shabbat. I thought you were not allowed to cook and turn electric / gas appliances on. I do hope I’ve not offended you by asking ❤
I enjoy your videos very much! But, I don’t know why your voice is too low, and the music breaks are too loud. Thank you for the wonderful Shabbat recipes! Shalom!
Hi Sonya , you should try Hoka recovery slides for your feet after a long day of work . I’m on my feet all day and I switch to my slides before I start anything in my kitchen .
So funny how you always say teaspoon even when you’re using a Tablespoon, but I like my food well seasoned. Love your recipes. What does that fish taste similar too?
Wonderful video as always🤗All the meals look delicious and your prep is inspiring! I feel the need to say though that you seem a little “off”. I say this with only concern for you. Obviously I know you’re exhausted going back to work and managing the kids’ new school schedules, but your sweet spirit is dimmed. Please take care of yourself especially during this postpartum season❤
Can you do a video on how many meals you have to make and what combination of foods are for each meal ? Friday night, Shabbat morning breakfast, lunch, dinner again please.
@@SonyasPrep one for Yom Tov would be great especially when it falls before or after a Shabbat. How many meals for each meal for all three days. Snacks too.
I love watching you cook. You are so fast, so efficient. This is definitely not what I would call a simple meal. Your family is blessed to have you.

How do you reheat the fish you fried? It looks so delicious! Does it crisp back up after being in the fridge ?
I lay them in a single layer on a baking pan and place on the warming plate. Yes it crisps back up

Sonya. I am going through Teshuva this year and am so excited to learn more about setting up my kosher kitchen. Where do you get your parve butter?
That’s amazing! Kosher supermarkets or any supermarket if you use margarine.
Excited for you! The best of luck!

Me too. And I'm from South Africa 😂😂😂❤
Hi Sonya, looks delicious! Is there a reason you use avocado oil instead of olive oil?
Also, do you think the sirkanis could be baked in a dutch oven pot with the lid on?
Where did you find the cal away pans with black interiors. Looked on Amazon did not see them

Confused why you use short grain rice for this recipe and for Bahksh. Can I use my basmati rice which we usually prefer ?
Yes, you can
