i did not think i would get motivated & get to work just by watching videos, but your videos did help alot, so do more videos because you are helping alot😊 keep it up
Hi. I am a second year PhD Law student. Thank you for making this video. This really helped me a lot. I never knew that many phd candidates suffered through this second year slump. I am glad that I looked it up on RUclips and found your channel. Do you have a Discord server or other community of PhD students which I can join? If not, I request you to create one. It will be really helpful. Thanks.
7:33 That is basically a description of me. This habit is becoming a headache for me now. It's self sabotage. I'm on the verge of quitting a perfectly fine job because of this. 🥲
Honestly I finish things only because I have to ( I am paying for it for example) and it is the right thing to do, but as you I am interested in tons of things , I was trying to teach me myself biochemistry and I stopped well basically because life force you to take care of the important things first…it is a little bit frustrating, I wish I were super rich and could learn something different everyday 😊
Not gonna lie, these thumbnails with all those mathematical functions and methods and all that is totally working. At least for me, whenever I see these kinds of videos, there is a sudden urge to click it. And I think you've just found a way to do it, for people who are looking to do and learn difficult things (knowledge work). But I always appreciate the content and priorotise this first. And you know what? I like the content that you have. I mean I usually trust the starting channels more cuz they tend to be a little more specific about things versus the channel who has a million subs and may produce content that is a bit general to the audience. In this case, the vibe and style is kinda special and I appreciate it, but don't be afraid of change at the same time ;))
As usual a great video. Very helpful material. Charlotte, do you mind me asking what software do you use to create and edit your videos? Thye are very well made.
I think you're kind of talking about habit becoming drive. If you check out some of the videos of the guy named James Scholz(Computer engineering student), I mean he studied for 12 hours a day for over a year (streaming that on YT)and managed to keep improving, it’s inspirational . Some of the videos explain the difference between Drive and Motivation. How motivation is kinda volitile whereas Drive will get you from A to B no matter what
Peace, I hope you are well, please read the english translation of the Qur’an by Muhsin Khan. I would love to hear what you think about it after you have read it
Your videos are great, and the vibe is so enjoyable. You have to create a community beyond youtube!
And you have amazing videos, they truly interesting and yet not pop-based like Ali Abdaal's for example
I agree with you completely, just curious what you mean by pop-based? :)
🤣
I love your videos, they are candid and truly have added value for my endeavors.
Thank you for the insights !
Someone who represents me in childhood

Hi, I am too scared to enter in to the life of phd ..can you please tell me how to overcome this !
Hiiii, i don't know how weird this is to ask, but i kind of like neuroscience, and could i ask you to share your thesis after graduation? 🙏
Of course, still 2 years but when its ready :)!

I think comparison with Einstein is not right. Not every human is that intellectual.
