My all time fav Reverse Panda is the Omega Speedmaster “Speedy Tuesday” limited edition. With its fully brushed case and radial dials it’s near perfection.
I am hoping that Omega would step up their game and release a Panda Speedmaster in their regular line up now that they released a White Speedmaster. Its hard to find those special editions (ck2998 and Tokyo Olympic, in adfition to Speedy Tuesday)!
Teddy, broke 1 million subscribers, huge congratulations buddy! Your team works their butts off, and deserve this sort of recognition. Congrats again on your continued success!
Its great to see Hanhart getting praised and love from watch experts and lovers, the Hanhart 417 ES panda is just a great, beautiful watch, with a Collum wheel Flyback chronograph functions. And its my favorite watch on my colllection. Thank you Teddy
Couldn't agree more it's a great and honnest watch, I do own several high end pieces but somehow the Hanhart 39mm white dial managed to get among the 3-4 pieces I am daily wearing 👍👍👍
In the affordable range I would have added the Orient Kamasu Panda Chrono RA-TX0203S10B. For around 350$ you get a solar movement, sapphire crystal, 200m WR, good lume and a great design
@@tsgomesbsb It was modeled on the Mako or Kamasu case (i forgot which) which are both dive watches, so I think they kept it as a dive chrono aesthetic
I don’t care much for adding a chronograph in my collection, but something about the Zenith A384 just speaks to me. The AP RO Chronograph as well. Must be the circle-inside-a-square look. Just love it.
I love the looks of the Hamilton, but it wears very thick. I got a Hanhart 39mm reverse panda. I have not regretted it. It is surprisingly compact and wears relatively thin for a chrono. I like the distinctive aesthetic of this watch. Also have an SBTR Seiko. It has become my daily.
I bought the Bulova Lunar Pilot and while a well made watch it was too bulky for me and pretty unauthentic as a moon watch replica. I sold it and bought the Seiko Speedtimer, another well built watch and looked and felt great. The only problem was in most light conditions the hands disappeared into the face. I’d have to pull out my reading glasses to see the time. Sorry to see it go. Chronographs are really enhanced man jewelry. I’m now looking for a clean looking quality watch that just tells the time. Awesome videos, much appreciated.
My son and I are building our watch collection, as we start looking above the $1000 and $2000 range the Hamilton Intra Matic Chronograph Blue Dial panda catches our eye, Hamilton because Grandpa was born in Lancaster County PA and I love the 40mm case size and the Blue Dial is different 😎
Great review! I have the 2019 Zenith El Primero Panda Chrono with the Factory Black Leather. Is very compact and wears amazing. It’s so comfortable and gorgeous.
My Panda of choice (albeit not strictly traditional) is the Zenith Chronomaster Sport with the white dial and tri-color sub dials. I've been a fan of the El Primero since I got into automatic watches back in the 90's (boy I'm old) and, now that I finally have my Omega Worldtimer, I'm saving my pennies.
Great video with some wide ranging choices. You mentioned the Seiko Speedtimer being quite a small watch, I found that trying one on and then they released the Go Large version SSC911 which was much more legible for those with aging eyesight! I love the Hamilton Intra-Matic but I think the only one missing from this collection is a Tag Heuer Autavia Chronograph with White or Silver dial. She's a beauty!
Excellent summary, Teddy! I own a Seiko Speedtimer with panda dial and I really love it! I hope, you will make a review soon about Tissot's new chronographs as well.
What an interessting YT-bit! Thank you for the overview - it came right on time for me, cause I´m attending a community event at Hanhart this Friday. Thank you so much for all your effort and time!
mamacoo You are so well-informed about luxury watches. You've obviously done your due diligence and the comparison to the US is very informative...because of course, I live in New York. thank you very much
Been watching your videos for a while now and was inspired to start a collection. Started with the amzwatch, its specs for price and clean looks, now am looking for a dress watch to add.
Been watching your videos for a while now and was inspired to start a collection. Started with the MAMACOO, its specs for price and clean looks, now am looking for a dress watch to add.
Me too, but cannot get past the thickness. I have a few modern Hamiltons, and bought the Khaki aviation which is still thick, but designed and sits really well on my wrist.
Hamilton was actually only really involved in the "Project 99" automatic chronograph development because they bought out Büren, which was providing the micro-rotor automatic movement that the partnership were using in what would become the Calibre 11. They used far fewer of the movements than Heuer and Breitling did, though both blue and cream 11002s are fine-looking watches. Worth reading Jeff Stein's articles detailing Project 99 and its development.
I realize it’s silly, but I simply cannot hear the parmigiani brand-name without my brain ‘pairing’ it together with Spaghetti Scametti. I guess I’m just always hungry .
And the winner is...Hanhart. The only flyback of the entire 19 collection as shown - great for your navigation in the air, or for timing a random person's 50m laps (by consent) at the local pool. Awesome watches in this video
I have the Seiko Speedtimer. Love it, with exceptions - the nearly useless 24 hour subdial, the almost unreadable minute subdial, and the Full-Empty charge meter which never seems to move off 50%. Still, great look & feel.
Should have held out for the Seiko SSC911 Go Large. 41.4mm and likely to be my next purchase, unless something else takes my fancy.... something pricier perhaps. Tag Heuer Autavia or perhaps the Hamilton Intra-Matic. Lovely watches one and all. I quite like the Tudor but dislike the snowflake hour hand, always have!
Actually, for me, the smaller size is exactly what I wanted. I do, however, like the pop of red on the 911. If you are considering the Seiko beware that some people have trouble sizing the bracelet due to only 2 microadjusts.
I As well love the Tudor , Longines would be my next Pick under 5k and Then Zenith and Bretling under 10k, No Grand Seiko’s Panda’s? Thanks for Content! Always Enjoy your Videos Teddy.
The best quartz panda chrono is Alpina Alpiner Chronograph - AL-373SB4E6B. There is no competition in terms of quality and finishing. RRP - 1150 USD but you can find it cheaper - around 700-800 USD. Thanks. 👌🏻
Honestly, the Hanhart one looks really clean and unique. Definitely interested to see more on that. I also like the Tudor a lot but wish it had all the features of the Inter Miami edition but with the original dial.
For those not satisfied with Seiko SS813's relatively dim and sporadic lume (which is rather surprising for a Seiko watch), SSC 911 would be a great choice. I owned both watches for a while but I ended up selling the 813 just due to the lume situation.
Teddy, you totally missed the Citizen CB5874-90A. Completely the same build quality and aesthetics of the Seiko at half the price, but in addition to solar technology it also includes an antenna for the atomic clock in Denver, so you never need to adjust for daylight savings time or on a leap year. Full sapphire crystal and a better band, in my opinion, then the sago.
It's not really a legend. Hanhart under the name Vixa made type xx style watches for the French after the war as part of reparations. You can see it's influence on the type xx design.
I love the Seiko Speedtimer, but I don't know if it will fit my small wrist of ~6 in. Need to try it at a store. BTW, congratulation on reaching 1m subs Teddy!
Couldn't be happier with my Citizen CB5874-90A. Solar powered, atomic timekeeping so you won't find a more accurate watch, 24 time zones, perpetual calendar... oh and the watch and bracelet are beautiful! All for about $300.
A few good ones missed imo. Christopher Ward Valour especially as there was quite a price jump. I think the Forza Enduro and Yema Rally should be there. Honourable mention would be studio underdog. If had to pick one shown then prob the Hanhart

Wow...I thought about someone making this video, searched for it, and there you've done it 55 mins ago. You're definitely on the ball Teddy!!!
Teddy is the GOAT
I was also literally just thinking about this! How crazy!
You think of a video, Teddy will get it for you
Same.
Have you guys had the Neuralink chips implanted in your brains courtesy of Elon? haha

@@vincentschneuwly9783 its a great piece! I have the reverse panda dial with the stainless Steel bracelet and its also a awesome piece. 👍
yeah totally the biggest bang for your buck in my opinion!
I have a Seiko Speedtimer (panda) and a Bulovoa Lunar Pilot (classic face)…love them both for different reasons. Great video, Teddy!
Same but I have the 41mm Seiko Speedtimer and love it!
In the affordable range I would have added the Orient Kamasu Panda Chrono RA-TX0203S10B. For around 350$ you get a solar movement, sapphire crystal, 200m WR, good lume and a great design
That’s a great watch. The only thing it missed though was a tachymeter bezel.
@@tsgomesbsb It was modeled on the Mako or Kamasu case (i forgot which) which are both dive watches, so I think they kept it as a dive chrono aesthetic
Just got mine! Teddy, we’d love a video on this Diver/Chrono crossover from your fav brand Orient!
Finally! The Orient Neo 70s Panda gets its well-deserved exposure.
Tudor is the best looking panda out there for its price range! Cant compete with that beauty
My favorites Seiko Speedtimer and Tudor!!! Yesterday bought the Seiko Speedtimer from Teddy’s online store!!!
The GP Lorreato chrono panda is a sleeper too. Wish it had an exhibition caseback but for the price, it’s awesome
I'd like to nominate the Tag Heuer reverse panda glassbox for this list. 😊
Teddy hates Tag Heuer
@@dr.kevinmoore8889 he's covered Tag before, maybe just not as often as the other brands. I don't believe he hates Tag though
I don’t care much for adding a chronograph in my collection, but something about the Zenith A384 just speaks to me. The AP RO Chronograph as well. Must be the circle-inside-a-square look. Just love it.
Have both reverse panda Tudor and seiko speed-timer white face. Couldn't be happier with them.
Thank you Teddy! Really good video about my favorite chronograph design style - the Panda dial.
Islander just released their first chronograph that looks pretty nice and affordable
VC rotor is not just a "gold-tone rotor" it is solid 22-karat gold
Love this kind of content
Extraordinary revew....I agree with every single one of your selections.
Oh, Teddy! I can't believe you left out the Omega Speedmaster Racing "Panda". Mine comes with black rubber strap. It is a very beautiful watch!
Zodiac Sea Chron under the reverse panda is a solid entry imo
Congrats on 1mil subs!
Shoutout to the seagull 1963 panda dial, st1901 mechanical chronograph movement made in china with a sapphire crystal for around $250 usd
Love that FC was in the video. Longines history should be noted though. Love the Tudor movement explanation same with the Zenith.
Just ordered mine earlier today, can't wait to see it in person!

That's a problem w/ my Tudor Panda. Could have gone w/ red or black hands. Still love the thing!
What's unauthentic about the lunar pilot? It was literally worn on the moon when David Scott's Omega broke.
Watches are so delicate and intricately designed, so I have intense respect and admiration for amzwatch watch makers
That Baltic is ❤❤❤
Timex q is phenomenal
One of my favorite theme about watches is chronographs especially panda dial just love them all but I like the most Tudor!!!! 💪👍👏❤️

The seiko ssc937p1 limited edition is gonna be my next pick! Love what seiko is doing there i hope in the future more colorways
I was waiting on this one. Between the Premier and BB chrono- this was helpful. Thanks Teddy!
thank you Teddy… following you from Down Under… love your work.

I like this style of video.....looking at multiple watches. Nice.
Thinking of purchasing a Hamilton in my near future.
I've been back and forth on that watch for 3yrs now.
Just pulled the trigger on one, found one for 1k arriving Friday!

The Tonga is spectacular. I love the case design. I also love the Tudor, which is much more attainable.
I realize it’s silly, but I simply cannot hear the parmigiani brand-name without my brain ‘pairing’ it together with Spaghetti Scametti.
I guess I’m just always hungry .
Congrats on your Watch Pro interview Teddy.

An underdog is the Timex Marlin Chronograph
gotta say the Timex is pretty darn appealing
I agree, I am quite tempted to purchase it, but the acrylic glass makes me wonder a bit.
I got my dad a Q Timex reverse panda 4:31 and people ask him all the time what it is and are blown away when he says Timex
That Tudor!!!!
MAEN Skymaster! One of the best looking 'Panda' watches I've ever seen. Surprising you didn't mention it.
I have the Seiko Speedtimer. Love it, with exceptions - the nearly useless 24 hour subdial, the almost unreadable minute subdial, and the Full-Empty charge meter which never seems to move off 50%.

If you are considering the Seiko beware that some people have trouble sizing the bracelet due to only 2 microadjusts.
Cost aside, the Seiko looks the best to me. Especially for a 6.5 inch wrist.
I wish it was thinner considering its quartz. I say this cause my citizen chrono doesnt look as good, but is thin and wears so good.
I As well love the Tudor , Longines would be my next Pick under 5k and Then Zenith and Bretling under 10k, No Grand Seiko’s Panda’s? Thanks for Content! Always Enjoy your Videos Teddy.
Cant believe i wasnt subscribed, seen so many of youre videos.
Nice work. No short list there! Monaco would be a worthy reverse panda, if continuing to allow blue in this discussion, IMHO.
Nice one, anticipating a video on octagonal/angular bezels
The best quartz panda chrono is Alpina Alpiner Chronograph - AL-373SB4E6B.
There is no competition in terms of quality and finishing. RRP - 1150 USD but you can find it cheaper - around 700-800 USD.
Thanks. 👌🏻
Love that Hamilton 🐼
That Tudor is a steal.
Budget Daytona
Great video. Now please make a reverse panda version
Absolutely love my Seiko Speedtimer!
Lange's Datograph definitely needs to be on this list. 1815 Chrono (401.031) as well.
Honestly, the Hanhart one looks really clean and unique. Definitely interested to see more on that. I also like the Tudor a lot but wish it had all the features of the Inter Miami edition but with the original dial.
Thank you for having the PF Tonda Chrono Sport on the list. It is awesome and has the best rubber strap on the market. IMHO
Teddy check out the Yema Rallygraph. It’s a fantastic quartz chronograph for the price, and it has an interesting history
For those not satisfied with Seiko SS813's relatively dim and sporadic lume (which is rather surprising for a Seiko watch), SSC 911 would be a great choice. I owned both watches for a while but I ended up selling the 813 just due to the lume situation.
I picked up a barely worn Ball Engineer Storm Chaser Pro for an amazing price. The telemeter is an excellent bonus.
Tudor bb chrono is my favorite watch of my collection by far
Haven't worn anything else since...
Tudor reverse panda is my next watch. As soon as it’s on the jubilee
I click that like button before the video even starts

I have 3 Citizens Eco,great looking watches.
Very good review as always Teddy
I would have liked to see the Certina DS podium big size on the list
one of the few with 1/100 measurement
I agree Teddy…the Hanhart is super interesting….
great idea to do a video on panda's! some nice underdogs as well. would have been nice to see the laureato in there, but impossible to have them all.
Nice to see the Longines Conquest on the list, looking pretty slick at $3750!
Teddy...well done!
Thankyou, that was awesome. I love the Longines, i think its class.
Already knew both versions of the tag carrera(anniversary-and new release) would be slept on---😮
Legend has it, the Hanhart chrono was the design inspiration for the Breguet Type XX. Buy the watch, not the story. The watch is a home run.
It's not really a legend. Hanhart under the name Vixa made type xx style watches for the French after the war as part of reparations. You can see it's influence on the type xx design.
I love the Seiko SRQ mechanical pandas and wonder why they aren't more popular.
I've tried on that Vacheron Overseas panda. So comfortable. Such a sharp watch.
It's worth mentioning that Frederique Constant is owned by Citizen, who also own Manufacture La Joux Perret. No coincidence there.
Hey Teddy, where is that jacket from? Looks great!
You the man Teddy!
The Omega CK2998 limited edition from 2019 was a good panda style chronograph as well.
I love the Seiko Speedtimer, but I don't know if it will fit my small wrist of ~6 in. Need to try it at a store.
BTW, congratulation on reaching 1m subs Teddy!
Try it on a rubber strap.
Couldn't be happier with my Citizen CB5874-90A. Solar powered, atomic timekeeping so you won't find a more accurate watch, 24 time zones, perpetual calendar... oh and the watch and bracelet are beautiful! All for about $300.
Citizen makes some good looking watches for the budget minded. I have three
I wanted a solar quartz in my collection so I opted for the newer Orient Mako Chronos! It was either between that or the SSC911 for me.
Breitling Premier B01 caught my eye....I like it very much...!
Love my Bulova Lunar Pilot blue and white panda.
I like the cathedral hands on that Hanhart 417.
Tumbs up for the Hanhart, as far as I am concerned.
Great watches. I miss GP Laureato Chronograph Panda
I just got the Timex Marlin Chrono panda ($135) I was stunned by its quality, been sleeping on Timex big time.
Great list, thank you, Teddy! Check out the Czapek, very lovely chronolographs: esp their Faubourg de Cracovie!
A few good ones missed imo. Christopher Ward Valour especially as there was quite a price jump. I think the Forza Enduro and Yema Rally should be there. Honourable mention would be studio underdog. If had to pick one shown then prob the Hanhart
