Why wasn't kidnapping in there as well? I had a very similar event happen with my now ex husband January 2019. I was kidnapped, beaten and tortured for days...while heavily pregnant. Swat and 4 cities worth of police came for him. The first words out of his mouth were "So I guess the baby's dead then?!" He was a former Sergeant in the Army Rangers and a former K-9 deputy sheriff. He got away with so much, knowing how hard to push and get away with it...and there was so much he got away with! Much like this man, if you can call him a man...idk? He just got away with everything time and time again it seems here. Am I wrong? My father was a very decorated officer during his long career. I truly appreciate every good officer and all the good that they do. Sucks when the judicial system misses the mark sometimes though. I've been in hiding for years, even more now that he was released early 10/22/24. My heart goes out to this young woman. I know she didn't want to say anything knowing the retribution would be tenfold; just like he said...he'd be out in an hour and be right back to her. Sad.
