@@bayadere8308yes, he held his cool. As a LEO you never want a one on one physical encounter especially with an enraged subject drunk or on drugs, you always want a force advantage. Trying to directly engage someone in this state would almost certainly result in at least one if not two injured people. There’s no need for that when he can hold off for another on duty officer to arrive so they can cleanly take him down, which they executed very well.
Just because he could have tased or sprayed him doesn’t mean he should have, and he made the right call here. Also the off duty officer did a great job of standing back but yet close enough to intervene if things got physical before arrived.

There’s just so much to take appreciation of here.
1- off duty officers helping without getting involved (helps not complicate things)
2- neighbor who watched but didn’t intervene
3- same neighbor helping officers pick up the mess
4- how little force the officers had to use (guy was annoying, but didn’t really resist arrest)
5- traffic not blowing by the scene endangering those on scene.
6- Most importantly, the lawns… just beautiful lawns all perfectly cut. I don’t know what that neighborhood does, but every lawn was just the right height.

Bro, races with an angry mother with a flip flop in their hand would be the best Olympic sport. I advocate for performance enhancing drugs being a category. Could you imagine juced up guys on meth doing power lifting. How about the Olympic sport of getting shit halfway done. My favorite, a guy with felonies, holding, and being chased by cops and the winner gets to take what they're holding as the prize. The rest go to jail. My favorite ever would be the drunk gymnastics. The gold would go to the person who could pass a roadside sobriety test. We could make it happen.
