Excellent police work. He gave this guy way more chances than I would have.
He was annoying but he could barely stand up. He was really only a threat to himself, but yes very annoying.
I don't know where they get the patience. I couldn't do that job.
That take down and cuff was smooth as hell. Dude didn't even realize there's another cop till he's already on the ground and halfway cuffed.
Diversion is always the best tactic.
More officers and most are but my respect is much given to you both! Why he didn't get taxed is a testament to the officer and his moral
A dozen prior convictions, including felonies, since 2022. Why the hell was this guy free and walking the streets?
I'm guessing he doesn't live in the judge's neighbourhood.
The jails are all completely full. No money to build more jails.
@@riley5329 Tons of money for jail Just wasted on sh*t like free housing for illegals and war we have no business being in

Must be a blue city….
KUDOS TO THE OFFICER FOR BEING SO CALM & THE OFF DUTY POLICE WAS SO NICE 👍👍👍
That cop is exceptional.
@6:00 “BUT YOU WROOOOOOONG-ARRRRRGH!” 💀
I would have tased him 5 minutes into the encounter.
Can we give props the offduty officer who risked his safety for the safety of the cop until backup arrived.
A cop in his own jurisdiction is never off duty. I was REQUIRED to act in a situation like this.
Who was the off duty officer?
@MeandmyLife24 the guy that was shadowing the scene.. in the black shirt.
That was the most polite takedown i have ever seen. Bro did most of the work
Being a cop takes so much more emotional intelligence and finesse to de-escalate skills than ever before.
They really are weaponized social workers, at least in part.
people and keyboard warriors always wanna criticize cops on how they need to de-escalate situations when they’re literal scenarios like this where it’s literally impossible without use of force
It's the steady increase of irrational people out on the street. You can't reason with crazy or high.
First, these cops did a fantastic job. So why do police departments keep hiring people that shouldn't work at a McDonald's? We need police reform, with more funding & training, a national database, certification standards, and limits to qualified immunity etc.
@@slosubies4845 There has always been a steady stream of "crazy" people. Half the population have an IQ less than 95. A third (~33%) have an IQ less than 80, which is mor*n level. You add alcohol and drugs to the mix, then that IQ drops like a rock. Things were worse back in the day, when pollution was more rampant. In the time lead was used in gasoline, the average person lost 3 IQ points from exposure to lead.
They may have dropped breakdancing from the Olympics but thankfully we already have a advocate for the new exciting sport of flip flop throwing
Lol😂
CPT with an impressive negative 28 yard throw! That could get the gold.
Bro, races with an angry mother with a flip flop in their hand would be the best Olympic sport. I advocate for performance enhancing drugs being a category. Could you imagine juced up guys on meth doing power lifting. How about the Olympic sport of getting shit halfway done. My favorite, a guy with felonies, holding, and being chased by cops and the winner gets to take what they're holding as the prize. The rest go to jail. My favorite ever would be the drunk gymnastics. The gold would go to the person who could pass a roadside sobriety test. We could make it happen.
Vote for trump😊
As an Australian, I can say if we send Raygun we will also dominate boomerang flip flop throwing
Police backup takes off his seat belt to get ready to jump out, but he's still 5 miles away LOL
wow his 2021 mugshot looks like a different guy - he been living off that fast food from then until now.
I don't have the words to express how thankful I am that I stopped the madness that is alcohol about 15years ago. I'm 62 now, living a life I almost threw away. I would be dead or serving time for DUI's and maybe even having to live with someone's death haunting me. I really hope this dude gets the help he needs and saves his own future 🙏
Godbless you...I'm 60 and I gave it up 6 years ago ❤
Could be more than alcohol. Such a nice neighborhood too. Wow. So SAD
I had a sweet cousin who finally died of his drinking before he killed someone. Had 7 or 8 DUI's and breath lock on steering wheel. Sadly we were relieved when he passed at 70.
Quit drinking about 20 years ago. Best decision I ever made. Saw where my life was going and had to make a change.
I'm so glad you allowed yourself to live a fuller life and saved yourself and others.
I agree i hope if this wasn't a bender he gets himself into a place of recovery with help of course.
I appreciate dude behind crazy guy,, he can help officer if need be,, thats awesome,,, we need more like him,, RESPECT!!!!
He was an off duty cop.
His brother in law 😅
Thank you for your service, officers! Your presence in chaotic situation like this always bring the order back to this neighborhood
Man I bet the people in those houses had a great laugh watching that in real time.
When they took him down, it was done with care and only one officer placed a knee ON HIS SHOULDER BLADE while applying handcuffs. The cops were patient and even gentle to the man. Like they understood he was impaired and didn't deserve to die that day. This is a great training video. Kudos to those Police Officers!
or in other words, real treats they seem to find patients, but loud mouths will catch it
Well said.
Crazy how the crash out losers like him get a second chance but others who need one can’t find one
Absolutely this video should be shown in police training. Perfect action by the officer
@@gsustime He should've acted more quickly. Backing up around the neighborhood and allowing other civilians to be chased or potentially hurt is problematic.
I hope his life isn't always this sad. Big respect to the officers.
Should switch from booze to weed. Better calm than uninhibited...
Its his own fault

Perfectly sober and SO polite! Wonderful to see.
11/10 police work, this channel and the Lackluster channel are night and day.
These are the kind of Police we need in our society. Good job Fort Smith PD !!
These are the type of police that gets killed fast.
@@kawikadee9670 thank goodness you are not a cop with that attitude. If you are please get out before you hurt someone that doesn’t deserve it
@@Redsea2424 The guy was coming at the officer, you have to put a stop to that. If the cop wants to wait for backup then he should have stayed in his car until the other officer came. If you are a cop and don't know that this type of situation can get you killed then you need to get out of the business because you will get yourself killed.
I think kawi is correct…. The cop backed up from California all the way to Florida. He seemed to have zero control
My son is becoming a cop after his training. GOD PLEASE BLESS him and other law enforcement.
It is a wild time be a cop. I was a 911 operator for a small town and it was insane. I hope your son does well and stays safe. I applaud him getting into it, especially now.
Go on
My god bless your LEO I just got one out in the field . times are frickn crazy .

Hey Officer!
Thank you.
For doing your job without emotion.
I thank you from the bottom of heart!
Truly,
May God continue to bless you and yours sir!

without emotion?... isnt fear an emotion?.. timidity?
@@martinedwards4522Both are emotions, yes,but both also lead to extreme reactive responses from those experiencing them. What's your point here? This officer certainly didn't demonstrate fear or timidity, nor anger or frustration that can often prompt unacceptable responses as well.

What do we got here? Officer: "Drunk and stupid" 😂 💯 Great Job, much respect guys. 👍
That officer had some patience! He handled the situation like a true Professional. We need more cops like him.
Hear, hear. Terrific officer. Seems like a genuinely nice guy, too.
Standard procedure.
He had his hands in the perfect position behind his back as the officer approached behind him 😂

Dude is doing the classic "toddler that doesn't want to stop playing to go the bathroom" walk. If the cop tazed him he would have pissed on the cop!

He’s a big bad dude … the crotch holding is a dead giveaway.
The backup cop pulled him down perfectly 😂that guy wasn't even expecting it 🤣😆🤭
Cops saved him. He was 10 minutes away from getting locked in a gimp chest.

These officers are so calm. I give them so much credit. This guy is gonna be embarrassed the next day and probably have a bad headache
I don’t believe some people are capable of feeling shame !
You can also turn it around, maybe most people are just too often and too quickly aggressive, staying calm is not necessarily a talent it is just continuing to use your common sense
I don’t think this guy is capable of embarrassment.
I was thinking they need to show people who act like this when drunk or on drugs the video and let them see what a total ass they are and how stupid they look
I dont think it's so much that, but that cops are now being conditioned to be terrified to do their jobs and stop people like this, because they are afraid their whole life will be destroyed by the woke pandering media and public.
