You tools and work is so impressive. Only a matter of time before you have one of the top Blacksmithing channels on RUclips. I would put your skills up against anyone. 19 yrs old OMG!!
Hi Paul great work! Your know I love your videos, I like seeing your skills increasing! Not just the metal work but your video skills are also getting better every time. Thanks bro Anthony Kent
Very nice axe, I have an old one from the woods of WA state, most of there handles have a curve to the right or left depending who it was made for, mine is for a right handed logger and is very light weight to my way of thinking ...
i would like to possibly buy a double bit camp axe head from you, do you sell them? hope i can afford one if you do, you do awesome work i'm 57 and stay up way to late watching your videos lol.
I love it man! Forging axes and hammers has been number 1 on my list since I started. How much would it add to the cost of this axe to add convex cheeks?
This video is like: When u suck at inserting text but still manage to make a very good video about creating an awesome piece of art inspiring other people.
Stunning work man! I really like your choice in music as well. I really want to buy an axe and hammer from you this spring or summer. Hey I see you're in Connecticut. Not far from me at all! Would you be interested in working together on a hammer and axe or letting me see the forging in-person? Shoot me a message if so. I have several years experience bladesmithing but haven't done larger work like this. Good stuff 👍 -Nate
This is my first time on your channel. I love your work, but I don’t really like just music like the first half . I prefer the sound of work more like these is half and comments from the crafts person. Just a little feedback from my perspective, for what it’s worth.
Dude...why don’t you ever forge weld in steel bits? Using one big piece of tool steel is for wimps. Anybody can use a press and stamp out the shape of an axe. Be a man and forge weld.
Another work of art. I'm really impressed with your skill and imagination.
Nice to be here, thank you for the share, Lance & Patrick.
Really love the press jig for setting the head and wedge. Lot better than half splitting and mushrooming out the wedge with a hammer.

For shaping the handle a 40 grit zirconium belt works great
Great work. Nice to see some good neat forging and less grinding.

The Wedge Game is on point 👌🏼
Thanks man👊👊
Right on! That looked like mild steel.
Thanks for sharing, chould you tell me, the size of the axe ?for example, the blade length?
Does the forging tighten the grain structure of the steel?
Great job👍👍
Thank you!!
Good job

Paul, do you use bearing material in your press guides, or are you running steel-on-steel?
Just steel on steel

Well done. Make a 4 lb sometime.

Why do you use the toaster oven if you have an even heat?
Because I had to leave the house and I didn’t want it on when I wasn’t home so I ran an extension cord out in to the driveway for the toaster oven lol
Cool!!!!!👍👍
Nice video
Thanks!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻молодца!

Do not enter without eye protection -- at about 2 mins it looks like that rule goes out the window
