Good job sir! As a blacksmith myself, I appreciate and envy your craftsmanship, I am only just venturing into larger projects, and smiths like you help keep me critiquing and improving myself.
    Many thanks, forge on Mate!

Paul, anyone can pick at this or that. The bottom line is you did a great job. You continue to push. That is the only way. Personally? I don’t exactly dig the design. But I strongly applaud your effort and progression.

I’m supremely jealous of your forging skills!!! Very impressed with the shape of this knife. Did you mean to not manipulate the pattern? I ask because I’ve done this on accident before... shaped an entire knife then when I etched I realized I didn’t do anything to bring the pattern out! 😂😂

Hey Paul , good job on the knife. I try like it very nice.. but you should've used more borax and then fold the metal instead of cutting? You won't lose material that way? Js. But, try he knife look wonderful especially if it's your first time making the Damascus knife? maybe try it folding sometimes?
Thank you for sharing with us your process. I like it.

  • @Zogg1281

Not shore about the handle but the blade scores at least 12 or 13 out of 10....... mabey more. It is a thing of beauty, in days of old it would have been considered an honours to be stabbed by it! There's probably people out there now who feel the same way, just not me. Well done good sire, your skills are improving on every build........ which means I have further to go to catch you...... who am I kidding, I'll never get to your level. I'll just watch and feel inspired 🙂
