I remember me and my older siblings used to take turns everytime we lose on a mission looking at this vid makes me think about those days it was so much fun I feel like crying.

This intro is just one of the best intros I've ever seen in my entire life, still now.
This game was fucking amazing, made you play MGS in totally different way
The mistery missions were the peak of the game though

More games need to have VR Mission style bonus content that lets you go crazy with mechanics in a way you'd never realistically do in the actual game.
I just bought this game from Ebay cause its so rare people think that VR training is a waste of time but the real point in the game is to see how good you are with ever weapon and which ever gun your bad at you just keep trying till you master that thing that your bad at.

This is the best virtual reality training game i had ever played in my life, is a rare master piece, right now this kind of game will never get out on sale because in this generation it's all about money and zero imagination and creativity. And Snake is the best, like albert wesker
Imagine if this got a remake on the Quest 3
Just look at how this game has a complete system developed on it, it's amazing. Sad that Konami and Koyima are so yelous of their creations, communities could use them and could STILL used this system and make modern games with it.

I recognized in the intro that solid snake is all Shinkawa style cell-shaded. Why didn't they use that model.
The 3D viewer/gallery option in The Document of Metal Gear Solid 2 had that same model. Really cool
I loved and hated this game 😂 It frustrated me with the difficulty but holy crap it made me keep going until I reached 100%. I never could stand to leave a mission undone and sometimes it took days to get past.
I always loved the intro music here and would turn the game on often just to hear this song

Yes, so many people think it's from MGS2, but actually this theme plays if you complete MGS1 for the 3rd time with the tuxedo
