It is easier to say, but it's still the truth!!💖 I think some people are currently ugly, but you can become pretty! Everyone can become very very pretty! Sadly, some people have a way harder time with it than others. I was born with really good skin, but I had a bad.... Face when I was younger. Even when I look back at pictures, I think I was so ugly back then. I worked REALLY hard and now I am near what I always dreamed of!! I think I can be that in just a few more years. It is super hard for some people, but I genuinely think that everyone can look beautiful!!❤️ Lastly, when someone has a great personality, all their flaws actually become beautiful or attractive to me. You know the double chin? It's actually kind of cute to me. You know the asymmetrical face? That's kind of cool!! If a really attractive person acted really mean or something like that, all attraction is lost. That person just.... Doesn't look pretty anymore. They just look ugly?

I put a lot of thought in it so I could give you a really nice reply!! This is some stuff that made a very big improvement that I think more people could benefit from as well!! 1. Exercise. Honestly, this helped me SO much. You don't have to be a body builder, but having some muscle made me look a lot better. My belly for example, the fat didn't look as fat and more evened out than before! Also, for me personally, it made my face and skin less puffy because when you sweat, you lose salt. With that being said, I will move on to the second major thing! 2. Reduce salt + drink more water. I always thought I drank enough water until I started tracking it! I still haven't been very good, but it has helped me a lot. Especially when I actually drink how much I'm supposed to. My skin looks better, and I usually look super thin (especially in the morning.) 3. Facial Yoga This one takes time, and you won't see instant results (I didn't, but some people do). I follow Koko Hayashi which has helped me a lot. I did the nose one which over time has made my nose slimmer, however, it did take like three years? It's kind of like exercise, it takes a while, and you have to keep doing it, but missing days won't automatically ruin your appearance. 4. Posing? So, this is something that I kind of did on my own, and it helped, but... It's more of an appearance thing! I would look in the mirror and practice acting naturally, but in ways that would make me look good as well. One big thing I learned was to stick my neck/head out a bit while taking pictures! It made my jawline more noticeable and made me appear a lot slimmer in photos. I've practiced a lot with the mirrors and taking pictures, but I'm definitely not an expert XD 5. Vacuuming. This one...... Actually may be dangerous, but it is the best waist workout I have ever done. I have done this before I even knew what it was or cared about looks (kids do funny things haha!) Basically, you suck in, hold your breath, and tighten your core. By doing this, you are strengthening the muscle under your main abdomen muscles therefore making your waist smaller. I wave a very small waist, but I don't know how much of that is due to the constant vacuuming since I was very little or if it was due to genetics. I would also be VERY careful when doing waist workouts. Some I noticed made my waist actually thicker due to the muscle built. Again, I don't know of I just have a naturally small waist or if it was due to vacuuming. A few things that also helped me: Find your face shape and find hairstyles that flatter what you want to flatter. I have high cheekbones that are quite noticeable, but I hate my forehead/eyebrows. My forehead is small but bony? Therefore, I usually look best with longer bangs. I then hide my eyebrows (mostly) and my forehead while still looking cute! They also highlight my cheekbones and jawline as well. I would take some pictures of myself and judge what I didn't like and what I did. If there are too many flaws, just pick the biggest ones that stick out to you and work one at a time. Sometimes when one flaw goes away, it actually turns a flaw into a strength. I don't know what you look like, but honestly, I have not met anyone who I think is just plain ugly with no cure. My journey has been long, and is definitely not over yet. These are just some tips that have helped me hugely! These tips may not work for everyone though. If you would like to talk, feel free to message me on Instagram! (Godongo19)! At least for me, that's how it is. Every image I have seen can become ugly if I look at the flaws long enough. With that said, I just want to say that no matter whether you or anyone is "ugly" or not, it's the inside beauty that counts!! I won't say that beauty doesn't matter at all, since it kind of does in the world we live in. "Pretty" people may get a free drink or more kindness than someone that is "ugly". I personally, don't judge people by their looks, and I think that everyone has a unique beauty. I just want to say, as a woman, who never felt like "I could be THAT pretty." you've helped me. just by pointing out small things it's made a difference. My husband has even noticed my tiny changes and though he says Ive always been beautiful him, but now there is something extra. Another thing that I find so unattractive in both men and women is seeing someone overly intoxicated.....as in falling down drunk and slurring words. It's a complete turn off! I have no problem with people drinking but when it gets to that point NO THANK YOU!

Shea, I watched a documentary on amazon prime about the bad effects of sugar and have cut it out of my diet almost cold turkey over a month ago as well as not eating processed food. I did not know what you had added about sugar and the effects on your body. Thank you!! Even more encouragement for me to stick with this decision!

Poshbug I agree! The word ugly is an ugly word- I've taught my children never to use it, I'd rather they slip on swear word! I've family & friends who have battled Cancer and lost their hair, eyebrows and eyelashes due to treatment- They were never ugly, also my son had alopecia very badly after a traumatic car accident and he was never UGLY- & I had a rare side effect to medication I was on and lost my eyebrows & eyelashes for 3yrs and was starting to lose my hair which is 4ft long. I was giggled&mocked by others, called many names even UGLY all by superficial people. Sadly people are so lost in this world of superficiality that if a medical event hit them that would effecf their looks they wouldn't be able to cope. I've had young one tell me they would rather kill themselves than go through something like that-even if it will eventually grow back... Imagine loosing your own life, a bright and wonderful future filled with joyous memories and laughter because strangers can't find the beauty in LIFE. When you spend time with someone who has lost every hair on their body or has a physical restriction or cosmetic deference, after a little while you no longer notice what society has brainwashed you with as different, everything else melts away and rightfully so - You only see the beaming spirit of the soul that is in front of you and they are stunning!

If you are a natural blonde (yellow) then it can be very beautiful, but if, for example, you are a brunette, and then your hair just becomes yellow it can be a bit weird when you don’t take care of your hair.

Ones appearance is such a personal thing. What someone thinks is ugly, others may find absolutely beautiful. I could say that rimming ones' waterline with eyeliner makes a woman's makeup look dated, but I won't because that would be mean and judgy. Just sayin'.

Who is this girl to say whats ugly and whats not? What if someone got lip injections and it made them feel beautiful and now they see this and are upset. What if someones hair is that color and now they feel ugly? What is someone has a condition or cancer where they can’t grow hair and their eyebrows are scarce? This video was not a good idea. I think you're a bit wrong about completely eliminating sugar from your diet. Our Biology teacher said sugar isn't good for your body if you have way TOO MUCH of it, but our body also needs a bit of sugar. It's like everything, it depends on the amount of sugar you eat
We can also get sugar from bread and pasta (because our bodies process it as sugar) but everyone's bodies are different. I tried a no-sugar diet one time, and it did not help me. In fact it made me gain weight. But you're right, it is about balance. And some sugars are good for you, it just depends on what kind and how much or how often.
As a biologist doing my PhD, I also thought that when watching the video. Natural sugars are 100% necessary and fuel for your body. ‘Cake, donuts, candy’ and that kind of stuff is not ‘sugar’ , its junk food full of crazy amounts of sugar (and of the worst kind). I would have liked that clarified by Shea since people that cut 100% all sugar/carbs in their diets can get in serious health problems, too.
The ONLY reason I clicked on this video was out of curiosity. I just wanted to know exactly what made me "ugly". You should have really titled this video differently and skipped the word "ugly". I think the video was fair. People today get really butthurt if you say anything but blow sunshine and daisies. Most of what you said was take care of your body. And try to look like a real person. I was born with big massive lips (pretty common among Hispanic women, all my female family members have the same lips.) And I used to get made fun of them terribly in grade school growing up. It's funny because all the girls who used to bully me for them, are all getting lip injections now. Lol.

I just commented on I feel attacked and I usually love her videos. Not only am I LDS but the long hair thing made one of my friends feel attacked she Apostolic Pentecostal and they don't cut their hair. I am feeling attacked because I'm getting extensions because my hair will not grow anymore because of medical reasons. I get 3-4 hours of sleep because of ptsd.

OMG. I agree with brows the most! I had microblading done last year. When I saw the difference in how my brows should be (mathematically) vs how they were I was floored. Took about 5-10 years off my face. Also SUGAR..I do IF and I notice the difference...it's crazy

Basically, you suck in, hold your breath, and tighten your core. By doing this, you are strengthening the muscle under your main abdomen muscles therefore making your waist smaller. I wave a very small waist, but I don't know how much of that is due to the constant vacuuming since I was very little or if it was due to genetics. I would also be VERY careful when doing waist workouts. Some I noticed made my waist actually thicker due to the muscle built. Again, I don't know of I just have a naturally small waist or if it was due to vacuuming.
A few things that also helped me:
Find your face shape and find hairstyles that flatter what you want to flatter. I have high cheekbones that are quite noticeable, but I hate my forehead/eyebrows. My forehead is small but bony? Therefore, I usually look best with longer bangs. I then hide my eyebrows (mostly) and my forehead while still looking cute! They also highlight my cheekbones and jawline as well.
I would take some pictures of myself and judge what I didn't like and what I did. If there are too many flaws, just pick the biggest ones that stick out to you and work one at a time. Sometimes when one flaw goes away, it actually turns a flaw into a strength.
I don't know what you look like, but honestly, I have not met anyone who I think is just plain ugly with no cure. My journey has been long, and is definitely not over yet. These are just some tips that have helped me hugely! These tips may not work for everyone though. If you would like to talk, feel free to message me on Instagram! (Godongo19)! Oh! And lastly, sometimes it's just best to get away from cameras/mirrors for a while. You are your worst critique, and if you spend enough time looking at the flaws of anything, it will become ugly whether it actually is or not. If you look at a picture of a girl who you think is the most beautiful ever, and just look, you'll start to notice flaws you never would have before. You start to see a different image. At least for me, that's how it is. Every image I have seen can become ugly if I look at the flaws long enough. With that said, I just want to say that no matter whether you or anyone is "ugly" or not, it's the inside beauty that counts!! I won't say that beauty doesn't matter at all, since it kind of does in the world we live in. "Pretty" people may get a free drink or more kindness than someone that is "ugly". I personally, don't judge people by their looks, and I think that everyone has a unique beauty. Once I get to know someone, their inner beauty is what actually makes them beautiful, not their outer beauty. I hope this helps!! God bless!!

I've family & friends who have battled Cancer and lost their hair, eyebrows and eyelashes due to treatment- They were never ugly, also my son had alopecia very badly after a traumatic car accident and he was never UGLY- & I had a rare side effect to medication I was on and lost my eyebrows & eyelashes for 3yrs and was starting to lose my hair which is 4ft long. I was giggled&mocked by others, called many names even UGLY all by superficial people. Sadly people are so lost in this world of superficiality that if a medical event hit them that would effecf their looks they wouldn't be able to cope. I've had young one tell me they would rather kill themselves than go through something like that-even if it will eventually grow back... Imagine loosing your own life, a bright and wonderful future filled with joyous memories and laughter because strangers can't find the beauty in LIFE.
When you spend time with someone who has lost every hair on their body or has a physical restriction or cosmetic deference, after a little while you no longer notice what society has brainwashed you with as different, everything else melts away and rightfully so - You only see the beaming spirit of the soul that is in front of you and they are stunning!

Ones appearance is such a personal thing. What someone thinks is ugly, others may find absolutely beautiful. I could say that rimming ones' waterline with eyeliner makes a woman's makeup look dated, but I won't because that would be mean and judgy. Just sayin'.

I think you're a bit wrong about completely eliminating sugar from your diet. Our Biology teacher said sugar isn't good for your body if you have way TOO MUCH of it, but our body also needs a bit of sugar. It's like everything, it depends on the amount of sugar you eat

You need the glucose from sugar in wich you would get naturally from fruits and vegetables.

We can also get sugar from bread and pasta (because our bodies process it as sugar) but everyone's bodies are different. I tried a no-sugar diet one time, and it did not help me. In fact it made me gain weight. But you're right, it is about balance. And some sugars are good for you, it just depends on what kind and how much or how often.
As a biologist doing my PhD, I also thought that when watching the video. Natural sugars are 100% necessary and fuel for your body. ‘Cake, donuts, candy’ and that kind of stuff is not ‘sugar’ , its junk food full of crazy amounts of sugar (and of the worst kind). I would have liked that clarified by Shea since people that cut 100% all sugar/carbs in their diets can get in serious health problems, too.
The ONLY reason I clicked on this video was out of curiosity. I just wanted to know exactly what made me "ugly". You should have really titled this video differently and skipped the word "ugly". I don't care how many times you try and use the diclaimer "not ugly, but you know what I mean", you come across as condescending and rude. I think the video was fair. People today get really butthurt if you say anything but blow sunshine and daisies. Most of what you said was take care of your body. And try to look like a real person. Real hair, lips etc. and a little tough love about crazy eyebrows and yellow hair. I like to hear suggestions from an attractive person. I am adult enough to take what applies to me and disregard what doesn’t. Sorry, off soapbox.

I was born with big massive lips (pretty common among Hispanic women, all my female family members have the same lips.) And I used to get made fun of them terribly in grade school growing up. It's funny because all the girls who used to bully me for them, are all getting lip injections now. Lol.

Alice Rizkallah thnx for subbing..Yeah basically I got insomnia about three or four years back,when I began suffering from anxiety....My insomnia is cause of anxiety as I believe that I have generalised anxiety disorder...The thing about this is that it takes a very large time to cure this,but now I'm havin this so often that I think that it has become a part of my life....And finally the best thing about this is that it's not life threatening at all....

I just commented on I feel attacked and I usually love her videos. Not only am I LDS but the long hair thing made one of my friends feel attacked she Apostolic Pentecostal and they don't cut their hair. I am feeling attacked because I'm getting extensions because my hair will not grow anymore because of medical reasons. I get 3-4 hours of sleep because of ptsd.

OMG. I agree with brows the most! I had microblading done last year. When I saw the difference in how my brows should be (mathematically) vs how they were I was floored. Took about 5-10 years off my face. Also SUGAR..I do IF and I notice the difference...it's crazy
