Yep, that’s what I get too. Just trying to work out if that’s what people consider 35s or do they use imperial sizing and specifically get 35? I know it’s getting a bit picky but reading up on gear ratios i’m erring on steering toward 34 and meeting half way. That of course depends on the outcome of the “actual” size🤷♂️. Appreciate your feedback though.
@@paulgiles542 I think 305/70/18s are widely considered 35s! Depends what you're going to be doing most. If it's highway work like me, then 285-295s will be perfect
Hey mate I’ve been watching some of your videos in terms of your kayak setup. Look great by the way of the videos I’ve seen. But out of curiosity how do you tie it down on the trailer when transporting. Looking at possibly purchasing a PA14 360 soon and was just interested? Also would love to see an updated walkthrough of the final product once you got the new wrap, could locate any follow up videos. Cheers mate
Hey Kev, apologies for the late reply. I’ll make note of it in the next Hobie video - I had some extra things welded to the trailer to tie off on and allow me to tie across the yak - was done by my local trailer repair center. Cheers
@@PaulMalovFishing thanks mate appreciate it. Was curious if you strap it over the top of the kayak and if that causes any issues etc with your wrap. Look forward to your next video.
Hey Paul, I’m a teen wanting to get into bream tournament and I was wondering if u could recommend me a sounder. I’m thinking of getting a hds 7 and later down the track also getting a 9 or 12 inch but just wanted to know what your recommendations are
Hey Dan, if you’re thinking of eventually running multiple units, including a 12, then the HDS Live units are the best in our range. You do have an option of getting an Elite FS 9 for similar money to a HDS7 and then getting a HDS12 later and networking it to the Elite FS. Try and get the biggest screen you can afford, it makes life easier with side imaging/active target

Hey Angela, sounds like my timeline last year too! Ordered end of Jan received in August. Still loving the car to be honest. Just about to tick over 6000km but really happy with it. Combined fuel cycle is around 15.8L/100 with a lot of crappy Melbourne stop/start traffic. Stacks of room inside though. Love the floor and boot mats. They’re holding up super well
Thanks mate. Yes still just stock suspension, no lift. Rims are an pos 18 offset. And congrats on yours purchase! Hopefully it’s not too long of a wait

How did the spare fit underneath the car? I heard it won’t fit. Also what offset are your wheels?
Hey Chris, just running a stockie spare underneath. Didn’t want to deal with deflating/greasing it up to make it fit. They’re a positive 18 offset
did the 295/70r18 tires fit without any sorts of lifts for the car?
Hey mate. Yes that’s right all stock, no lifts. 35,00km so far and been very pleased with them
How good does she look now!
How are they holding up? 2 years down if you still have it and suspension still stock? Thinking of changing my wheels to the method ones
Hey mate, I’m struggling with wheeltyre size. Your 295/70r18’ do you class that as 34’s or 35’s?
