Hey legends! Just curious, would it be easy enough to install a winch after installing the bar a few months prior? Or is it a pain to get the grill in and out etc? Trying to decide wether to by the winch and bar at the same time or spread them out a bit 👍
@@stellap372 awesome thank you. Also curious, the 55kg for the bar, does that include the weight of the recovery points? Or would they be in addition to the bar weight? Roughly 12kg for the pair of recovery points?
@@liamkendle480 Hi Liam, the recovery points with the appropriate bolts when fitting the bar, are an additional 17kg. In the test we did, with the bar, recovery points, light bar, fog lights and carbon winch, the car gained 76kg between what you removed and what you added.
@@stellap372 thank you so much for that. There’s a thread running on Facebook discussing it so we were trying to work it out. You’ve answered the question perfectly and good to see it’s under the specified weight by nissan as well!

Hi there. Does the black section of this bar need to be repainted from the factory finish that it ships with?

@@liamkendle480 Happy to help!!
What's the weight on these (without the winch) pls?
@@stellap372 is it really 80kg for just the bar? Your website says approximately 55kg.
@@liamkendle480 Hi Liam, yeah sorry I replied with the rear bar weight. You are correct, 55kg for the Bullbar.
@@stellap372 all good, just wanted to check. Hands down the best bar for the Y62!!
