Human gives +1% to all stats, so also forte and outgoing healing. Giving it 5,75% offensive & defensive stats and for healers 4,5% - 4,75% depending on forte power. Also healers mainly want wisdom as ability score so having 3 points in that as suppose to 2 is also quite good. But thx for the video, they are always so useful!

The problem is guys think the tank shouldn't be a tank and 99% of people that play them absolutely suck at it. Pick a path and stick to it...your either a full tank or dps but can't be both unless your 60k plus...then you should expect everyone else to be 60k plus. I've taken so much boss aggro from 50k plus tanks it's pathetic....it is literally in your class to hold aggro yet a large portion of you can't do that or when you do can't use your class mechanics right and then blame dps for not killing stuff fast enough lol. Its amusing and I see it everyday. I have a 50k plus pally and the only time I dps with him is in solo content....like it should always be.
Agreed. I recently build and changing races. SO FAR HUMAN IS THE BEST AND GIVING A LOT OF DMG as DPS. As long as you can possible cap all 90% stat. Nothing beats human. 1% on forte is a huge deal. I can max all dps stat with human. You can put +3 to STR for physical dmg, or +INT for magic dmg. Thats huge
I choose Drow for my Pally Tank. Deflect Severity is one if not the hardest stat to raise and Drow also boost your Cha so its actually a double boost. Dexterity is not great but not too bad. I think Dwarf is overrated since capping defense is so easy. Halfling was gonna be my Second choice but Deflection is easier to raise and you dont get the debuff which procs a lot and can procs on multiple targets At the same time. Human is still the Best choice for tanks in general but since Paladin has Def Sev in your forte and its so hard to improve that stat I'm happy you realized that Drow really opens some cool specific build with his debuff and def sev buff. My first was a Tiefling Cleric as there is no Druid and I tried to recreate a party from IWD and IWD II - Heart of Fury. She is a child of the Heroes of Icewind Dale, an Aasimar Druid 30 and a Tiefling Rog/Enchanter 01/29. I picked INT and CHA for role-playing and faster heals. Ah, remember the days of Recovery and APG from attribute scores? And we could get a variety of rolls? A few mods later she was a MIGHTY Party Power Buffer. Now, she gets Down-Scaled! ☹ I always roll a Tiefling and a Halfling of every class. Halflings just make me laugh. And they are so cute! At least, before they changed the character sets in Mod 4 or thereabouts. Dragonborn of all except Ranger and Bard Dwarf 2 Clerics, Barb and Fighter (I wish I could make one of the Clerics a Paladin) Human Barb and Paladin Wood Elf Ranger Gith Cleric and Ranger. {:-:-:}

There are Elven and Halfling Paladins in the AD&D worlds, they must have some advantage other races do not have which benefit their class role. 100% CCR would be a decent advantage. Moon Elves, Sun Elves and Tieflings can start with +2 INT and CHA, and Paladin damage is Radiant magick, not Physical, and some free Recharge speed on Encounters is useful. Making a BIS character can be a little more esoteric than basic number crunching. But the trouble with Neverwinter, those things can take so long and be so expensive to test. I still have about 5 race re-rolls from years ago, when it could be advantageous to re-roll a bad set of stats and put the floating +2 somewhere else by rolling the same race. That's the whole point of Neverwinter, the world revolves around Dragonborn and giving Cryptic money, but most classes have a pretty good fee-to-pay option.

Obviously Deflection of 3% is interesting. Constitution help to have just some Hp up and Charisma is optimal. In this case i suppose it's better to do a video when you explain which races is best for which classes

Dragonborn races are wastes of money for DPS imho as we already have the likes of Half-Orc for meleé and Wood Elf for magic. Tiefling is my favorite Tank race for Infernal Wrath and the access to dual bonuses to both CHA and CON, with Half-Elf coming in second place for Fighter Tanks since the extra Ability Score bonus they pick for you actually goes somewhere that makes sense for a Tank (Wisdom) if you pick Fighter, and the Deflection is a useful bonus.
How did you rate the drow so low when its 100% up time on the cleric and clearly BiS? Id even up the renegade drow higher for the same reason and one tier above what it is for tank. At one point healing is too easy so Id rather debuff and help with mechanics and dmg. With the ap spamming cleric its easily 100% uptime
I don't agree with the tier list for tanks. It makes no sense that the Renegade and the Tiefling are in "average". Nor does it make any sense that the DB or the Gift are in "poor". It doesn't make any sense that Halfling is on "good" ... In general ... I don't see much sense in that tier list ...

There's only one race I ever wanted to play, so I started playing Neverwinter only to quickly find out I can NEVER play an Aasimar because I had to buy the all milestone completion packs (at the start the Redeemed Citadel event) in the Zen market, but it's not available anymore.
I'm gonna have to disagree with the Tiefling as average. I've had a paladin with human and Tiefling and the Tiefling always out performs. Tiefling is the best tank in my opinion. I may have to test other races but Tiefling has never let me down

teifling is very very good you must be using it wrong if you say average. My warlock is teifling and he slaps heads like a beast. 4yr player here

Should have prolly split dps into 2 categories, physical and magic. I thought elves would generally make excellent mages/warlocks.

I would place gith as average.
Combat advantage is one of the best offense stats (along with power) and hard to comeby (except rogues), so the 5% from gith is very good.

Wizard Arcanists specifically enjoy the Sun/Moon AP gain.
For all other magic DPS, Wood Elves have that extra punch.
