My arts class teacher's most said line "Black is not a color - it's a shade!". It looks really really good with the black trim and your brother had a good idea to paint the baseboard!
There ya go, shade it is! I think it has a classic look with the white and black, I like it too. Yes he did, definitely completes it and doesn't stick out so much.
Several years ago, I had Eastern shed build me in 8x10 shed with an extra foot in height. Dual doors on one side without windows. I had the PT option installed, vinyl siding to match. Back then it was under $3,000 installed. I priced out the shed out of curiosity in today's money, and it's now close to $7,000. What a difference 6 years can make.
7:00 I think I may just use to 1x3 instead of getting a 6” board and ripping it. What do you think? Don’t know if the 1x3” may look too skinny as trim. (This is for a playhouse, not a shed so a little smaller)
WOW AWESOME Job and Teaching Brother. No one ever considers trim and how important to seal up everything. Thank you so much for teaching us all 😊❤
Thanks very much! When you live in an extreme climate like I do, sealing it up is necessary lol. I'm glad you liked it

Isn't that insane. Good thing you got yours when you did.
@@JessedoesDIY Yeah, but I want another bigger one! 8x10 isn't enough.
Great job!! I've watched all the videos for this shed build. They've been VERY informative and motivational. 👌🏾
Thanks very much! I'm glad you found it all useful, and a motivator too
Love it. Have a shed I want to update a bit and this was super helpful. Thank you for the detailed explanations!
Awesome! I'm just glad you found it useful. Good luck on your project
Good looking shed. You build well, and explain what and why you are doing well.👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks 👍Appreciate it!
Awesome shed build series man. Always enjoy watching along.
Thanks man!
Didn’t know how fortunate I was to have an abundance of smart siding and 5/4 boards available in my area. Lol
Me neither. Take it and run with it I guess
Pretty cool
Thanks
That trim around the roof will encourage moisture and rot. Been there and done that. Looks nice though.
Quite possibly, but I put a vote out and people wanted it. I didn't glue it on though so hopefully some air will get up in there

great videos, could you make customs plans? i need for a lateral sheed arround 4x13
Thanks! Plans are linked in the description or go to Etsy and search for my store. Good luck on your build
What about a vent at the top near one of the gable peaks so hot air can flow out?
You can defiantly add one, I contemplated it
I love the shed! I also love black & white combo! Do you think a small window or a vented panel would have been a plus for airflow?
Thanks very much! I was contemplating a small wall vent on each side of the gables. Depends what you store in there and your climate
Can you do a greenhouse next? 😅
Actually I really want to next year, replace the one at my parents place with a nice post and beam style.
